Liked the scene when Kotomine critically wounded Iri, but it looked more like a calculated move by his part than a finishing move (stabbing the belly is not fatal if treated in time plus he didnt finish Maiya neither). By doing so he ensured that Saber would have to stop and help her or she would die by the bleeding allowing himsefl for a safe retreat

Of course no one didnt know about Excalibur scabbard inside her wich probably saved her life since I doubt she could have hold by herself until she received medical atention or healing magic
Maiya seemed to have broken ribs or perhaps even a lung pierced since she coughed blood, unless we are seeing the "blood in the mouth" meme usual on many manga/anime/VN

Wouldn't be surprised if Kirei was able to break her ribs when he hit Maiya.

He went into this war thinking it will be full of honorable duels between mages putting their lifetime training on the line. Just imagine what it would be like if he faces up against Tohsaka. Granted that I think Lancer will get obliterated by Archer, but the fight between water and fire elements would be nice to see. Pity that Kiritsugu is not your typical Mage.

I don't think anyone except the saber faction knows about Kiritsugu's Origin Bullet. I doubt even Saber realised that her master is such a *****
Well to be fair Kayneth ignored that they were supposed to be focusing on Caster and instead went off to fight Saber's Master. He may have done it in a pretty open fashion, but not like he was able to put the battle aside even for a moment.

True enough that he expected this to be a great battle between mages who have trained for years for this moment. Too bad for him Emiya just wants to win and survive.

That was a scary fight against Kirei. That guy is a true monster right there. Terrifying guy. Thank god that Kiritsugu was smart and gave Avalon to Irisviel. Or else there's no way she would have survived. Though she did fight well and that was impressive.

Kind of amazing that even the battle against Caster had no conclusion. They did force him off, but he is still alive.

Does look bad for Lanster's master staying in the fight. Luckily they have someone else who can handle that role. No matter what kind of healing magic they can get, it's not going to be easy to recover from that kind of damage.

Don't all members of the church have some small amount of divine protection? I think that was mentioned before.

Also, I get the origin bullet, but what does Mystic Code mean?

Also, I think Emiya throwing away the gun, only to pick it back up later makes total sense...he knows he be fast enough to get it back, and he needed Kayneth to focus on the pistol he was gonna fire.

The priest vestment for Executors are made form Kevlar.

Executors are a group within the Church who are sent to hunt Undead and rogue Mages.

A Mystic Code is a magus artifact, their "magic wand". A support weapon carried by a magus to amplify his magecraft or perform special effects.

For example, Kayneth's Volumen Hydragyrum was his Mystic Code.

Holy shit, that was brutal. A lot of blood. Kirei did not have to be that mean to Iri... that was horrible. My god and it came out of no where. Thank god Kiritsugu gave her the scabbard. Smart guy, for a multitude of reasons.

Kayneth got owned! I'm confused which bullet hit first... but I suppose I'll sort it out when I read the novel.

Poor Kayneth. Not only are his magic circuits gone, but he is going to get NTR'd too. Poor guy.

He has one shot he knows is going to penetrate his opponents defense and all he gets versus a standing still target was a shoulder wound ... I realize its all just a setup so he can use his other cool special bullet but would really make a lot more sense if he actually hit a critical on the stationary target instead of just using it to get a wound + bait. Guess he should spend more time practicing how to aim his firearms instead of just spraying + praying.

Actually, I had the same complaint at first. However, after thinking about it some more I realized that it's VERY easy for a bullet's trajectory to change after hitting ANYTHING. Even though the bullet was able to pierce the mercury shields, it'll still probably veer off course.

So he probably did aim for a critical region, but had the plan B of the origin bullet if it didn't kill Kayneth.

In addition to what Xion Valkyrie mentioned, Kiritsugu stops being able to see where Kayneth is after he starts shooting with the Calico since the mercury shield is opaque. So it's understandable why he would've missed anything critical.

Did anyone else find Kirei's running animation at the amusing? It was totally Team Rocket style.

yupe. I agree with you guys. So far so good.

I didn't understand something in the preview of episode 8. Rider said: "my master was nearly killed"

What's going on? What is he talking about? I didn't see anybody threatening his master.

To be fair, he can't even see Kayneth. It's just like shooting toward a mirror with nothing to aim at. The fact that he even hit Kayneth is already good enough. Though he's not really dodging anyway.

It's his daily evening exercise.

It's going to be tough to kill caster if he can always just teleport away

I like the fights between humans more than Saber and Lancer hacking at Caster. Kotomine is pretty badass. How did he get from this to a generic villain in F/SN?

Overall, everything once again resolves nicely... too nicely. Caster is solved, but still got away. Yeah, he busted out his noble phantasm and probably won't be much of a force in the future, but I would have liked at least one casualty. Same with Lancer's master. Seems like he's suffered permanent damage... but still remains. At least one more week of handicapped Saber makes me a sad panda.
Kotomine GENERIC in FSN? you mad bro?

I don't think anyone expects masters to be fighting servants, they would get slaughtered. Besides, he did send lancer to deal with caster anyhow.

The DEEN Anime seriously missed a load of detail on how broken of a human he was, and how tormenting it is having that nature.
