Only just finished Volume 1.
Basic Summary: Fight against vampire chick, Fight against dude at the end of ep 3, Izayoi is a total evil guy, fight ends. That probably takes us to episode 5.

As a side note, I do hope they keep Izayoi's personality intact and don't dilute it. I think him having a terrible personality is his major charm point.

The second volume starts with Black Rabbit discovering this letter left by the three mondaijis:

“To Black Rabbit,
We’re going to participate at the Festival being held by the 4.000.000 exterior gate and the 3.999.999 exterior gate.
You are surely to come here later. Ah, don’t forget Leticia.
The punishment for not telling us about this festival is that we three are leaving the community if you don’t catch us today. Search for us with all your might. We’re cheering for you.
PS: We’re taking Jin-kun as our guide. “

This Festival is known as something like the “Festival of the Birth of the Red Dragon”. They can get there because Shiroyasha helped them by letting them use a transport gate to get there. Btw, the distance from where they were to the Division Wall where the festival is being held was 98.000km.
Shiroyasha wanted their help to promote the Festival because it was the first time the new North Floor Master was going to show her power for the first time and she asked for Shiroyasha’s help (East Floor Master). The Floor Master has the responsibility of protecting all the weak communities in their region. And this includes Demon Lord’s attacks.
As soon as they got there Black Rabbit appeared and got You. Meanwhile Izayoi and Asuka were walking around the festival and they had an interesting talk about the “Halloween” after they saw a sculpture (?) of a certain community called Will-o’-wisp. Asuka had never witnessed a Halloween (She lived in a certain Japan soon after the WWII). So, Izayoi mentioned the fact that the Halloween was originally a harvest festival and gave the idea of promoting a Gift Game of Halloween after they got to restore the farm of the community.
After this talk Black Rabbit and Leticia appeared. Asuka was caught by Leticia and Izayoi and Black Rabbit played a Gift Game. The anime didn’t show, but a Geas Roll is like this:

“Gift Game Name: “Moon's Rabbit and Izayoi’s moon”

Rules:

• The game starts from a call on a coin toss.
• When one of the participants caught the other one with the palm of their hands, the game ends.
• The victor can force one order to the loser.

Oath: Based on the rules above “Black Rabbit” and “Izayoi” are going to participate in this Gift Game.”

This Gift Game ends in a draw (each one can force an order to the other one) and they are called by some “Salamandra” members.

Izayoi together with Jin and Black Rabbit discovered what Shiroyasha really wanted from them: To help the Salamandra’s community against a possible attack from a Demon Lord during the Festival. Also they get to know Sandra (same age as Jin, 11) and we get the information that in the previous generation of No-Name they were allies of the same Alliance.
Meanwhile Asuka befriended a little spirit whose community name was Rattenfänger. Asuka also discovers a Red Giant that was probably constructed by the community of that little spirit. The Giant’s name was Deen. The place where they were was attacked by a lot of rats that wanted that little spirit. Asuka power didn’t work on them, but Leticia came and saved the day. After that Izayoi and Jin (who was studying about lots of legends and mythologies) told them about the reference between Rattenfänger and the Pied Piper of Hamelin.
Shiroyasha also mentioned that the Rattenfänger was under the influence of a former Demon Lord’s (who died) community called Grimm Grimoire.

For fun:

In the middle of the Gift Game between Black Rabbit and Izayoi there was a very fun scene:
“Hey, Black Rabbit! It looks like I can see inside your skirt, but I just can’t see anything! What the hell is this!?”
“Ayaya, are you angry because of this?
Fufun! These clothes have the effect of a gift presented by Shiroyasha that makes this impregnable mini-skirt have the ‘you can certainly see its inside, but in the end you can’t’!”
“Hah? That fellow, she is a ‘chiralist’ (in the sense that the person prefers a one-second panchira instead of a continuous (?) panchira… Well, something like that). Shit. If it comes to this I just have to put my head insi”
“Be quiet your ‘Obaka-sama’!!!”

Spoiler for Vol02 - Day 2:

You was one of the victors of the Gift Game “The Duel between the Creators” of the day before together with the Jack-o’-lantern and Asia Ignifatus. The Geas Roll was:

Participating Communities:

• Player: “Will-o’-wisp”
• Player: “Rattenfänger“
• Player: “No-Name“

Game Rules for Victory:

• Each community compete agains the other ones with the Gifts created by themselves.
• One assistant is permitted to allow the full use of the Gift.
• The game can be cleared only by the the user who owns the Gift.
• It’s going to be an all-out battle and the community who gets more victories wins.
• The victor confronts the Game Master.
• About the gift to be given:
• The player can request to the Floor Master of the Red Dragon the gift he wants.

