Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Sara Part 12 (end-game spoilers):
-Hokuto sees Sora, and he asks her if Sara's okay. After she says she is, Hokuto suddenly notices his right arm is in a cast. Sora explains it's for the wounds he suffered from that explosion, and You put it on him.
-Hokuto looks back on the pendant, and wonders why it's there, as he dropped it in the Maintenance Room. He asks Sora why it's here, and she says Tsugumi brought it. He wonders why, and Sora remarks the hologram pendant is strange. -She explains the hologram has a specific light frequency that is normally impossible for humans to see. She then goes into her explanation from the original about how it's infrared light, and that Hokuto and Sara can see it because it must be something in their genes. -Sora says she used the LEM-ARV to examine their DNA map, and came to the conclusion that Hokuto and Sara are siblings. When he hears that, Hokuto hears the full scream from his dream on the 5th: "Onii-chan!" Her voices echoes twice. -In that instant, images come flooding through him, and he screams. He regains most of his memories, and they swallow him up. We see the image of a beach at what appears to be just before sunset, with a rock formation and lighthouse visible. The words of the lullaby scroll again. -Hokuto wonders where he heard that lullaby for the first time, and he realizes it was when he and Sara were still "one". When they were young, they were placed in a facility, where they were trained in combat, how to handle weapons, how to creation tools of destruction, how to steal, how to send communications, how to hack, etc... all to become agents, Leiblich's dogs. -It was for their infrared vision and physical and mental capabilities, all which were perfect to become agents. Day after day was harsh, but they endured it because they were together. -He has a flashback of younger Sara asking him, "Onii-chan, it doesn't hurt?" Hokuto says he's all right now, and it doesn't hurt. It's after Sara slashed his left arm. Sara starts crying and apologizing, saying it's her fault. Hokuto assures her it's all right. He also remarks at how Sara was afraid of water. -Another flashback. Hokuto asks Sara to sing the lullaby, as she still remembered it even though the one who taught it to her was gone. Sara agreed, took out the pendant, which Hokuto remarks was hers from the start. She would look at the pendant and sing. The song would put Hokuto at ease, but Sara would cry when she sang it. He embraced her afterwards. At that time, he swore to protect Sara, and that they'd always be together. -Sara agreed, and Hokuto remarked how those words kept him going. But one day, he couldn't keep his promise. One day, they were constructing bombs, but Sara made a mistake. Hokuto shouted, "look out!", confusing Sara. -The bomb went off, and Hokuto protected Sara. He was injured by the blast, and bled. As he lost consciousness, he saw Sara screaming "Onii-chan!", as he remarks that he was glad she was safe. -He told her he was fine. But he was too badly injured by the explosion to be of any use to Leiblich, so he was released from the facility. Not a day after that went by when he didn't think of Sara, as he couldn't stop thinking about how she alone was still trapped in that nightmare. He felt extreme guilt from being unable to keep his promise. He fell into despair. -One day, a woman in a white lab coat appeared to him. She then said: You"haru": "Hey, you. What do you think about helping me with my research? You might be able to find that which you've lost." -Hokuto joined You"haru". We then get very brief flashes to what appears to be a lab and something that resembles a nucleus. He then can see the moon. Just then... Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Sara Part 13 (end-game spoilers):
-Sara calls for Hokuto, still calling him "Kid". She expresses relief that he's all right. Hokuto says, "Sara... so that was it." and apologizes to her for not remembering up until now. She's confused, and Hokuto says thanks to Sora, he now remembers that she's his sister. Sara says, "That's wrong... that's wrong, that's wrong, that's wrong..."
