I've seen suggestions that she, or her agency, took it down to avoid having the site become a target for angry, or worse, postings from bozo fanbois.

Given the description as an "official" fanclub, this was also my first thought - then I looked at the shutdown post and realized it links her twitter.

I do hope that Rie Tanaka and Kouichi Yamadera do find all the happiness and children they wish for in this new marriage. I don't know how well seiyuu marriages do as a whole on average--does anyone know?

If they do invite their seiyuu friends to the wedding party, I bet they'll be no shortage of well-wishers. How about the entire 501st Joint Fighter Wing from Strike Witches? That'd be a lot of witches to toss the bouquet for!

i take anything Sankaku say with a big handful of salt. Sankaku is a troll site not a news site.

Kawaragi, who has been on leave (reason why that umbrella girl was voiced by someone else) has given birth to a healthy baby girl.
And it seems that she was given birth on the same birthday as Sekai! Wow!

Ah... School Days was good... Until *beep*-in Overflow screwed everything up and they finally died. Serves them right... *beep*

School days was good but I'd rather remember her role as Cheria than her role as Sekai. Gives me a happier feeling.

Good news nonetheless for her and her child.

I hope she's not superstitious. Otherwise, that could be taken as a bad omen.

From the way she writes it, it seems she doesn't take it as a bad omen. (*shakes fist at anti-Sekai side*)
But maybe she should tell her daughter to avoid men named "Makoto"

More wedding bells, this time Shizuka Itoh. Maybe Nabatame should consider it is time for her to go back to dating like her H-VN prime days.

And sometimes I wonder why Japan didn't legalized same sex marriage, this will appeal so well to the Otaku and Fujoshi.

Great! I wish her all the happiness in the world, if her work is anything to go by, she's certainly earned it.

I was just thinking about her too, she's keeping really busy this season. She's in Psycho-Pass (albeit in a pretty minor role), the lead, Koko, in Jormungand, and of course she's returning as the ever-lovable Hinagiku in Hayate no Gotoku's third season. (Her performance is one of the few reasons to tune in to the the last one.)

I got a bit of a soft-spot for her, Hinagiku in Hayate's original season was one of my first (albeit unknowingly at the time) encounters with moe.

Happy for her as well, I think the first role I've heard her do was Morishima Haruka from Amagami. Been a fan of her since.

That's a wonderful role as well, and one that I feel her voice was absolutely perfect for. Almost like it was tailor-made to suit her.

Easily my favorite character from the series. She made her lovely indeed!

The first role that made me really notice Shizuka Itou is a fairly obscure one -Sinon Kouzuki in Starship Operators. That was one of my favorite shows when I was getting into anime back around 2005 or so.

Voice actor rankings of 2012, Sawashiro takes the top for woman. I'd expect nothing less from my favorite.

http://yaraon.blog109.fc2.com/blog-entry-13371.html

http://anime.biglobe.ne.jp/userranking/cast/39865/

Lets see, I'm working with google translator so this may be tough but the top 10 are:

1. Sawashiro Miyuki(Kokoro Connect-Inaba Himeko)
2. Hanazawa Kana (Inu x Boku SS-Roromiya Karuta)
3. Tomatsu Haruka (Sword Art Online-Yuuki Asuna)
4. Asumi Kana (Haiyore! Nyaruko-san-Nyaruko)
5. Hikasa Youko (Highschool DxD-Rias Gremory)
6. Toyosaki Aki (To Love-Ru Darkness-Momo Belia Deviluke)
7. Takagaki Ayahi (Tari Tari-Sakai Wakana)
8. Kayano Ai (Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo-Shiina Mashiro)
9. Uchida Maaya (Sankarea-Sanka Rea)
10. Fukuen Misato (Smile Precure-Hoshizora Miyuki/Cure Happy)

I see that neither of her recent adult performances, as Mine Fujiko in the Lupin III remake nor as Itou Serika in Space Brothers, elicit much appreciation from the otaku. Since I do not watch shows like Kokoro Connect, I cannot compare Sawashiro's performance there with either of these. However having just listened to her remarkably well-modulated work in this week's SB episode, where she moves seamlessly between an 11-12 year-old voice and that of a woman in her twenties, I find it hard to believe voicing a moe schoolgirl is Sawashiro's best performance of 2012. Fujiko is a complex, mature character, and Sawashiro's voicing of this part is top-notch as well.

I can't say that Bamboo Dong's review of Kokoro at ANN makes me want to watch that series either, despite having Sawashiro as a main character.

Looking at that list, are there any adult characters among them?
