Such a heart warming chapter focusing around a lost kitten. Dotty's line about wanting to be the kitten's Pikari was seriously adorable. So cute.

Woah, president Aria ! I've always thought it looked a lot like him. Except, this one has a tail. Dotty was simply adorable in this chapter, as always <3

Dotty's first dive was captured very nicely, especially thanks to her inner dialgoue which came across as classic Amano all around. Especially like the first few chapters with Dotty in the forest. Felt like we were magically taken into another world (Amano does have that touch). Shame it couldn't go on for long, though that isn't what this title is about.

Not much to add afer this, classic Amano.

So they named the other cat "Hime", meaning president Aria finally got her! Kind of. Dotty-chin was totally adorable in this chapter ("Mr Fish!" ). Well, she's always adorable actually. I can't wait to see the rest of the dive.

For some reason, I kept thinking how much I would love an anime adaptation for Amanchu! when reading this chapter. If it ever happens, I want the seiyuus to be the same as in Aria.

fantastic chapter. the part where they were in the water was absolutely magical. i thought Katori was drawn nude in one of the panels.. haha. the art was purposefully line-artish, and it looked great.

Chapter 17 was lovely... and yes, Kozue Amano seems to enjoy drawing shapely women, and pays great attention to it. It's one of the things I enjoy about her art - she obviously loves what she draws, and puts a lot of effort and detail into her work. Although Katori-sensei reminds me more of a much bustier Akira... and one who smiles more. Not that I'm complaining about it, but it's something that struck me more than usual about this chapter.

makes you want to try scuba diving. :P

Oh GOD, but Katori-sensei and Ninomiya Ai... Kozue Amano loves drawing attractive young women, and even if this cover was a means to attract readers via fanservice... I love it. But then again, this "Ai-chan" fills out swimsuits very well.

Also, the polka-dots work well on Pikari, and Dotty full-heartedlt smiling is... cute beyond words.

Amano-sensei isn't feeling well, so the next release will be in the October issue. Damn. Hope she recovers soon.

Since there is already a date set for the next chapter, I'm not too worried. I hope she'll get well soon enough to enjoy the summer.

In the meantime, I'm really going to miss the manga, but at least, she left us with that fantastic cover to drool over

That was without a doubt the best chapter of the series so far for me. Dotty's dialogue was very magical, and just what i'd expect from Amano. There's just so much love and care with each sentence. Not to mention the amount of super adorable smiles from Dotty which seriously melt your heart.

Such a shame we have to wait until October for the next chapter, though Amano's health comes first. I hope she get's better soon.
