I thought I heard that, too, but her behavior in the first episode made me wonder.

I was younger than these girls (10-12) when I would go out on my uncle's boat, but I would never have been let aboard if I didn't wear a life jacket.

It was really nice of the girls to hold a little wedding for their parents, letting them know that they are ok with it. You don't need to hold a big wedding to prove your love and you can't top anything after having their daughters doing something like this.

Yeah, that was pretty nice. I had been waiting for the show to explore the rearranged family topic once again. I'd like to see the girls bonding with their respective new parent, there was a little bit of that with Koharu and Hiyori's mom in this episode but not enough.

Not being an Aoi fan I was glad to see the show focus back on Hiyori and Kohaku and their families.

I thought Hiyori's dad ditching work and rushing over because his daughter had a cold was exaggerated but then I remembered he's lost a child. That would certainly make anyone overprotective.

I expected them to do more with the aloof grandpa who secretly dotes on his grandchild.

Well with Koharu getting sick Hiyori is starting to learning how to cook from her Grandma

I figure it's the things Koharu figures one could be worried about when fishing. One wouldn't likely be fishing for things in the aphotic zone, so it makes sense she's trying to shock people with things like fish-borne parasites one may encounter.
