Colonel Cabatac (My Highschool CAT instructor) used to tell me that it's not Tactics or Strategy that win a battle, but Logistics. If you look at most, if not all the battles shown in IS so far, it pretty much IS Logistics that saves them in the end.

@Kuroi, can you check the chapter titles for Volume 7? The more I look at them the more I think I made some mistakes.

Put simply Logistics is basically making sure you have the equipment you need when you need it and where you need it. There are entire college/university level courses in both Business Management and Military Doctrine on Logistics and Operations Management. It has its own mathematical formulae. The best known practical and non-military example of logistics is JIT (Just In Time) processing, pioneered by Toyota. How does all of this relate to IS? Well---In the case of Ichika it's Byaku-Shiki evolving just in the nick of time, or the add-on systems being added to the girls' equipment, or the arrival of Akatsubaki in time for the Silverio Gospel mission, or... Put simply, if Ichika and Co. did not have the equipment/upgrades they needed at the time they needed (and that includes Akatsubaki's recharge/healing/whatever ability), they would have been totally trashed long ago. As it is in the novels, they already are getting trashed soundly. It DOES NOT HELP when the person supplying your equipment and upgrades also happens to be making stuff for the opposing sides. Jesus H Christ, Tabane should work for Anaheim Electronics....

On another point, in all 7 volumes, have we ever knew what happened with Ichika's parents other than the fact that they abandoned their children, were they scientists? careers? maybe we'll try to unlock the mystery behind Madoka.

Maybe Ichika's dad has an illegitimate kid and the kid is actually Madoka?
