[MANGA] Bleach Chapter 425 Discussion

I didn't realize that Bleach characters actually had some kind of substance until all the back-to-back fighting stopped. They all seemed one dimensional during the "war".

The "it was all just a dream" seems to be a possibility but what's with the supposed substitute shinigami hanging around in Ichigo's dream world then?

I was also thinking that instead of the dream world being produced by Aizen, maybe it's being produced by the Hogyoku? Hogyoku supposedly rejects Aizen, but where does it go? (Sorry if this has already been discussed in the previous threads.) Then Ichigo talks about how Hogyoku's power is to "realize what's in the hearts of those around it". Ichigo thinks that Aizen secretly wants to be "just a shinigami" so it's granted? And Ichigo really just wants to be normal so...? Ichigo being the Hogyoku's new master and thus easy access to restored shinigami powers is not how I would like it to go down.

Either way, Secret Agent Man walking around in either dream world or reality looking over Ichigo's shoulder is still paranoia inducing.

All this could be a dream imo.

It could Aizen's Bankai so the battle might still be going on.

It could be after battle side effects. Eaither from Aizen's bankai or Ichigo using his powers to their limits.

Both are very possible in my opinion.

So i agree with all those that have already pointed these out .

This is a new arc and that is so off, but it could be a dream or something either way Tite is defiantly foreshadowing events to come

Nah, kubo isn't that clever... but we will see... the only thing that bothers me is Ichigo's dream.

I don't know, i never pay much attention on Ishida...
But paying attention in the fatty there, he looks like Onigiri from Air Gear or like one of Hanamichi Sakuragi's partners (Slam Dunk).

Nah, that's just another one of Kubo's "WTF is that?" weird background things. Sometimes I think he just gets 19 pages of blank paper, spills ink all over them, and composes his drawings around that.

Yes, Kubo is indeed quite defiant in his foreshadowing of events yet to come. How dare he just give us hints and clues? I want to know what's happening now damn it.

I wouldn't be surprised if when Ichigo picked up Aizen's sword he became absorbed into its world because it was lonely like Ichigo said then it used Ichigo's memories to create Karakura town within the world and finds a way to slip itself into Ichigo's group of friends so it isn't lonely.

Honestly, I think this is what's happening the same as it happened with Dragon Ball, Kubo planned on ending it but because Bleach brings in so much money that the author becomes a corporate hostage. If he doesn't continue the series until they are satisfied they'll cut him off. Kinda like a "Do as we say or you'll never work in this town again." Although I'm convinced that Jump is run by Yakuza.
