What is that bizzare thing Nafoumi is doing? I've never seen him do that facial expression before.......does anybody know what that is? *shudders* I think I took SAN damage from that.

I'd honestly like to know myself......

Edit: Checked one peace book's website. (The company who's handling the US release of the series) and they don't have volume 9 on their website yet. I assume this means it isn't actually released yet. Apparently Oct 17 just didn't work out. Mind you, this is all my observations so it's not like what I just typed is anything official.

I went ahead and called them yesterday, the distributor they have on the site actually, and asked them whats up. They actually don't know. There's a set of books they're suppose to receive to start distributing to amazon and all the others but they haven't gotten them yet for some reason. They don't know why or when it will come or if Shield Bro is part of that set, just that it's suppose to be "soon".

F*ck, I just got done with a midterm and was hoping to relax with the epic climax of this arc but I guess that's not happening..

I got an email from B&N saying vol 9 was delayed and they have no idea when its coming out. One peace also doesn't have any announcements about a delay on their website.

I guess vol 10 won't be out in December either.

really? cuz mine still hasn't. In fact, it says they're out of stock now and they pushed the release date back to the 15th. Worse so, different sites have different release dates now.

Mine is going to arrive today. I did preorder it months ago, maybe amazon just got an extremely limited stock and my order just happened to be one that was filled.

So. Been a long time since I got back here, and seems the others got volume 9 too.

So 2 questions:

1st one for those who read the latest LN volume, any theories on what the wrath shield skill Megiddo Burst is based on. Note that Naofumi did not use it, it showed up though.

Edit: I feel stupid, google san has told me it basically means Rage Burst

Well, I'd guess that it's not one of the torture weapon series judging by the name. I'm guessing it'd probably drive his wrath to the limit and unleash a blast of condensed cursed flames. The shield's basic attack is cursed black flames and megiddo is normally the name of an almighty type attack so it should be somewhere around there.

For those who don't play the appropriate game series, an almighty type attack is essentially a non elemental attack.

Ja, it was just released around...November? New release of the officially translated LNs does take a while.

Just read all 9 of them myself a few weeks ago. The LNs has really become its own but all the new content (plus all the quality LN artworks) are interesting as well.
