Technically I don't think the magazines were Miyuki's since Kei just threw everything into his room. I would assume the panties were just Kei's dirty laundry, and the magazines were Papa's.

He really should have, but to be fair it doesn't sound like the siblings have been close at all recently.

I imagine it depends on your definition of "close". It's been made very clear repeatedly that they do truly love each other a great deal. Miyuki's always been concerned for her and tried to protect her. And Kei really does love and respect Miyuki, but she's really proud and unwilling to admit it. She's a pretty bad tsundere, that's all. That's why when pressured she has to admit how kind and caring he is. So they love each other a lot, but Kei is too embarrassed to allow their relationship to be "too" close. But that's only Kei; Miyuki's always seemed willing and happy to be close with Kei. I'd guess he was too busy and just kind of forgot.

So the reason Kei admires Kaguya so much is that the latter gave her very valuable advice, advice that convinced her to run away from her mom and go back to her dad and brother. Kaguya has forgotten all about it though.

That very advice is likely related to what Kaguya is about to tell Miyuki: she won't go to Stanford.

Haven't read it yet so can't say my take, but if that is indeed what's going to happen...

It would in a way be kind of fitting. Specifically it would sort of play in to Miyuki's take on the tale of Kaguya-hime. He said he saw the gift of elixir of immortality not as a parting gift or a desire to have him not die but rather as a sort of "I'll always wait for you", and then declaring that if "Kaguya" left for the moon like that then he'd find a way to reach her, no matter how long it took. Could be that she'll follow her own path closer to home and somewhat within the bounds of her family's control waiting for him to find a way to take her back, while he would spend his time at Stanford working to reach a point where he could face down the entire forces of the Shinomiya family to do just that.

If it's similar to Kei, wouldn't it be more likely that Kaguya also runs away from the Shinomiya estate to live together with Miyuki?

I came across a different translation and the line was completely different. Better to wait for a Japanese to English translation.

It's out now.

I stand by my previous stance. The whole chapter seems like it's hinting that Kaguya will be temporarily leaving her Shinomiya estate to live with the Shiroganes. Not only does the advice Kei talked out line up with it, but so does that fact that Kaguya was able to not only visit their household on her own, but also sleep over despite everyone being aware that the Shinomiya family is keeping strict tabs on her.

It's strange that Kaguya has the family's permission to do this, unless she never had their permission and decided to go off on her own. Before this, even Hayasaka mentioned that generally the only real privacy Kaguya got was when she was inside the Student Council room. Why would she risk doing this unless she was willing to go all the way out?

I'm more curious on Miyuki's mom.. so far it looks like she is pictured badly but I believe there are more stories about her
