Why don't they have tails? For some reason, these fish guys seem incomplete without some for of fish tail. Maybe its because of those butts the animators gave them

And now that I think about it, with how far some of those Sahuagin are jumping, won't quite a number of them land into the forest? They jumped over Shoryuu's and the two other trainers' heads, meaning that they landed in the forest that the three just came out of.

Explanations of the powers and abilities were a bit dull.
They probably put in to make character's actions more understandable.
Shame they wasted half of the episode on it though.
At least the training camp is making nice progress.
Not much Shiroe and his story this time.
Almost entire episode was focused on the low level kids' training.
Seems like the action is reserved for next episode.

I'm really weirded out by how the Sahuagin jump out of the water.
It would have looked lot more impressive to have them just slowly walk out of the waves as a large unstoppable horde.

That's exacly how it was in the Light Novel. The adventures kept slaughtering the sehuagin and they just kept coming in endless waves. My guess is they just had to do something "animesque" for the sake of visuals idk.

Sooo why can't Rudy be friend listed? My probably wrong guess right now is he's one of those "hero" npc guys that are as strong as adventurers. I don't think it's a database issue cause he made a really weird face when it happened, like he knew and had been found out.

I suspect the precursors are meant to be as strong as high-level adventurers, not low-level ones. I doubt Rudy is one of them. I suspect he's just a (relatively) ordinary Person of the Land.

Well based on the previous episode with Minori looking at the status screen, it appears Rudy isn't an adventurer or else it would have been next to his name like Isuzu.
As for what he is, Id guess a Person of the Land.

poor rudy, looks like the OP scene with his "death" is coming, omg i gonna miss him, his interaction with the girl was cut that will be really a big tragedy, her lost fo him.

man today after watch this episode the only thing is coming to my mind is how horrible is today the dungeon and raid pugs in wow, the "friendly part" totally vanish nowadays, the only thing you get is "how horrible you/him are a trash/garbash dps/tank/healer and the hurry to kick you/him, no more friendly talk, dps pulling adds cus can't wait 1s for tank prepare the pull, peoples afk in middle of fight and a lot of complains.

i think is cuz he not a "adventure hero" then he can't add/ be added as friend he is more like a follower/scort/event quest character from the game, i believe their only can add to the friendly list only peoples who come from real world, peoples from the land can't be added.

It seems the B-Team finally got their act together. It would be nice if people I party with in PvE Quese would watch this first half, then maybe we wouldn't get wiped all the time LOL.

I liked how this really does fill in people on MMO battles and how strategy is central in raids.

Hmm seems the Rudy x Izusu ship is budding. Its a nice pairing.

ROTFL A GOLDEN RETRIEVER So cute hahaha XP But well, Rudy is a Lander, while it was heavily hinted last episode, it's been revieled now. Mysteries!

Anyways this episode seems to be a setup for the next few episodes. It seems that it will be filled with the action that everyone has been waiting for. Can't wait to see them. :P

I actually am liking to see the attack of the Sauguhin. Its truly different seeing the scope of it this way.

Elder Tale would totally not fly in today's MMO market. You need that much team work just to get through a low level dungeon. No way the current MMO players can get through that with the mentality and skill they have.

Could just be a Japanese Server thing with all that team work. i am pretty sure the NA servers have much less emphasis on it.

No.

As mentioned way back in Episode 1, its a lot harder to fight when you're not looking through a monitor.

Not only is your field of vision a lot less, but now you have to actually deal with the mobs face-to-face.

The lowbies are just wiping on trash mobs because they don't know basic MMO dungeojn tactics like back in my newbie days in World of Warcraft.

Dammit, I was hoping to see Marie fight, but instead she almost gets taken out by lv30 trash mobs even though she herself is a lv90. Kinda pissed me off there.

Not much she could do apart from healing, as the only "equipment" she had on was a skimpy swimsuit. Be reasonable.

To be fair, there was a little too many sahuagins for even a level 90 cleric. And I don't think you can tank with clerics to the same extent as priests in ragnarok online can.
