Please God let it be a remake of the original with 2 cours. It could have been downright great with more time to flesh out the world and its characters. It ended up being good having to compress in 13 episodes.

I reckon it's the VN they've been working on for years now.

Nonetheless I couldn't careless about an anime of it being made. Key is done and dusted in my books.

They can actually make an anime about the prequel manga, Angel Beats Heaven's Door.
The manga series has more than enough content for two cours and currently has no plans of bridging with Otonashi's side of the story.

Personally I'd be fine and interested in watching an anime of either of these.

Shouldn't we have learned by now never to get hopes up for a Japanese countdown reveal? Those people are masters at building false hype. Creating a thread before we actually see what it is seems awfully premature.

Hope it's the VN. Even then I'm not too thrilled about that since I wasn't a fan of the anime, but I really don't need a reboot or 2nd season.

I remember watching this show a while back and being in awe and wonder is it became what must have been the most popular show to be utterly incomprehensible to me. Maybe I just wasn't the target audience for it or something but man if I could figure out what the appeal was supposed to be.

I was more in the position where I was having fun with it early on. But after the half way point I just wanted to slug the MC. Pretty well turned into a kind of horror scenario where the MC was killing off the cast.

Curious enough to see what this ends up being. Wouldn't be surprised if it was VN or something of that nature.

It's a rumor based on nothing, especially since there is already a VN series that is in the works. OP, can't just wait 24 hours to confirm what something is before assuming it's an anime?
