Kirito fought them properly, he just didn't go into full "rage against the world" (or whatever you want to call it ) mode, because he didn't need to. It was still 2 against 30, and they still inflicted massive casualties and held them off for long enough for the Sleeping Knights to break through.

Actually, with how this episode ended at the point covered in the LN, there's still lots more to the story than what they'll likely reveal next episode. There's still 3 more episodes left afterall.

I will say props to Kirito and Klein for making that big effort to buy time. They didn't win, but they did their job. It just seemed very fitting that Klein also showed up to help. Seems like the kind of thing he'd be up for.

I noticed that when the remaining members entered the boss room, there were like 5 of them. That means Klein and Kirito took on 30 something people at once and left them with only THAT many?

Excellent fight animation scenes, esp Kirito blocking the magic and Yuuki weaving and snaking in and out between the 20 or so in front of the Boss Room doors.

I also find Yuuki an excellent character, perhaps even more interesting than Sinon (who was great) and it is nice to see Asuna more and more in the spotlight in this arc.

Is obvious there is a whole lot more backstory going on with the Sleeping Knights, though. Looking forward to seeing the story continue to play itself out.

Bro, Asuna was so fuckin awesome! With her back flips and dash attacks and magic wand shit. Man, I fuckin love her. Yuuki's fighting was legitimately legit as well; she's got moves.

But what's with the crying and gloomy vibes?? Goddammit, I don't need this right now. ;__;

That Yuuki swordplay. I reckon that's 50% of the animation budget there. You can see that in a few instances, the art wasn't fully-done yet. (Thank you Shirobako)

Looks like drama incoming. Most likely the rest of the series. We haven't yet see how Asuna will put Yuuki's words into action with her mother yet too.

Also just realized that apparently The Berserk Healer is actually something Asuna is known as throughout the game rather than just a nickname Kirito cam up with

I said this at the beginning of the arc and I'll say it again now.

Mother's Rosario is hands down the best arc of SAO (in my opinion, of course).

My expectations were already high knowing the story beforehand, and they've yet to disappoint. In fact, the show is exceeding them.

Last episode, we saw that Asuna joined their guild, as indicated by the icon next to her name.

This episode, we see that she did not in fact join their guild.

Referring back to the book, it doesn't seem like Asuna joins their guild for the raid either... So what's up with the inconsistency?

guess she got the status for the boos fight the previous chapter...but she does not have it at the monument like the other ones in this one....guess it is a inconsistency

It was Asuna joining a party as opposed to joining a guild. The guild emblem shouldn't be there in the anime.
