Only Death Busters arc (S arc from original series) is confirmed so far.

Well, if they're changing the director and character designer, then I might try to get back into this. No expectations though. It's Toei after all.

And isn't Neptune's hair way too long?
Too lazy to pull out my manga, but I'm pretty sure her hair was always that length.

Yeah, looking at some manga scans, her hair was that long. It was shorter in the original anime.

I didn't remember, since it's been a long time since I last read the manga... but I've watched the anime again recently (while watching crystal) so I have the anime looks in my head now.

It seems I am the only one who enjoyed Crystal at least a bit... I get it is not as the old series but I think it is not as bad as everyone seems to think ^__^

It had its moments, but... it just didn't seem like the reboot of such a beloved series. A big complaint was that it seemed like the animation was really lazy and low-budget at times.

That's totally true... I really liked the old series animation a lot more, and it is 20 years older... Yes, this is "cleaner" but even so, the previous one seemed better for me. What I really am grateful for, is for the lack of filling, I didn't remember how much were in the old series until I watched it again (specially on Super S)

SuperS was hideous, but at that point they should have ended the series.
My main issue with Crystal (aside the horrible production quality) is the general adherence to the manga, which I strongly disliked.

True. Though one thing Crystal taught me was that filler isn't necessarily bad . Bad filler is, but you can also use it to expand and develop characters. Crystal was like a rocket that just wanted to get through the story as soon as it could .

Yeah, I agree with that. It could have had a bit of filling to have a breather, but I guess it was very difficult to include SM and SMR in 24 episodes and having some moments to develop the characters...

As long as I can see Saturn moving, I'm happy. Also she is the only Sailor who didn't get a proper transformation sequence in the old series, so I really wish she can finally have one now, even if it's full CG.

People already judging aka bitching about Uranus design even though she is a character on the background.

That doesn't look so bad, and Hotaru doesn't look ugly as hell. Good stuff.

I have more of a problem with Neptune's design than Uranus'.

Does "BG" mean background? Because Neptune is the character closest to the foreground...
