Review

Spoiler:

+ Well done scene with beato helping kanon and jessica
+ Beatifull endles nine scene with CORE (I missed so much the bgm Tsubasa)
+ Nice discuccion WITHOUT SUSPICION XD (They used dread f the grave but not so well but i like it)
+ VERY NICE HAPPINES OF THE MARRIONETE IN THE GOLDEN LAND
+ Nice adaptation from the last scene with ange.

- They ruined the web of red
- No bgm tsubasa
- No mirage coordinator
- VERY rush tea party
- lack of godd bgm in the last scene with ange.

Overall, it was a good episode, but again, it suffered from the initial episodes pace and was a bit rushed (not like ep 11 of course). And

on the battle between Eva-beato and Battler they didn't use many of the red truths used on the game (0 for 2nd, 4rd, 5th and 6th twilights).

Oh, and Battler is a monster!

This episode is a roller coaster.

Concentrated awesome that goes by so quickly that you're left in a daze of what happened.

Despite some annoying cuts, I honestly think this is the best episode so far. Lots of emotion, lots of intensity.

Some things that disappointed me:

Spoiler for MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THIS EPISODE:

The red web was kind of... underwhelming.
The LOL I TROLL U was a bit too sudden, not enough build up.
They skipped Lambda threatening Beatrice.

And of course the music complaints, but I forgive them because they used Happiness of Marionette, Core, and Dread of the Grave. Still would have liked Tsubasa and Miragecoordinator...

I'm going to give this episode a 10/10 despite those faults, as it entertained me. Something that the anime on a whole has kind of struggled to do at times because of lacking intensity and emotion.

Honestly, if Episode 3 would have been one more episode so they didn't have to rush the things they rush, I'd consider it a good adaption. As it is, however, it was just "decent". Still a hell of a lot better than Episode's 1 and 2.

Too rush but what can you do? Also the animation of this episode is a lot better than previous one so I can forgive some of it's fault. BTW Ryukishi is really a master in troll faces, the anime troll faces just pale in comparision lol.

Finally we enter episode 4, I hope it can keep up the trend we've seen in episode 3 and I will rethink my verdict on the adaptation. Overall I am quite satisfied with ep3.

ehh i have no clue what i think about this ep. so mixed feelings.
and i can't separate it from vn, so lots of comparsions.


what i can say for now, scyscraper scene was perfect, i loved Bern, i loved engrish, i loved the sky, i liked the music depite it beeing anime one, though i would prefer the game BGM. it had similiar atmosphere to what i imagined.

though i kinda have a Bernkastel obsession, so i pay a lot attention to her scenes. i wonder if anyone cared about this one as much as i do.


also, Evatrice's web of red... or rather lack of it. it was a dissapoinment, a huge one, i'd say.

This episode looks awesome,can't wait until its subbed so I can watch it. The scene with Bern and Ange in the city looks really pretty,and from what I see, Eva-Beatorice left Eva alive? Arg,I hate Eva-Beato..shes such a...I wont say what I think about her right now,because I dont like typing out bad words,haha.
Oh,and this episode looks to have some BattlerXBeato moments. Yay~
and not to mention,crazeh Virgilla and Beato scare me..

+Moetrice at her maximum
+Cool-crying Battler (in the VN it had no merit crying with the hands in your pockets)
+Lots of good BGM used DotG seems it's only the last ep, Happiness of Marionette FINALLY, Core, NO SUSPICION, still like the BGM that sounds in romantic scenes and the tea party BGM really fitted childish Lambda
+Liked Ange and her voice overall, will wait for the ANGSTfest to really check her voice
+In just a minute you can tell Lambda's lesbic motivations for the game
+Liked Ange's skycraper scene and old psycho Eva
+Beato's face right before doing it (I knew it, still. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW)
+Ohara is just AWESOME, going from moe to cackling like that, really good. The same wih Ono, Inoue and Satou. Oura is just perfect for Lambda, she can be psycho when she wants, waiting for her in ep4
+Good animation (Eva shooting Battler was just like in the VN)
+The Siestas looked cute when running out and when Battler defeated them
+Virgilia and Beato's troll faces were good, really different from usual


-NO 'thanks for being born', the feeling of that scene was completely lost thanks to fake red shoes, DEEn just doesn't know how a TENDER AND TRAGIC scene is supposed to sound. THe -Tea party was rushed->no MIragecoordinator (small complain,, it would be a shitty short remix)
-Meta-battles are still lame, so much red text taken

+- They made her resistance too troll a bit obvious, I won't cmplain since anime readers are usually a bit dense and I'm sure most won't even notice

8.8/10 so that's a 9, maybe I'll raise it to ten after watching it subbed, but I really don't know, other people opinions always help here

Lol I felt like 3/4 of the red truths were missing. But the endless nine looked very nice
I totally have to get used to Ange's seiyuu, also her character gets far too much "cool movements", in the VN she always felt like a wannabe-cool in front of a sensible child to me, and I can't stand this power up Ange ;_; Okay enough useless complaining, it was very awesome anyway, I was very well entertained I think they put a lot of effort in most parts of the episode, I'll give them that.

SHe never was showed killed, it wasn't even mentioned except in the TIPs in which she was gone missing (She was eaten alive by demons and was huging Kanon to her last second (god imagine that one, hilarious)