(Didn't this conversation go the other way around in the original?) -Sara shouts that Hokuto isn't her brother, and goes running off. Hokuto figures she feels guilt and hatred towards him for breaking his promise. He then goes running out. As he exits, he remembers the image of Sara at the door. He remembers Sara once saying there's no hope in the world. -He thinks how while he was freed from that nightmare, Sara's still been walking through it. That's why she can't forgive him. He curses himself. He thinks about how he ran away from Sara and his past, and he might have lost his memories to forget about his guilt. -He stops running and thinks that if Sara's the one running away from him this time. Upset, he punches the wall, and says he doesn't want to break his promise twice, how he doesn't want to feel that way again, so he doesn't care if Sara hates him or doesn't forgive him. He came here to fulfill that promise, and that's why he's here. -He shouts Sara's name. At that instant, LeMU is rocked by what appears to be an explosion. The alarm goes off. Kaburaki appears to Hokuto, and tells him to follow him, saying he's found an escape route, and there's no time. -Hokuto asks about the others, and Kaburaki says Sora is contacting the others, and everyone is using the emergency staircase. Hokuto is confused, saying they shouldn't be able to use those, but Kaburaki tells him to hurry, that there's really no time. -Everyone converges at the stairs, Sara amongst them. Hokuto thinks to himself that he'll end the nightmare for her. He remembers Sara pointing the gun at Tsugumi, but thinks how Tsugumi saved Sara and went all the way back to get the pendant, and that Tsugumi may have become their strength. -Just then, Hokuto realizes Tsugumi isn't there. He asks Kaburaki, who says Tsugumi's escaping via a different route. Hokuto wonders why she's the only one doing that. You also questions Sora why they can use the emergency stairs now when they were unusable earlier. Sora says, "Umm, that's..." Kaburaki joins in with You, but Sora says they really need to hurry. -You agrees, and tells Kaburaki to hurry. Sora tells them that a great deluge is occuring, which is why they have to get out. The group climbs the stairs, but just before they reach the top, You shouts that Sara's gone. The same conversation from the original plays out until the lights go out. Kaburaki is about to go back for Sara, but Hokuto says he has to do it. -He says up until now, he's been running from his past and guilt, and so he can't run now. Kaburaki tells him to go, saying they'll meet again on the surface. You begs him to save Sara. Hokuto then turns back down the stairs while swearing that he will save Sara. -Hokuto reaches Drittestock, but doesn't know where to look. Sora appears to him, and says on the last life scan, Sara was in the Infirmary, but it's flooded now, though there's another path there. Sora marks the path for him. After he thanks her, she and the lights suddenly fade. (Basically, this is a mirror of Takeshi and Tsugumi's situation) Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Sara Part 14 (end-game spoilers):
-Hokuto swims up, and finds Sara clutching the pendant. When she asks what he's doing, he repeats their promise. Sara keeps insisting Hokuto isn't her brother. He says that's fine, but they'll still be together, even if she hates him and can't forgive him. She still says "no!" When he reaches her arm out, she turns it around her back.
Sara: " (crying) No... Onii-chan... I don't hate you... I just don't want you to get wrapped up in this... I don't want you to go back to that place..." -Hokuto realizes Sara also wanted to protect him. He then twists his arm back. He repeats his vow, and says they need to go and that he will definitely protect Sara this time. She agrees with him. -They head for the emergency staircase. Suddenly, a strange wind blows by them. Hokuto tells her they need to turn back, and shuts the hatch just before a large wave of water can engulf them. Sara reminds him they still need to head for the staircase. -The hatch groans, and Hokuto realizes it won't hold. The twins run, but most of Drittestock is flooded by now, and they're in the water. Hokuto asks Sara if she's all right, and Sara says yes, just a little cold. -Hokuto thinks there's nowhere to run. As he's thinking about what they can do, Sara smiles and tells him that she's not scared because she's with him. She then reminds him of their date (saying she fulfilled his wish of being like a normal girl for once), and tells him it was fun. (I thought the incest was supposed to be over by now...) -Just then, Hokuto remembers a place from their date. Choice time: The Lemurian Ruins or Qualle? Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Sara Part 15/Epilogue (Finale) (end-game spoilers):
-Hokuto remembers going to the Qualle. Sara read the pamphlet about how it travels in a tube underwater, and (I didn't mention this earlier) that it is middle-class buoyant, and that it works like the EI. He had asked if they could escape that way, but she said no, as long as there's no hole in the tube.
