Episode 2
Rin-san sure is a bitch. Wakaba saves her sister and does nothing threatening, but, just because she thinks she's human and doesn't believe he is, she continuously tries to exterminate him. Wakaba is obviously the only real human, but I have no idea what all the sisters are. Mutants of some kind, apparently. Humans don't keep talking if half of their head is blown away. Humans can't live if they don't eat anything. Which reminds me, what is keeping Wakaba alive? I doubt Rin-san will eve let him have any water.
But the most ridiculously stupid thing about the episode is that, if Rin-san is so distrustful of Wakaba and thinks he's still a threat, why bring him along with them to the next island? Why not just leave him tied up somewhere on the island so he can just starve to death? Anime logic at its finest... I really like the art and animation, but Rin-san sure is a downer. |

Watched episode 1 and 2:
Post apocalyptic world setting. Ok, feels just right with a group trying to survive. Rin a big sister to the plant lolis who look alike. Hakaba would have been ok, but it's just his constant "eeeeh" "eeeh" is getting into my ears. 6/10 for first 2 episodes

Watched episode 3:
This is getting better. Some nice character development for Rin and Wakaba. Also the lolis are starting to become nice. Worried about neko nee-san, she looks tired. And lastly, I like the mood and background soundstrack. Really a post-apocalyptic vibe in the environment.

Well, I like the whole post-apocalyptic vibe and setting, and the animation as well, but character development? Are you kidding? Rin is still the same bitch towards Wakaba and he's still a moron-level ignoramus, and the lolis, as you call them, are getting more sadistic towards Wakaba. The episode as a whole was pretty boring. We haven't learned anything new about what this place is or why the girls think they are human, which they clearly are not. Which reminds me, if they've never seen human man before, how do they know that he's a guy? The whole "I don't trust you" schtick is getting pretty old, too. It's been three episodes now and, other than being human, Wakaba hasn't done a single thing to cause Rin not to trust him. Quite the contrary, his demeanor and actions have only proven that he is trustworthy. |

I'm enjoying this show. it's revealing its mystery to us slowly, piece by piece, and I appreciate that. |

So, we get more information this week. It appears that the girls may be some sort of plant-based humanoids. Whether everyone in this world was like that, or if they were special, remains unclear. But since the only other person in the world died right when the girls were born, they lack any knowledge of things like that.
Also, that ED gives me a bad feeling. I don't want to see anyone else in it burst into leaves and vanish...
