So first episode is out now and well after watching it, I'm a bit confused at what happened. Hope we find out more about the guys, origin of the grimore, and everything else involved...
The music was something else though, probably the highlight of the first episode imo. Everything else felt kinda dense.

....wasn't she going to her friend's house? Poor Azuna she's still waiting for Ritsuka while she's hanging out with a filthy rich demon kid.
So anyway, another musical. It looked a little better than it did in the previews, but I really with they had gone for bolder/more abstract visuals. But thank god no Miyano Mamoru. It's nice to hear some variety in singers. I'm not much into dirtybadwrong type romances (not that there's anything wrong with them), but the mystery so far is actually interesting, and the characters may end up being fun. |

Ep 01
I was so surprised when the MC began singing a song while walking down the street I literally froze with a on my face. Then later on when the next song came up I was ... reaaaaly hard. But believe it or not such "over the topness" of silliness actually was kinda charming in a bizarre kind of way. I think I might give the next ep or two a try. ^^

Well, I had nothing better to do, so started watching the first episode. "Ah", I thought, "Is this going to be one of those 'vacuous girl falls for bad lot of obnoxious tosspots' shows?"
And those guys sure are some obnoxious tosspots. The musical numbers amused me, but not enough to hold my interest. |

The first episode of Diabolik Lovers reminded me why I didn't finish the first season: the masochistic danger seems like it would be enjoyable, but it wasn't, for me -- perhaps because that show was so clumsily put together.
I worried at first that we were headed down the same road here, but then things got a bit more complicated...I hope. Love the fairly confident heroine. The supernatural aspects were effective. And both the songs were well done.

I saw the PV, so I was prepared when she started singing ("...normal high school girl" -- HAH!), but once it got to the guys' turn, I started cracking up. What is this, a musical? I almost expected the thugs to break into song during the fight.
Like everyone else, I'll stick around and see how it goes. Oh, and a PSA: Girls, if a guy you barely know asks you to get into a car with him, you don't get into the car with him, even if he just "saved" you. |

The student council song, omg... That's the hardest I've laughed in a long while. I think I might keep watching this actually! But... I'm not sure if it's for the right reasons, lol.

Very mysterious episode start.
It got me intrigued! I see it got compared to Diabolik Lovers, but this seems to be better. I acutally like the singing parts. They set that Phantom of the Opera mood. So far, very interesting! Will be watching it.

I started out watching this with fear that it will be like Diabolik Lovers with heroine abuse and masochist themes I really didn't like. But this one didn't turn out too bad. However, I totally didn't expect the leads to break out into songs like that. It was amusing but entertaining at the same time. The mystery appears intriguing and it looks like there may be a canon pair up, so I'll give this a few more eps.