-Hokuto realizes they can use the Qualle to escape. They reach the Qualle, and Sara notes it's still moving. They get in, and start moving it, adn turn on the search lights. LeMU shakes, and so does the Qualle. As he'd hoped, the force of LeMU's intense shaking breaks the tube. -The Qualle breaks out and begins floating. They use the controls to watch their depth, and they begin climbing up. They get excited, and start congratulating each other for a job well done. (Hmm... you know, kids, I think your parents were in a situation like this once... isn't it too early to be patting each other's backs?) -Sara is surprised that the plan worked, and remarks they're saved. She then gives him the pendant, saying she wants him to have it, as it's now their treasure. Hokuto thanks her, and says they'll be together. (What? Why is the death flag counter beeping?) -Hokuto asks Sara when she realized he was her brother. She says from the time they went to repair the generator. When he enquires how, she says it's because she saw the scar she left on his arm. He thinks that despite it's origin, it's the proof that they were together. -Just then, Sara remarks that the depth meter isn't moving, and they're stuck at 63 meters (206.7 feet) "Karma" starts playing. Apparently, the Qualle is suffering from the results of the Archimedes principle- it's too heavy to keep climbing. -He then thinks of swimming, but thinks they'd never make it, since Sara can't swim well, his right arm is broken, and they're simply way too deep- it'd be suicide. He then apologizes to Sara. -New CG, the one we saw from You's Route- Sara is staring out the window of the Qualle. She tells Hokuto it's not his fault. With a sad voice, she says she's happy that she's together with him. -She says the real reason she returned the pendant to him was because she was only free in LeMU. She says while she was slightly restricted by communications from Leiblich and orders to observe Tsugumi, she was still free when she was with You and Hokuto. -She says she wanted to be there because she was free, and that if they went to the surface, they'd be separated again. Hokuto can't say anything. He embraces Sara, and they're wrapped in each other's warmth as the Qualle stays unmoving in the ocean... -Some time later, balls of light surround the Qualle. They're some kind of creatures, but I can't tell what they are. Just then, Sara notices they're rising. -Hokuto remembers speaking to Sora at the aquarium about a strange phenomenon with the moon- on full moon, scattered coral, that appear to blossom in the moonlight. -Hokuto and Sara hold each other's hands. They look at the scene in delight as they continue to rise towards the light. -End credits. -Epilogue. -Hokuto wakes up, and realizes he's on Insel Null, with no clue where he is. He can see a full moon and the stars. He realizes they've been saved. They also explain here why the Qualle was able to rise again, but I can't understand it. Hokuto then remembers how they got out of the Qualle and onto Insel Null. -Same descriptions from original up until he finishes looking around. After remembering Sora's words, he wonders where she is, and realizes she must have sunk with the facility. Just then, Sara wakes up. -The rest is word for word the same as the original except for the end monologue. "Just as there's one pendant, the two of us were able to become one again. I won't be separated from Sara ever again! I will absolutely protect Sara! Without fail! And then, we headed towards freedom. We held each other's hands..." Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Sara Bad Ending (end-game spoilers):
Not much to say about the Bad Ending. Hokuto just thinks of the Lemurian Ruins for too long, and as a result, when they try to escape via the Qualle, it gets slightly damaged and starts sinking at 63 meters, and Hokuto and Sara embrace each other while waiting for the end while Hokuto has a depressing monologue.

Spoiler for Ever 17:
So in the remake everbody becomes more evil; Sara and Hokuto were trained by Leibleich pretty much as assasins, You'Haru became involved in strange experiments and Yoichi Tanaka didn't care about his family. Somehow I hope all of this gets resolved in the final route, keep it up.

Spoiler for Ever17:
I still think Yoichi was forced to stay by Leiblich, we just haven't heard that part yet. After all, he still had a picture of You and asked them to take care of his daughter when he died.

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco (Kid's Side) Part 1 (end-game spoilers):
-Starting off from Hokuto's side. Plays out the same until the elevator scene, where You adds to her speech that everyone is connected by bonds, and that's why it's not weird for him to know Sara's name. She tells him there's no reason to be afraid of the known and unknown, since humans are only living in the moment. She also tells him her "smile at everything" belief.
