in the ending theme Don't Say Lazy, Mio had this black custom with a little hat. Is that like her signature/unique custom or is it a style of some sort? Cuz I saw a girl earlier wearing that little hat with a black dress. I didnt ask her

Its a style variant of goth-lolita. The hats were a known thing before Mio wore them. Mio's version may be unique to her... but the "little black top hat and black dress with trim" is one of the 'harajuku' styles. Mio is projecting a 'slightly magical witchy' theme in the ending theme video.

Okay Lets say Ho-kago Tea Time wasn't an anime, but a real band, like lets say they were real people in our wold (still maintaining all there album songs) and the anime never happened. Realistically How popular or how big do you think they would be if they were a real band touring and doing all that mainstream stuff?

In Japan? Freaking awesome... because they'd be tolerable to the mainstream. Ever heard of ZONE? Morning Musume? Yum Yum Orange? Or even Scandal?

The Japanese sense of musical "center" is in a far different place than the US.

^And given the popularity of those bands, Yui's dream of playing at Budokan with HTT would probably only be a matter of time.

Given the state of Japanese music culture? HTT would be huge. To the extent that an anime or manga fan outside of Japan would be expected to have heard of them because an anime project might've licensed one of their songs as an OP or ED theme; or because some 4-koma writer would've picked the last names of the members of HTT as the inspiration for his little music-based comic . . .

Given the success so far is what I suppose way outside normal for a anime band or group of voice actresses forming a band (or singing group since that has been done for years). You don't generally see anime songs on top of the charts, and certainly not for a long time, and definately not winning music awards normally reserved for live real bands.

So what do Yui's parents do? And why are they never around? In fact we don't get to see any of the parents at all.

Sort of like Peanuts comic in a way. I think you hear Mioi talking to her parents at one point. Ritsu seems to have her parents around since she was doing her father's laundry. Mugi is unclear, but we've never seen her home and judging by her activities around New Years I suspect her father at least is home for large social gatherings. Only Yui and Ui's parents seem to be off in the world a lot of the time since the Light Music club doesn't see them until just before they graduate (three years).

Japanese Itunes, Other then that I think you might need to purchase it online as a CD. you are not allowed here in the forums to request, ask or provide links too free downloads publicly, Since K-ON!! is Licensed. Sorry the Animesuki forums does not want to deal with illegal issues.

P.S
This is not the right forum to ask such question by the way. it sounds more like for the K-ON!! Q&A, K-On! - Merchandise (Figurines, Artbooks, DVDs, etc.), or the K-On! - Music discussion
you should probably take a look at this
you can ask for help where to buy it in the Merchandise thread or go here

Since Bandai Entertainment have licensed the first series of K-On!, AnimeSuki will no longer list torrents for it. In addition, the following posts are no longer allowed:
-Asking where you can find K-On! downloads.
-Providing links to K-On! downloads.
-Discussing K-On! fansub groups (past or present).
-Asking for help downloading K-On!.
-Asking for playback help for K-On! episodes.
-These rules applies to fansubs (in English or any other language) and raws alike.

You still are allowed to discuss the anime, that has not changed, but please remember to limit the discussion to the story.
Discussion about the license can be found in the "K-On! licensed by Bandai Entertainment" thread, please use it to discuss aspects of the license. Please note that at this point in time we only consider the first series of K-On! as licensed (this includes the 12 2009 TV episodes, the Special and the DVD Only episode along with the B-Side Theater extras).

This is assuming that the movie is going to be about their post-graduation trip. (Which would be the smart assumption to make, unless the production committee is engaged in some clever misdirection.) Though a movie about a trip abroad would be the perfect opportunity for KyoAni to do a movie about the girls doing nothing but cute things set to lots of trademark KyoAni scenery porn . . . while avoiding the cost and effort of actually having to show them performing music. Though they can set much of the soundtrack to HTT songs, throw in a couple of new ones for the opening and ending, and make a killing on the movie soundtrack.

It'd be a real headache to transport instruments through the international air transportation system and the public transportation system of wherever they end up going. They'd have to have a real good reason for wanting to do so (like being a touring band.) So I'd go with no they won't. However, that wouldn't stop them from picking up their instruments when they get back . . . maybe Mio gets inspired while on the trip and writes a song about it, and we'd see them perform that in the last five minutes of the film.

Any other interpretation of the question means you're on the ban hook.... you registered in 2008 so you've certainly read the Forum Rules by now, right?

I seem to recall it being mentioned, somewhere that I can't find currently, that the OVAs would be up to 28th episode of the second season, can confirm that there is or isn't another OVA due out? [Rather than me getting my hopes up for no reason ]

There isn't any more K-On anime coming aside from the movie.

Over the course of watching the series, I've formed a ton of questions, lol.

1. I know for a fact that during freshmen year, Nodoka and Yui were in a class together, while Mio and Ritsu were in their own class too. Was Mugi in Mio's class because she participated in the haunted house? I don't think they ever mentioned it anywhere else.

2. Prior to Ep 1, did Mio have any experience with bass? Besides Mio, I think when and how everyone learned to play their instruments was mentioned.

3. If Mio's only been playing bass, how does she know so much about guitar? I don't think bass uses guitar chords, and she seemed to know them pretty well. She even had a guitar chord handbook.

4. Is it implied that Yui's parents come back and leave again off-screen? I know they travel a lot and even made a small cameo in the anime, but were they supposed to be gone for 2+ years?

5. Is the previous light music club (from the year before theirs, not Sawako's) ever mentioned? Why was Ritsu's club the first generation to find Death Devil's old things, including the SG guitar? Shouldn't the previous clubs after Sawako's have found them first?

Sorry for all the questions.. thanks in advance. xD
