The "mechanics" of the sheep pen would likely never get past even the most basic of censorship reviews.

I get why they cut a lot of the conversation... a lot of it can be found out later or through OVAs and there is a striking difference on how anime and LNs behave. LNs can afford to have long conversations while a whole episode (which is what it would have been had the whole conversation played out) of just talking would get annoying and boring to most.

The only thing that has annoyed me was actually last season and how they completely cut out ALBEDO'S SISTER. Yes... she has a sister (two actually) and yes... she's awesome.

Nothing much you can do if it is just a 1-cour. This should had been 2-cour. Still hoping for season 3. That's the one I really want.

She has a sister called Nigredo (oldest). She's a japanese horror type chick with long black hair and clothes and looks creepy as hell. Her face has no skin, just exposed muscle. She has a certain "mechanic" in her setting where she keeps crying about her baby being kidnapped and attacks anyone she sees in an insane fit of rage. He rage can be calmed if she is given a baby doll or an actual child.

She's an area boss and has a remote surveillance ability which was what Ainz used to actually find Shalltear in the first place. In the anime, they skipped that part and he just... found her.

Once she is calm, she's actually one of the most kind-hearted beings in Nazarick and is opposed to killing innocent people.

The other sister (youngest) is Rubedo... and almost nothing is known about her. She was only mentioned in a conversation between Albedo and Nigredo. She's considered the strongest entity in Nazarick.

Seems like Nigredo hates her with a passion, because she was made differently than other NPCs (she doesn't specify how) and is therefore a possible threat to Nazarick. Albedo thinks she is absolutely adorable.

Wow that episode ended so quickly again. I feel like 5 minutes past but it has been the whole thing. Been feeling the same since like the arc started.

Would have liked to see more Sebas fighting but I don't mind Brain. And it looks like Sebas's test of loyalty is coming up with Ainz being inside.

You're not alone. Every episode of season 2 flies by in a good way.

Feels like Climb and Brain mellowed out tremendously just by spending half a day with Sebas. Pity it seems like their mentor is in hot soup now. And the princess finally shows some of her true self, was thinking she would be Evileye's alter ego but seems like that's not the case.

Hmm, judging on the final few minutes of episode 9, it seems Renner isn't as pure as she seems to be, at least when it comes to Climb.

Brain's change is hella cool imo, it put a smile on my face. The fat noble got his well deserved retribution, but the slaps cracked me up. Now we know why Tsuare ended up in that state. Succulent is dissapointing though.

About the princess, she's just...*sigh*.

Well, that is certainly an interesting family dynamic to say the least.

And I had Princess Renner all wrong. I thought she had some diabolical plans for him. But it looks like she's just very protective of him and willing to kill anyone that wrongs him. I'm looking forward to what Ainz will say to Sebas. I'm definitely glad he kicked the organs out of that fat aristocrat's stomach.

I am glad that I was off on Renner to a degree. She does have a terrifying streak to her, but she also does truly consider Climb to be precious. There is mutual care there between the two of them. I just worry for anyone that says anything bad about Climb...

Will have to wait till next week to see Ains and Sebas have a chat. In theory it shouldn't be a big issue. But it depends on what was reported and how it is interpreted.

Some good moments though. Climb got to step up and show his potential. And glad Sebas took care of business so effectively. There was no saving that guy...

I did not read the LN, but this season SO FAR has been lackluster compared to the previous. It clearly has something to do with the pacing. Take this episode and the last one for example. This episode feels short somehow, it maybe because there are fewer details and few different scenes. The animation took a dive also. I'm not demanding some Ufotable fight scenes, but the first season did much better than this.

They better not fuck up the Momon vs Demiurge scenes. It is the only thing that caught my attention in the opening.

Edit: That said, I would be damned if I said I did not like Sebas's moments. Cool, calm, manly, thoughtful but no fucks given at times, gives retribution where its due, that is how a badass character should be.

That's how most of the episodes have been going for me too. It feels like they end almost as they start.

Brain and Climb form a good team and I don;t mind seeing more them. Interested in seeing what happens during the talk between Ainz and Seras. Finally to the surprise of no one, Renner really does have a dark side to her, at least she cares about Climb.

Well judging from the ED, I was expecting the princess to be innocent during the day, a murderer at night and most likely involved with 8 fingers. Well I probably could be considered half right. Lets see when it comes. But lately I was getting vibres Climb could be her "experiment" and being used, so I felt good he made contact with sebas (Climb has grown on me where my first impression I didnt like him). But that ending shows thats not the case. not an experiment at the least.

Sebas in trouble :s and Shaltear is making some fans.

EDIT: That transition into the ED was pure perfection though. The only thing comparable to that "meta" element that I am aware of was No Game No Life when they slightly "altered" the ED a single time by removing a certain character and adding creepy distortions.

I wonder if yandere Renner will now permanently replace the facade Renner in the EDs of the upcoming episodes.

Anyway, I just realized that Lakyus' Chuuni behaviour might have something to do with being around Renner a lot, now that I think about it... and I say that as a LN reader. Well, the LN doesn't really give any further hints about this anyway at least not up until vol. 11, the lastest volume I read.

Now we know why the women were ending up that way, it was so satisfying seeing Sebas slap around and kill that fat bastard.

I didn't think Climb would win but I thought his efforts were very impressive.

Brain was cool to watch, made real short work of him.

I have a feeling Brain will run into Shalltear again at some point, but 1 thing I could see happening if that was the case is Stronoff being there at the same time and the name of Ainz being brought up and they might come to an understanding because of it.

Very interesting to see what happenes next between Ainz, Sebas & Solution.

Wow the princess has quite the personality(s) at least she care a lot about Climb.