-Fast forward up until the life reactions scan. The number finally stops at "6". You thinks the sensor's busted. Sora denies that, but Kaburaki says they should consider it a good thing, since 6 is how many of them there actually are. Hokuto wonders if it really is 6. Choice time: 6 or 8? -Hokuto says there's 8, though he doesn't know the reason why. Sara says it should be six, and counts everyone in the room. Hokuto then reveals Sora isn't really there. Rest of the scene is the same except they use "6" and "8" instead of "5" and "6". -You mentions the possibility of people in the water, and in that instant, the image of IBF flashes through Hokuto's mind. After conversations from the original, You suggests they relax, and Sara agrees. -Rest is the same until Coco shows up. We get the choice from the original. All stays the same until Hokuto says he'll stay with Coco. The words "Don't go anywhere" appear both on the screen and in the textbox, which has turned grey again, like in the Prologue. It then turns blue again. -Hokuto then wishes to stay by Coco, to not leave her alone. He wishes for that, and tells her that. She says, "Really? Then I'll be waiting..." and disappears. Kaburaki appears, and the conversation is the same. -Fast forward until the blackout. Hokuto thinks that Sora's gone because she's a Mirage creation. Then we get to Hokuto's choice between You and Sara, with a new one: everyone goes together. -Hokuto suggests that. You agrees, saying that if something happens, they'll all be together. They walk down the hallways, where Sara brings up the teacher with the robotic dog, and the same conversation from the original occurs, along with the fact that You's mom has a robot dog. -Hokuto decides to ask about their relationship. You says they she is the "Onee-sama", while Sara is her younger sister, and they have made a forbidden vow as "sisters". You: "Sara, your ribbon's crooked." Sara: "Onee-sama... We can't do it in a place like this..." (The rest is is the same "conversation" from You's Route) -The result is the same. They arrive at the shutter where the Cosmic Whale lies ahead. Sara knocks on it for fun. Either way, it's locked, so they can't go any further. They head back, when Hokuto hears Coco singing the lullaby. -Scene is the same from the original. When Coco disappears, Hokuto calls out her name, and tells her to come out. He runs around looking for Coco, saying he'll take her along. He thinks that he wants to save her. He keeps running around until he runs into the other three. -The game then repeats the scene from the original where Hokuto tells them he saw Coco, but no one believes him. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco (Kid's Side) Part 2 (end-game spoilers):
-When they're repairing the generator, Hokuto talks to You about Coco. You says it could have been an illusion like with Mirage, or just a reflection of light created by metamaterials. They get into talking about the Third Eye. They then finish repairs.
-Fast forward until Sora's talking about her existence after Kick the Can. She asks him to take out his earphones. Choice time- yes or no? -He does so, and Sora disappears. Where she was is now a white puppy. Hokuto urges the dog over, who licks his hand. He then notices Sora and the fish have disappeared. He puts back on the earphones, and Sora reappears, and talks more about her existence cannot be observed in that state. -She asks him if he's looked at the moon before, and though he has no memory of it, he thinks he's had to at least once. She asks if he's seen a full moon before, and he looks up, seeing the vague outline of the moon from underwater. She talks about the whole "does the moon exist when your/ you and the rest of the world's eyes are closed" discussion from the original. -At the end, as he looks up into the moon, Hokuto sees Coco as the moon, thinking she's also the same. As he leaves to go join the others, he realizes the white puppy has also disappeared. -He returns to the Staff Room, but no one's there, and so he figures they all already went to sleep. He takes a shower, gets a drink, and heads for the Decompression Room in order to get some sleep. -As he thinks about Coco, his memories suddenly flash between the CG of Sara in the elevator and the CG of Coco in the elevator. He wonders what that memory was of, and remembers You talking about how humans live in the moment. -He then has a vision of the boat CG from the epilogue, but Coco's the only one in it, and he can't tell it's a boat. He sees her smiling, but no matter how hard she stretches her hand, she can't touch him. -Textbox turns grey again. BW, in the darkness, wonders just where he is as the sound of a heartbeat echoes in the background. He then flashes back to Takeshi's perspective, where he thinks about how he got caught up in the incident. (switches to Takeshi's perspective. Textbox is still grey) -Actually, I'm not really going to talk about any changes in these segments, since I plan on covering Takeshi's version of the first three days some other time. I'll only do so if they happen after Day 4, so I'll just describe the main points of the scenes, then do in-depth summaries when I get to Takeshi's version. -Takeshi gives a Cliff Notes version of what happened from the start from when he saved Coco in the elevator up to after Kick the Can, where Sora asked him to do the same think she asked his son. -After that, Takeshi thinks about his relationships with the other characters. She showed Coco and Takeshi the picture of her father holding her as a baby. Like last time, Takeshi jokes if it's You's baby, earning him a punch. She tells him she's 18 and unmarried. (You still really shouldn't be talking...) -Also, instead of an album, You has a special digital photoframe that can hold several images at once. She plays them, and it ends on the image of You"aki" as a baby, (though Takeshi seems to assume it's just looped back to the beginning). She wonders if everyone's worried about her, including "that kid". (Intersting use of kanji here- the kanji for " kid" here can also be read as "daughter".) -Takeshi says they should all take a picture together. He takes it of himself, You, Coco, and Pipi, and adds it to You's digital photoframe. Naturally, we don't see the picture. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco (Kid's Side) Part 3 (end-game spoilers):
-Takeshi asks Coco who she came to LeMU with. She says "Pipi!" and both Takeshi and You are surprised she didn't go with friends or family. Takeshi asks if she's got family nearby, and she says "above!" You asks if that means her parents work at this facility, and she says yes, her father works here.
