Got to say, just glancing through the LN, it's made much clearer there just what Chiaki's and Keita's relative stances on moe are and how far they go, and it makes me side much more strongly with Keita. As far as I can tell...

Keita feels that Moe is an incredibly valuable spice, an addition of extreme importance, sometimes possibly even vital, though he admits that it's bad for the balance to be lost. Moe can be done too much in his eyes, it's not the absolute be-all and end-all. But while done poorly or excessively it can be a detriment, when done right and to the right amount it has a big impact.

On the other hand, Chiaki responds to this with a flat "Moe brings only detriment with no benefit whatsoever". To her, there is no such thing as a situation in which a pretty face gives any benefit of any kind to a game. This extreme viewpoint is something I simply can't get behind in any way.

And I can sort of understand his anger. It'd sort of be like someone who starts talking to someone about animation and gets really deep on the value of all forms of animation only to find out that the person considers anime to be a lone exception, a blight on the animation world that would be better utterly destroyed and never seen again. It'd be hard to say the least to get along with someone after they declared something you consider a wonderful aspect of your favorite subject to be absolutely worthless.

Actually, a lot of the recent scene seem to flow better in the LN, with a clear view of how Keita's socially inept mind kept stopping him from saying what several people in the anime section got exasperated he wouldn't say. Still sad that he didn't just tell him "your girlfriend's watching" but at least we're given the awkward discomfort that led to his inability to do this.

Karen tendou best girl end. But I think there will be another misunderstanding in the next vol like aguri to keita, uehara to chiaki and karen back to stalking lol. I hope karen's feelings dont be wasted just because of chiaki. But hell mc is noob that's what I hate hahaha

I'm with u. I prefer Karen over Chiaki. I hope "the idiot" Keita can do something about his indecisiveness and I'm pretty sure his feelings for Chiaki's are different from how feels about Karen. I mean he feels intensely about Karen more than Chiaki and I don't think what he feels for Chiaki is romantic love. Although it's my personal opinion.

I love Tendou but I prefer the Amano x Chiaki pairing, they're just too compatible and their interactions are the best.

Tendou can date Misumi.
