Well, I'm glad for this show, if only because I need a comedy to replace last season's Binbougami. The plot is typically cliched "dropped in a fantasy land" drivel, but how it remains funny despite of it is what made the first episode. Hope they keep it up.

Because the lyrics need to be known for great justice, I decided to have a shot at translating both the suggestive lyrics and the actual context. Hopefully a subber out there will translate/word it better than this but you get the idea.
NOTE: (The actual context) // (What is being sung) Spoiler for OP lyrics.:
I don't think I need to say what DT means. The funniest part is when Mariandel says "Shall I help you?" after the "I want to be a man" line. |

Damn, I watch this without knowing what the hell is Ixion Saga and thought this is just a commercial for the game and what I got is a comedy anime written and directed by Gintama staff
Well, I really enjoying this anime and going to see the rest of this. And holy shit, that DT OP. |

I have to say that the artwork (other than the character that asked for that favor perhaps) is pretty unappealing.. the humor is flat.. and the plot is predictable. It’s hilariously lame which makes it even better than if it were trying to be serious. Though I’m just wondering if anyone who gets transported into another world would be a complete idiot.
Maybe I dont have enough Otaku vocabulary but what did Kon mean when he didnt want to die without getting “DT”‘d? Did I hear that right? |

He/She/It comes with boobs to boot, I can't brain that
Also, I think I'm sold on this show. It's Takuya Eguchi and so far his roles are pretty cool with me. And I spent the entire episode laughing when he speaks. There are more shows airing tonight (waiting for Sakurasou), but for now this takes my major interest for the season. ... No wonder I was able to laugh a lot for this show, it's the work of Gintama's director. Enjoyed his job on Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou. I'm looking forward to more this season I suppose (and say hello once more to serious moods broken by comedic gimmicks).

Btw, young Asemu meets Zeheart again, and this time Zeheart takes the fall.(VA Joke.) When you have directors like him, it means its time to hit the road hard... and funny... Nice episode, looking forward to it.

I kind of just wandered into watching this show while surfing an anime site because I was bored. I took a quick glance at the summary and that's about it. So like 10 minutes or so in when the trap speaks I thought my sound was screwed up or something. Then he did it again and I was like "WTF is this?!"
...I feel so cheated. Which I suppose was the point. |

Other thing to like about the hero: his dog priest-like sense of right and wrong.
And he was funny when he asked the princess "could it be you're really strong?". |