-Coco asks if You's family lives here too, since You also works at LeMU. You says no, she lives in an actual house. Coco asks what kind of person You's mother is like. She says she's an optimistic, unclumsy type, but she actually doesn't really know much since they haven't really argued or anything, so she's not quite sure exactly what kind of person she is. Coco sums it up that You really is like her mother. You gets irritated. -Takeshi goes to sleep, and dreams of the moon from underwater, and says it feels like it's changing into someone else's dream, but ignores it and goes to sleep. -He wakes up, and wonders what "he" has been doing. Just then, BW realizes he's been using "ore" in this entire last section instead of "boku", and realizes how unnatural he feels right now, saying things feel both natural and unnatural to him right now, but he eventually stabilizes as his mind sticks to Takeshi. It's now 7:00 A.M. -Takeshi tells Coco to wake up. She says, "morning, Onii-chan." Takeshi is confused, but then realizes Coco must have an older brother, and tells her that he's not her brother. She says, "You're wrong... Onii-chan... anyway, if you don't hurry, we'll be late for school..." Takeshi just assumes she's sleeptalking. -They go to the Staff Room, but Tsugumi isn't there. Similar dialogue from Takeshi's Route plays, except You"haru" gives him a sausage lettuce for breakfast. Takeshi rejects it, and decides to make something better. Coco and Kaburaki offer to help, and they ask what he's going to make. -They make hot dogs. While doing so, Coco asks You if she has something to write with. She gives her a pen, which she explains has special ink that won't dry up for many years and won't break. Coco uses the pen to leave a note on a hot dog that is "Tsugumin's portion". -While he's eating, Sora discusses more about how Mirage works (more scientific explanation), how it's basically an image created by your brain, but requires you to be in a place with some lighting to work. As they say how it's like a dream, Takeshi thinks about "his" dream that morning. -Just then, Kaburaki has his premonition. The rest of the scenes play out the same, except Takeshi automatically asks Tsugumi if she's had something to eat when he meets up with her, rather than a choice. Everything else plays out the same way. (You know, sometimes I wonder if Coco stood on that spot on purpose in order to get Tsugumi injured so she could trigger the true start of Takeshi and Tsugumi's romance.) -When Coco cries and we switch back to Hokuto, unlike the original, we don't hear Hokuto's voice during the cry. Also note that Hokuto hasn't seen himself in the mirror yet. Sara appears, but she says it's only natural for him to cry "after that big slap". She wonders what he said to Tsugumi to earn that. -He runs into the Infirmary, but doesn't see Tsugumi. Same as the original, except we also get a flashback as to how Hokuto got slapped. (You know, after Sara's Route, I'm beginning to wonder if Tsugumi DIDN'T know that Hokuto and Sara were her children in this version.) Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco (Kid's Side) Part 4 (end-game spoilers):
-Hokuto's description of Tsugumi's accident is the same as the original, except Sara cuts him off before he gets into the really grotesque descriptions. Sara also says she's glad, since she was worried when Hokuto suddenly burst into the Infirmary. She tells him his face resembles the person she likes a little. Hokuto blushes and smiles, but it causes him pain due to his slap.