Oath: Based on these rules above the communities are going to participate in this Gift Game under the pride and flag of each own.
“Thousand Eyes” Seal

Black Rabbit was going to be the new judge. The new Geas Roll:

“Gift Game Name: “Underwood’s Maze”

Victory Conditions:
1) The player has to leave the maze inside the giant tree.
2) Destroy the Gift of the other player.
3) When the other player can’t satisfy the clearing conditions (Desistence included).

Defeat Conditions:
1) The other player met one of the victory conditions.
2) The player can’t satisfy any of the victory conditions above.”

In the end You lost because she was at numerical disadvantage. At the end of the game a strange Geas Roll appeared at the sky:

“Gift Game Name: “The PIED PIPER of HAMELIN”

Players:
All the communities present at the stage of the Division Wall between the 3.999.999 exterior gate with the 4.000.000 exterior gate.

Players’ side - Appointed Game Master:

Then Shiroyasha was sealed, Izayoi went to fight against the demons Weser (thinking he was de Demon Lord), Leticia and later Sandra started fighting against a white demon named Strom (who was defeated by Sandra) and the Demon Lord "Black バーチャー" (couldn't find a translation); You, Asuka and Jin were trying to do something against the seal of Shiroyasha until they were attacked by Ratten. Asuka tried fighting her, but was defeated and in the end Black Rabbit stopped the Gift Game because the rules were going to be verified (if it’s a clearable game or not).
Sandra, Black Rabbit, Jin and Izayoi were in a meeting with the members of Grimm Grimoire Hamelin to confirm the rules. Jin and Izayoi soon discovered the true name of the Demon Lord: Pest.
Not just this, Izayoi also proposed new rules based on their true objective that was gathering new members, after all their community was new. Geas Roll (new itens in black):

“Gift Game Name: “The PIED PIPER of HAMELIN”

Players:
All the communities present at the stage of the Division Wall between the 3.999.999 exterior gate with the 4.000.000 exterior gate (including the “Miniature Garden Noble”).

Players’ side - Appointed Game Master:
Shiroyasha: Star Spirit of the Sun’s Revolution (Cannot participate at the moment, so it’s prohibited to contact her).

Players’ side Prohibitions

• Suicide as well as kill your allies.
• Escape from the Game Territory (Stage) during the break time.
• During the break time their individual actions range is until 500m outside the Festival’s quarter.

Host Master’s side Victory Conditions:

• All players’ submission and death.
• If 8 days passes the victory is automatic.

Players’ side Victory Conditions:
1) Defeat the Game Master.
2) Destroy the false legend and hold up the true legend.

Break Time:
During one week each side can’t interfere with the other one.

Because of her fight against Ratten Asuka woke up at a cave. Then she discovered a Geas Roll and the identity of that little spirit. He was a part of the 130 dead children at the Pied Piper’s story. They gave Asuka the chance to get their best gift, the automaton Deen. Geas Roll:

“Gift Game Name: “Miracle’s Bearer”

Player: Kudou Asuka
Victory Condition: Submit the Automaton Deen made by divine steel.
Defeat Condition: The player can’t satisfy the clearing condition.

Oath: Based on the rules above “ “ is going to participate at the Gift Game under the pride and flag of its community.
“Rattenfänger“ Seal“

Meanwhile Izayoi visited You that was hurt in the last battle. He got the last piece of the puzzle talking with her. Trying to simplify it:

1) Pest is the only one who doesn’t have any connection with the Pied Piper Hamelin;
2) The other members are real at the Grimm’s tales, but only one of them is a real one at the Pied Piper Hamelin;
3) About the Victory Condition 2, the answer is: “Destroy the fake stained glasses and hold up the true one.”
4) Shiroyasha was sealed because the Pest appeared in the cold season of the sun. This is equivalent to say that Shiroyasha is in her weaker state since Pest appeared.

Now, for the climax. Members of various communities started searching the stained glasses. A key person in this group was Jin because of his knowledge. Izayoi fought against Weser and won, but his right arm was far away from his best condition. Leticia started fighting against Strom and Ratten. Ratten and Strom escaped (?) from Leticia, but encountered Asuka. Asuka using her new power (Deen) defeated them both. Sandra and Black Rabbit were fighting against Pest and with the help of Izayoi and Asuka the battle went into its final stage. Black Rabbit used her true powers:
Vajra Replica;
Chandra Mahal [Moon’s Palace] – They went to the moon
Epic: Mabharata’s slip of paper – Something like a one-hit KO Lance (?)

