Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth (3DS)
This was being discussed in the Persona 5 thread, but arguably deserves a thread of its own.
As detailed here, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth will be released in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS on the 5th of June 2014. Kind of wish it was dual-platform on both 3DS and Vita, though.

I seriously need to pick up a 3DS at some point .
Seems like it could be decent enough. Though I feel bad for this game being the first thing out of the gate on that livestream. A lot more "the hell!?" reactions than being excited .

It's been established through "word of god" that the P3 FeMC isn't canon while Theodore is. It's kind of odd but that's probably why she isn't here, though since this is an un-canon spin-off, I guess there isn't much reason they couldn't have included her.

Okay, I found out the names of the new characters, it's "Zen" and "Rei". I'm assuming the former is the dude while the latter is the lass.
Anyway, not sure I'll get this game since dungeon crawling gameplay was never something I've been terribly fond of, and it seems that'll be the major focus in this one. Will probably watch a playthrough or something regardless though.

Don't know or care enough about Persona to play a Labyrinth game that uses their characters.
So hurry up and focus on Etrian Odyssey 5, not this~ Besides, all of the Persona games were on the PS consoles, so why not the Vita? Because most people have bought the 3DS = Persona fans also having a 3DS = More consumers on the 3DS?

Because in Japan, there are more people buying handheld consoles than home consoles. 3DS was cheaper and more bought in general than PSV. More than that, there is also the development cost that you have to remember. PSV's would be higher than 3DS and home consoles are crazily high cost. Even with the revenue from SMTIV, you still have to remember that Atlus' parent company had recently gotten bankrupt and had been acquired by... Sega, wasn't it?
The point is that right now they are in a weak position and can't take big risks. The choice of platform and new Persina game was taken in consideration of that, the cost, and the revenues.

Honestly, I'm more interested in this rather than P5 at the moment (mostly because there aren't any gameplay footage for p5 at the moment). Also it's a dungeon crawling game so I'm up for it
oh and can't forget Marie is in it too w
