What do you mean with separate pictures? The background behind Takano? The japanese releases always have an background image behind the character, it's just omitted from the English release. Like this:

I like the new cover actually, Takano didn't have any with her black outfit yet. It just doesn't feel right for being the final volume. Well, maybe they'll have the group pic in the final cover of Saikoroshi-hen.

That's why I had to buy 7 books to read them all

In my opinion, I don't like Karin as well.
Hinase is now busy with Umineko manga, Yutori is with her own manga... Among of those 7 artists, if I can I would choose Mimori.

Example: Scanlating the manga, translating the game, drawing fanarts, doujinshi, playing novels, etc...
