Actually, it feels like that all of the tokimeki designs are nods to Itachi's (the manga artist) style.

About the episode, the scuffles outside the game felt way toned down and where quickened up compared to the novel (or manga), though the ingame parts where very different compared to the original, but the "new and radical" feeling wasn't bad. Specially when Niku started to imagine herself and the rest of the club in the game.

Yozora not having a buchikire face in her final scene of the episode was a huge minus to the episode, bleh.

I'm using Semoponume as nick in some old games, but of course.

Haha, I know. Everything except for her arrogance is perfect basically, which is why Yozora is her perfect foil.

Throughout the whole Monster Hunter part of the episode I just kept asking myself "Why don't they play a fighting game? It's obviously so much more suited for them since it involves socializing whilst beating the shit out of each other."

Anyway, this episode was entertaining enough. I'm just disappointed I'll never come across a girl like Sena with such a passion for gaming in reality.

Btw, I can't be the only one who noticed that the spectacle-wearing heroine was a reference to Nagato Yuki of Haruhi am I?

Wow, this episode was very nostalgic for me. I used to be a big Monster Hunter gamer and all those little pranks Yozora and Sena did was exactly what I did sometimes to my friends.

I made a big smile when I saw Yozora drop that barrel next to Sena.

Hmm, who would of thought that both girls really seem into gaming, but Sena is like totally hardcore.

The ante was upped in every way from the first episode. More comedy, more edge, more service, more metahumor. This was more in line with what I was expecting from Haganai.

I wonder - is those one of those series were everyone has to pick one or the other, like Rei or Asuka? If so, put me down as a Sena supporter all the way. But as for Yozora - was she wearing panties at 13:22? Sure didn't look like it...

This ep made me want to go back play MH but I remembered I finished all the elder quests and I don't feel like playing all the HR alone >_> nobody here in the third world seems to have a psp D=

Not enough crazy faces or Evil-Eyed shouting

I've somehow imagine Yozora and Sena should be more unhinged as the monster hunter game slow turns into a fighting game, or when their favor girl abandon them because of another girl's badmouthing

Mah~ If people like Sena now, the next episode looks like it would solidify their allegiance to her... YOU ALL SHOULD JUST LET HER STEP ON YOU! AHAHAHAHAHHHHHH!!!!

Compared to the manga which has more hilarious over-the-top comical reaction and expression, the anime was less funny, but we got detailed game scenes and more fan service (dat Haganai logo on Sena's breast! XD) in exchange XD

And so Yukimura and Kobato fans have to wait longer with the rearrange order

the library girl (Nagata Yukiko) is definitely a reference to Nagato Yuki.

I thought the funniest part of the episode was the Kodaka asking for stuff in the classroom. The rest was kind of meh and Kodaka definitely has to be thick skinned to put up with both of them...
