Well, I just finished watching this anime at the suggestion of a friend.
First off, pretty decent anime, good and interesting storyline. The only problem I had was that the story seemed to jump around a lot or there were gaps in the plot(s) or story itself. (More on this later.) It felt like watching that good old-school RPG from the 16-bit days turned into an anime. Animation was decent but it looked like it dropped in quality a bit towards the last few episodes. I really hope there is a second season that does fix on the aforementioned problems. For example, keep the plot and story consistent. Spoiler:

Wikipedia helped explain a few things but I guess it's better to read the light novel if I can find it translated.
You can read the translated material at baka tsuki http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/in...ha_no_Densetsu |

Great series hopefully we get a 2nd season i think theres enough viewers to continue. It had bugged me for the longest time that Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu reminded me of another series and i figured it out. It reminds me The Guin Saga (which i also wish for a 2nd season) not sure why it reminds me though.

Woah, I just finished watching this.
Really, really great series, I hope they'll make the second season. But then again, allot of sequels for other series seems to be missing so that does make me worried. Ah, well guess I'll have to learn my kanji and pick up the light novels. P.S I know I'm freaking late but where in the world can I get a sig of this series? Wow great series this, wow great series that... People seem to forget soooo easily what a good story is or what proper pacing means or if an ending that doesn't exist is infuruating or throwing all context away just to have a moe girl eating dangos is actually retarded.
Berserk anyone? Yes, it has no ending. And the manga is still on-going too so let's go easy on it. |

Just started this as a recommendation from.. err... youtube fan videos?
I was eager to watch something like this. Not enough medieval fantasy anime these days. Too that bad there are no elves. Great character design, awesome story and atmoshpere fallow by gorgeous animation. I'm a little bothered that scenes go too fast. Can't feel the tension when certain dramatic scene ends too quickly. So far, I'm just at episode four. Still, long way to go.