-He asks about Tsugumi, and Sara says, "You're worried that much about her?" Hokuto explains it's because his "illusion" didn't feel like one, and Sara tells him there's no need to worry. Hokuto asks why, and Sara looks towards the hallway. Hokuto looks, and sees Tsugumi walking towards them. -Hokuto asks if the repairs are done, and if nothing bad happened. She says yes to the first, and yes to the second, then mutters "this time, at least..." This surprises Hokuto, who looks at Tsugumi from behind, then Sara appears to him and says they should get going, since it's almost lunch. -Just then, Sara stares at him strangely. Hokuto thinks about how she said his face resembles the person she likes. He asks Sara if he really does. She says yes as, "It's cool, brave, and a little nihilistic." (Hmm... come to think about it, there's one other character who fulfills two of these criteria, and another who fulfills one or two. *Gasp!* Could it be... nah, I must be overthinking things.) -Hokuto is surprised, saying he doesn't feel that way. Sara asks him what he does think, then. He says he thinks it's unique and a little cute. Sara says it doesn't remotely look like that, and she wonders if he's forgotten his face. -Hokuto is confused, and checks all his limbs, and touches his face. Sara suggests they go take a look. They go to the changing room (which Sara has to remind him of what it is). When Sara gets there, she repeats their mother's dialogue from when she took Hokuto in the room (about "secrets"), but adds "just kidding" at the end. -Hokuto walks towards the mirror. We hear his heartbeat. Fear rushes through him. His eyes are squinted, as he's still reluctant to look at it. Through the squint, we can very barely see the CG of Hokuto and Sara looking at the mirror, but we don't see his face. - He expresses fear at looking at it. Just then, Kaburaki comes in, wondering what they were doing, and suggests they were up to something "they shouldn't do". Sara denies it, and explains why they're here. Kaburaki shrugs it off, and tells them lunch is ready, The clock strikes noon, and rings. -Finally, he opens his eyes, and at first, we the CG of Hokuto staring calmly in the mirror. But once he realizes he doesn't recognize himself, we get the CG of him grabbing his head. Achievement unlocked. He starts screaming. Kaburaki and Sara ask what's wrong, and he continues to say "this is wrong" over and over again as he thinks "this isn't me". Kaburaki tells Sara to get the others while he holds down Hokuto. -Kaburaki tells him to calm down as Hokuto (or rather, BW) wonders who he is. He finally asks "who are you? Who... am I?" to the mirror. He repeats the question again and again in his mind. His vision fades white as we get the "white" monologue from the prologue. His consciousness fades away. (BTW, interesting note- Hokuto and BW both use "boku", but Hokuto's version of it is in hiragana while BW's is in katakana.) Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco (Kid's Side) Part 5 (end-game spoilers):
-Hokuto starts questioning his vision, since it felt very real, and the explosion still happened. Sara remarks that Hokuto has a strange power, just like her. Hokuto asks if that means she gets premonitions as well. Sara says not really, but also says she'll keep the premonitions a secret from You.