In the end Asuka parted ways with that little spirit and the souls of the children. Izayoi acted a little serious with Mandra and discovered all the truth behind the incident. All the “Salamandra” members knew that a Demon Lord was coming to the Festival. Why? The reason is very simple: To make the debut of the Floor Master the best possible. A Rookie Demon Lord X Rookie Floor Master. Izayoi used this fact and made him promise one important thing. The next time the No-Name may need help against a Demon Lord, “Salamandra” will definitely come to help them.

As a side note, they do a bad job (I think) of explaining You's ability in the anime. She just jumps down when she falls in the anime; however, in the LN, I believe she actually goes down on all fours. Also, it explains more specifically that she "walks" on the air in the same way the Gryphon did. In the anime, it just seems like she randomly has some power to walk on air.

I can't remember if they explained it in the anime, but the item was never specified. They simply found it because Kasukabe noticed Galdo guarding something. Also, Galdo had lost all reasoning as a humanoid creature. When the vampire chick sucked his blood, he gained power as a "Vampire" and lost his original Gift which allowed him to retain a human form (he was originally a tiger before). Because of this, he reverted to a powerful tiger and only had the instinct to protect his territory remaining.

Demon Lord (Maou) is a title, rather than a race. As someone else said, it is a title given to people who abuse their rights as Host Masters (Head Organizers). The right of a Host Master is to issue a challenge which cannot be rejected. Simply put, No Name would have been able to reject the Game that devestated their community if it were not a challenge issued by someone with Host Master authorities.

Spoiler for Issuing the Challenge:

Ruios never wanted to actually accept a challenge from No Name. He was confident, but knowing Kuro Usagi's powers, he did not want the risk. Instead, he said he would give up Leticia if Kuro Usagi would go to him. Kuro Usagi is about to accept but is stopped by Asuka. When all was said and done, Kuro Usagi was placed under house arrest to stop her from doing anything stupid.

5 days later, Asuka (who got angry at Kuro Usagi for obvious reasons) and You come to Kuro Usagi and they talk, get buddy buddy, and start to plan how to fight Perseus. She mentions that there was nothing Riuos would want that they could use as collateral for a Game, but there was a trial they could pass which would force him to accept a challenge. The problem was that it would take Asuka and You a long time to complete the trials (they excluded Izayoi, since he left after their meeting with Ruios and had not been seen since).

At that time, Izayoi comes in with precisely the object Kuro Usagi was talking about. He completed the trials of Perseus (the original hero) alone, which involved victory against the Kraken and the Graiae Sisters. They force Ruios to accept their challenge with this. Normally he would have noticed someone doing these trials and done what he could to stop it from happening, but he didn't notice because he had not been doing any paperwork since he was fantasizing about Kuro Usagi. Perv.

Spoiler for DA MATCH!:

Players: Jin (Game Master), Izayoi, Asuka, You
The Game was for them to reach the Game Master (Ruios) without being seen. Ruois was in the depths of his palace, and his men, numbering roughly 100, were to search for the people from No Name. If Jin was seen, the Game would be their loss. If any of the other three were seen, they could act, but they could not do anything against the Ruios when he was found.

Asuka took the role of sacrifice to draw as many people away from the others as possible. You took the role of hunting for the enemy, since her ears and nose could catch signs of them (they had replicas of Hades' Cap and had the Gift of invisibility). Izayoi's role would be to escort Jin and fight Ruios.

Asuka started the game by using her Gift to control the water plant Izayoi got. She ended up using it to cause floods and shoot water jets to attack any of the visible attackers and destroy the palace. She was pretty much raising hell so people couldn't ignore her. As a side note, Asuka was annoyed, since she did not have complete control over the water plant. She was only able to use it because it was willing to be used.

The rest went ahead and snuck about, since the Perseus members with invisibility would be searching for them. You managed to sneak up and attack one of the invisible members from behind using her sense of smell to detect him. They took the cap and gave it to Jin, but Izayoi decided that Jin should hide and make sure he's not found while he took the gift (probably because he would be the one to fight and could move more freely that way).

After this, Ruios' aide attacked You from out of nowhere using the true Hades' Cap, which gives invisibility as well as hides scent and sound. Izayoi is attacked despite being invisible when he picks up You to retreat, but he simply takes the blow and holds his cap on to remain invisible. The two run to the end of a corridor and hide in a corner. You uses a sonar wave to locate the aide. Izayoi attacks and gets a second Gift of Invisibility. Since You was seen, she was out, so Jin and Izayoi simply head up to Ruios.

