Ain't the usual problem in shrinking big gifs is it gets uglier when minimized??? I tried some and its catatrophic if its optimized already prior to shrinking....

I've proven several times before that it's not impossible, it just depends on how close the requester wants it to be to the original quality.

Yeah, it's possible.. Unoptimizing is good but if the size range differences is very far, the higher the chance the gif will get ugly.. Oh, I'm a GIMP user btw.

eg. an optimized gif 500x500 is shrinked to 96x96 (my standard image sized border not included yet)

*if only I knew what image it was... whistles

I know that according to the first page that YT videos are generally not accepted for making avatars, but what if a video can only be found on YT?

Like this one, Nihonbashi Koukashita R Keikaku. I'd kinda like an avatar from around 00:38 to 00:41 where IA is reaching into the fridge (weird choice, yeah

).

If anyone could help make this one, that would be really nice. Overall it's a nice video too, so if you decide to watch the entire thing I wouldn't blame you.
