Man, tried for a few hours to get the transition right. . .so far, this was the best I got:



There's this dark border that makes it hard to get a smooth looking transition going.

Hm, I had a feeling there was something wrong with the edge... I looked again at my .psd file and don't really know what caused it, but I think it's the background picture I chose...Sorry about that. Do you want me to fix it?

Erm, Crazyhorse, it may actually be a good idea for you to change it. Considering when I actually do try to make it a smoother transition I noticed all the obvious lines were faded into a backround, most notably the two branches near the top of the right side.



Not to mention that black line thing. . .

Where did you post it, though? On, going back. You'll be #33 since you posted yours right after i added 31 & 32.

~~Though It might be a bit late for it. There's a few of ya I would like to go back and reedit your pieces to create the best fit possible.

~ Frailty (your Kite image is really obvious, and i'd like for you to if possible to go back and fix it a bit)
~ Ratche (I'd like for you to fix the middle section of yours which is right behind, Frailty's)
~ zSolaris (most of yours is a good clean connection, but that little bright area you added to the top left, the redish orange section is quite visable compared to the previous piece)
~ Arceon (You said you were working on yours. Keep the smooth transition going ^^)

Edit2: Going along with my age old tradition of changing the work completely in the middle of a deadline, I decided to handpaint the entire transition, since that was the only conceivable way to actually make it seem smoother, and then redid it with a different render since it was nigh impossible to actually get that handpainted transition in. .

AHHH!! Aw I feel terrible now. I was fixing up my transition to make it easier for you, but I guess I'm too late. I really didn't know why it had that black line that made it so hard to transition, but it should be easier to reflect my picture now...if you're not tired of it yet....

~Okay. Pretty much creating something that would follow the trunk of that tree would be nearly impossible so i just mirrored it and added a nice scenic sky background, with an angle at it. Added one of my favorite image i've extracted. Then added a few streaks and then you got this ^^ I hope ya like it.