Ruois mocks them, pulls out a bow of fire or light or something like that, and reaches for a pendant on his neck. Kuro Usagi (who was there as a host) was anxious because she expected Ruios to be arrogant and simply attack, but Ruios understood it would be the end of Perseus if he fell, so he attacked from a distance. He summons the Astral Spirit Algol, a girl with gray hair and bound with restraints, who then lets out a light which could petrify the world they were in (I believe the Game was taking place in an alternate dimension made for it), resulting in all his men (and possibly Asuka and You) being petrified. Large boulders fall from the sky (I'm not sure why, it may have been an extension of Algol's power). Izayoi takes Jin and Kuro Usagi and dodges.

Jin and Izayoi talk. Izayoi confirms Jin's resolution, and Jin tells Izayoi to fight so he can see Izayoi's true strength and ability. Ruios shoots his bow, but Izayoi stops it by taking a deep breath and yelling (I think this is the case. I wasn't too sure, but they were talking about his pointlessly impossible lung capacity).

Annoyed by this, Ruios orders Algol to attack while he attacks from behind with Harpe, a weapon which has the power to kill Gods. Izayoi grapples with Algol for a second before she is overwhelmed (obviously, thought impossible due to the difference in strength between humans and astral spirits). He pushes her on the ground and stomps on her belly, cracking the floor beneath them (fyi, the whole top floor they're on is like a large arena). Ruios attacks at that point, but Izayoi counters. Ruios manages to block the attack with the handle of his weapon, but is sent flying into the sky. Izayoi quickly jumps up and throws him down into Algol.

Ruios questions whether Izayoi is really a human and asks about his Gift, but Izayoi can't tell him much other than what the Laplace paper has as his Gift name. Ruios gets angry (again?) and allows Algol to use her powers to turn the palace into a large temple housing her power. The palace essentially becomes a living organism as it turns pillars into many snakes which converge to attack Izayoi. Ruios screams that Izayoi would never escape alive, since the palace itself is his enemy now. Izayoi simply asks if he just has to destroy the temple before punching the ground. Jin and Kuro Usagi had a bad premonition hearing it and took cover.

His punch essentially destroys the majority of the floor, which crumbles down into the lower floors of the palace. Ruios is angry and frightened, since, with the barrier placed specifically around the arena, Izayoi would have needed the strength to destroy a mountain to do what he did. Ruios pretty much loses it and orders Algol to petrify Izayoi. Algol sends out a light which attacks Izayoi, but he, somehow, crushes the light, forcing it to shatter like glass.

Note: When they first got their Gift Cards, Shiro Yasha thought it might be possible he had a gift to cancel other Gifts, since the Gift Card should have been able to read his ability, but she denied that thought since cancelling other Gifts, while not uncommon, was limited to things which had form like weapons and armor. Obviously we all knew this, but his Gift is obviously an abnormal or unknown one.

Ruios essentially loses the will to fight, and Kuro Usagi is about to ask for his surrender, but Izayoi stops her. He taunts Ruios by reminding him of the fact that Ruios' defeat meant he would lose his Name and Symbol and would no longer be able to act under the name of Perseus. He ends things by pretty much saying his only option remaining is to "Use your life to amuse me." They continue the fight, which is left open ended. Epilogue starts some time after the Game ended.

Also, yes, Leticia does become their maid. The moment her petrification was resolved, Izayoi, Asuka, and You, all together, say "Thanks for all the hard work, Maid-san."

As an extra note for those of you that are curious, the issue with Algol was explained in the novel as well. Kuro Usagi was worried about it, but she only noticed on the day of the Game. Izayoi had actually done the investigatory work based on his own theory and discovered it before her.

Spoiler for About Algol:

Perseus was famous for beheading the Gorgon (Medusa), but the Gorgon's head itself was not something that should have existed in the world. That is because Perseus presented the head to Athena. Algol is the name of a Variant Star (A star which changes brightness due to changes in the wavelength it releases), which is also typically called a "Demon's Star." within the Perseus constellation. As can be seen here, Algol is located where the Gorgon's severed head is in the constellation, hence why Algol is associated with the Gorgon's Head and the Gift of Petrification. It's stated at the site linked above as well as in the light novel, but Algol is a derivation of the arabian words ra's al-ghul, which means "Demon's Head" and is a star associated with death via beheading.

Izayoi had his suspicions due to his knowledge of mythology and seeing the pendant around Ruios' neck during their meeting. During his 5 day absence, he confirmed his theory by borrowing equipment from Shiro Yasha and looking up at the sky. Algol (the star) was not present in the sky, so he assumed it meant Perseus had it in Little Garden.

There. Done. I'm not sure why I did this other than to pass time, since it will all be revealed (and confirmed, hopefully) within the next two weeks or so. My Japanese is still severely lacking, and I have even less time to study than before, so it's not getting any better, so take all this for what its worth.
