I like them! You took a different approach than I did and I like the "artistic" look better than what I made. I also like the second one more, as the white border fits the theme better and the words (IMHO) need to be "blurred" a little bit (kinda like what I did in my Caster banner nomination) -- just enough to soften the hard edges (in photoshop elements, I used the outer glow layer style with simple selected at 13 pixels).

heh thats a really difficult scene to try and turn into a gif...its just too long to fit in a 100pix square

nice effort on something i gave up trying lol...
