Probably not. Hyadain is not really a mainstream celebrity. He composes a lot of anime songs and got famous from video game music remixes that he posted on nico.

i think in the name of dark comedy, its probably epic if they made a 2nd season featuring the Advanced Generation units along with the "Age Builder"-like gimmick as the main big bad in the name of hatred & anger of poor popularity........... despite After War suffered worst with being forced to cut episodes/almost got cancelled

AGE being forced to cut close to 30 episodes (it was originally intended to be 75 episodes) is probably worse than what X got, since it basically affected the pacing of the entire series...

Didn't AGE go the full 50?

Also, the pacing problems was more the odd story beats they tried to do with the grandiose premise - there's really only so much you can and should tell when you want to cram a 100-year war into 50 episodes.

that is the biggest weakness of AGE, it switches very fast between generations with huge gaps in between without even a episoe that tells what happens in those gaps.

For the rest it's a great show.

IF you need 75 episodes to tell a story you honestly need some better quality control anyway. There are plenty shows that wrap up much more time/story in 20-30 episodes then AGE. AGE really did not warrant 75, the stuff we did get should have been engaging enough on it's own.

That's the thing, AGE tried to tell 3 stories within 50 episodes.

AGE 2 was by far the best segment, so I would have love it that portion had 25 episodes extra
