Some people do this for the lulz no matter how much they'll be bound to be dissed on the net. Others jump in despite the fact that their physique isn't just right. It's both sad and funny. I'd rather be dressed as a Yakuza mobster.

My fellow friends (some of them cosplayers) and I have to do some deep breathing meditation so our brains don't explode at anime cons. About 75% put some sincere effort into their costumes and choose wisely, about 10% knock your socks off in a good way.... but then there's that 15% (aieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee).
