This is kinda silly but, are we close to having a season 2 yet? or OVA at least?
There's still lots to cover and Ayano hasn't even begin her relationship with Kazuma

not likely, the author is still recovering from his treatment for leukemia last i heard. And as for existing material the anime covered for vol 1 to vol 5 of the novel with some of the episode covering some of the side story novels. As it stands right now their is only one volume of the main story arc novel not covered and 3 or 4 volumes worth of side story. Not enough to start another season. But the side stories does cover alot more about kazuma and ayano's relationship plus some side character development and new important future plot character like Kazuma's senpai is introduced. and of course more stuff about kazuma's past is revealed and etc. All very interesting stuff but not enough to carry a solid season although some of the side stories are good OVA material. But any of this is unlikely to happen any time soon.

yah, all we can do know is hope the author gets well soon and continue the story. For now the only way to know what happened after the anime if to read the novels which are only in Japaneses and Chinese last i checked . If you can't read the Novels i noticed there are some spoilers of future and past events mentioned on the wikipedia article on kaze no stigma although its not much.

Yeah hopefully the author will be alright. For us will just have to remain curious about what may happen in the future.

It'd be unfortunate if it ends like Trinity Blood. All the best, I hope the author gets well, not only for the story for just for him as well.

The series was pretty good, ya know. The filler-type episodes definately put more support on the relationship between Ayano and Kazuma.
The filler episodes were actually nicley used in my opinion.
The ending was more or less good.

I'd think there will be a second season sooner or later. I guess it just depends on the how fast the materials are coming out from the original source.

the fillers worked well because they were actually mostly based on the side stories novels. There were not that much original material although the director took some liberties here and there that novels readers like me felt he shouldn't have.l

wow, it's been quite awhile since I posted in the KnS thread D:

for all you guys who want to see a glimpse of the manga, which already ended with the Misao arc (this makes me a sad bunny, I want the ignition volumes, at least!!), you can go check out this bandwidth-unfriendly KnS manga review of mine.

I'm hoping and praying for the best of the writer, he said it was such a shame that all the great KnS happenings (the anime and manga adaptations of his novel, in particular) happening whilst he was confined in the hospital due to his sickness

Still feel pretty bad for that author. All this great stuff happening surrounding his series and has to stay in the hospital. Though if he was healthy sure he would have given Gonzo a working over regarding what they did wrong with Kaze no Stigma.

Was a great entry about the manga and sad that it only lasted through the Misao arc.

Actually, the manga just finished. It stopped somewhere half of the anime series, which was really surprising. The manga was so much better, with him so more GAR and her so much cuter.

there are quite a few light novel authors that are both good and willing to take over for him. But even if that were to happen then it will be like Trinity Blood all over again.
At least at the moment things seem to look good for the author so lets not get our hopes up.

Well obviously want the guy who started the story to finish it. So will just be hoping for his recovery since have no specifics on the situation. Will just have to be patient and hopefully one day there will be another season of Kaze no Stigma to talk about.