-Hokuto asks about the others, and Sara tells him where they are. Hokuto asks what Sara's plans are, but she has none, so for now, she's just waiting. Hokuto wonders if he should go see You in the Control Room, or go to the scene of where his premonition was. Choice time. (Well, as much as Hokuto needs a love interest, I think going to You will just result in more or less the same stuff from her route, so it's off to the Pipe Room.) -Hokuto tells Sara he's going to the Pipe Room, and she asks if she can come along. Hokuto agrees, but Sara asks to wait until she finished her lettuce. Rest of dialogue in this part is the same as the original. -However, the passage is blocked due to the methane gas explosion, and Sara's disappointed that they can't go in. Hokuto remarks that this means an explosion really happened. Sara asks if he doubted her, and he says no, it just has more of an impact when you see something for yourself. -He then says while that part came true, the part about Tsugumi's injury didn't. He then realizes in his vision, instead of Sara, Coco was there instead. Sara says she's got something to do, so she'll go back. When Hokuto asks where she's going, she says it's a secret. -On his way through the hallways, Hokuto sees something red on his fingers, and thinks it's blood, but then realizes it's ketchup once he licks it, thinking it's natural. Suddenly, he realizes something's wrong about that- he knew it was ketchup once he licked it even though he doesn't remember ever tasting ketchup before. -He starts wondering what's going on, and thinks back to the mirror incident, realizing this is a similar situation to when he felt his image in the mirror didn't match him, since he didn't feel like "my face is this kind of face." He then recalls Sara talking about his face, and wonders if his original image of his face was a false memory. -He then remembers You talking about false memories/deja-vu, and wonders why he freaked out so much. He continues to think about why he saw Coco instead of Sara in the vision as well. He then goes the pool. -There, he sees Tsugumi on a bench, and is internally relieved that he can see she's all right. He asks if he can sit next to her and she agrees. While Hokuto wants to ask Tsugumi a lot of questions, both are silent. They both stare at the flowers. -She apologizes for being harsh on him back at the Pipe Room. Hokuto says not to be, since it was his fault, and to not worry about it. She says "I-I wasn't really worried about it" and gets embarrassed. She asks if he'd like to eat with her. She takes out two hot dogs, and he takes one. -She says she doesn't know why, but she suddenly wanted to eat hot dogs. Hokuto notes she looks lonely. Hokuto asks why she doesn't eat with the others, if she still doesn't trust them. She says she can't. He asks if that's so, why did she help out with the repairs? -She said she's not helping, she's just here because she needs to get back that which she couldn't find. That's why she came here, and why she can't stop now, so she repaired for her own sake. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco (Kid's Side) Part 6 (end-game spoilers):
-Hokuto asks if she hates them. She says not particularly, and she wouldn't just lie back and let the others die if a dangerous situation arose. Hokuto thinks she just "doesn't understand" the others, not "hate" them. He still thinks he'd like everyone to get along, and tries to think of a way to get Tsugumi to trust them.
-She asks what he's pondering, and he tells her, only to realize a second too late what he said. He blushes in embarrassment, and Tsugumi giggles. Scene plays out like it did in the original until Hokuto's question, which is "what can I do to make you get along with everyone?" Like the original, Tsugumi asks the Jewel Chocolate question. Choice time- does Hokuto know it or not? -Hokuto says he does. Same dialogue, but Tsugumi says she didn't come here to be friendly with the others- she just came here because she needed to recover that which she couldn't find. -Rest is the same. When Hokuto goes to the Staff Room and sees You"aki" and Sara sleeping next to each other, he gets worried that they'll catch colds (due to a conversation he had with You"aki"at some point), and wakes You"aki". He gives them a bath towel to use as a blanket, but the rest is the same. -He wonders what Kaburaki is doing in the aquarium, and like the original, pictures Kaburaki shouting he is the king of the kingdom of fish, while laughing like a nut. Hokuto thinks "I wouldn't put it past Takeshi" at first, but then thinks he wouldn't be that embarrassing. -He goes there and sees Kaburaki running around while shouting similar stuff from the original. He thinks Kaburaki's gone nuts, but when he hears Sora's voice, he goes through his "Who are you/ Who am I?" thoughts again. -Switch to Takeshi. Sora's talking about existance and perception again. There's a lot of technical stuff that's covered, but it's nothing we haven't heard from the original or this, though she mentions how her Human Emulation Limiter allows her to have some sense of perception like humans. -Takeshi eventually asks why she decided to tell him, and she starts talking about LeMU's origins coming from the written epigraph of the legend of Lemuria. She tells him to keep the conversation a secret, and disappears. -Takeshi rethinks over their conversation, and heads for the exit. He sums up the conversation as "the world that's in Sora's image and the world that's in our image are different, but because of Sora's emulation, she can image the same world they can." -He suddenly steps on something soft, and sees he's stepped on Kaburaki's back. He asks Kaburaki if he's all right, and when he goes to pick him up... we shift over to Hokuto's perspective. -Hokuto wonders why he's in the aquarium. He feels his back in pain, and thinks he was stepped on, but then realizes Kaburaki isn't there. He looks up at the moon, which calms him down. Jus t then, Sora appears, and he tells her what he's doing. Just then, he hears a small splash. -Takeshi perspective switch. Takeshi hears the same thing. He walks towards the sound, and finds Coco scattering pellets into the water. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco (Kid's Side) Part 7 (end-game spoilers):
-Same conversation as the original as is the next part. Everything plays the same up until the alarm goes off and Takeshi and Coco go into the hallway. They see You in the hallway with a fire extinguisher. She tells them there's a fire, and Takeshi leaves Coco with You to go ahead and check it out.
