Has anyone been reading the Hitohira manga?

I decided to pick it up after the anime ended. It was pretty worth it, in my opinion.

To note, volumes 1-3 and half of 4 covers the anime. After that is where it gets interesting, as all material afterwards were not seen in the anime.

Too bad it takes so long for a new volume to come out...

I despair in the fact that it took almost a year to release a new volume!

This volume was a bit slow, but then again, this is Hitohira and the pace fits. Regardless, it's been more than half a year since I read this, so it was nostalgic in general to read stuff like "Mugi-choco". Feel sorry the Drama Club had to skip golden week for practice. Mah, basically the main event of the volume was just preparation for the next play. There was a (cross-dressing) play at the beginning, but the latter events were more important. After all, Mugi, who had only planned to work backstage, volunteered to act in the play itself! And in an audition against Chitose, she won too! What's more, the personality of the character she auditioned for is opposite of hers. Though before then, it took convincing from Kyousuke, Chitose, and a letter from Kayo. Good job, Mugi! Also, Kyousuke gets focus too. Turns out that despite Mugi in a higher grade, he's older. Had to redo a grade because of truancy... And he manages to HUG Mugi at the very end of the volume and ask her how she feels about him! Stupid cliffhanger... In the meantime, Chitose x Kai becomes open up for possibility in this volume (though it is still one-sided from Chitose). Oh, and it seems Tamaki is slowly starting to act like Mirei...