(Whoops, I completely forgot about this part, how Coco blamed herself for what happened to Tsugumi. I must sound like an ignorant jerk a few posts ago. Also, I forgot the infirmary scene, which I really regret- it really is a heartwarming scene.) -Scene is the same except when Kaburaki is "singing in the rain". Coco decides to join in with him. Takeshi looks at the ceiling and thinks about water. -Switch to Hokuto. Sara is having trouble swimming, apparently, so Hokuto jumps in. When he reachs his hand out to her, he gets a flashback of this one time when they were kids and Sara was having trouble swimming as he tried to save her. -He reaches his hand out to her, but his hand goes through her, and he realizes his hand isn't there, and the scene continues to worsen. He says "that's why she was..." and then we go back to 2034, where Sara is just staring at him. She says he was talking just now (which was him talking in his flashback). -Sara explains her situation to him. He says she's a ninja, so water should be no problem. She says due to some trauma when she was young, swimming is the one area she's poor at. She starts talking like a ninja, so he takes her seriously, then she starts laughing. -She admits she wasn't lying about not being able to swim. She asks him to teach him, since she thinks she can get over the trauma that way. He then starts training her, and she calls him "coach". -She finishes, and Hokuto praises her for "good work". She says swimming feels good, and Hokuto comments she swims like a dolphin. She says if she really were a dolphin, she could freely swim wherever she wanted. She looks far off, and when Hokuto asks what's wrong, she says nothing is, just thinking about how to master "swimming jutsu". -She says the feeling of fun she's having now is like the one she had when she was with You at school. She then suggests the "date". -Perspective switch to Takeshi, who's at the hot springs. Coco (who, yes, is still in her clothes) asks Takeshi to go on a date with her. Takeshi then asks what she's doing here, and she says it was to ask that. He explains he meant the men's side of the hot springs while he's bare naked. She says she wants a date with him right now. He yells the place and timing for her to do that is all wrong. (Just don't go making comments about Takeshi's "sea bear".) -She starts demanding it. Takeshi gives in and accepts, thinking while he understands she's happy, he wants her out of the hot springs. He gets out eventually, and they begin. She takes him to the Lemurian Ruins at first, and they look at the tablet. -Coco looks at it, explains what it is, and notes there's nothing behind it. She notes it looks lonely. Takeshi takes out the pamphlet, and notes it's a replica. She asks what that means, and he says it means the real one elsewhere, as this is a fake, and there might be something written on the back of that one. She says, "so it's not lonely!" Perspective switch to Hokuto. Finally, after Christmas, I have to go on vacation for about a week or so, so they'll be no updates after tomorrow for at least a week, probably a little longer. So we probably won't get to "that" route yet until after New Year's, but I'll try to do as much of Coco's as I can. Last edited by Daniel E.; 2011-12-25 at 00:28. |

Spoiler for Ever 17:
Reading through these summaries, I had the sensation that the flash-asides were oddly tuned to the specific order you were doing the routes in. Is it possible that the game drops different hints depending on the order you pick? Maybe the flashes of the real Takeshi and the pendant thing wouldn't happen if you did those routes first.

Spoiler for Ever17:
Good question, but I don't feel like deleting my data and starting from scratch just to find out.
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 8 (end-game spoilers):
-After seeing the Lemurian Ruins, the twins stop by the gift shop. Sara is excited, and looks at a dolphin plushes, jumping in. Perspective switch to Takeshi, where Coco has done the same. She tells another one of her jokes (it's not the sexual innuendo one, but I don't really understand it, so sorry).
-Takeshi sighs, thinking kids are like that. He then remembers that Coco is 14, and that most people would think of her as being immature if they saw her now. She then tells another "joke" about dolphins, one who came all the way from a faraway place to see the other. Takeshi thinks to himself Coco may be the happiest one here. -Coco asks Takeshi what he's doing. He says nothing really, just seeing Coco having fun is putting him at ease. She asks Takeshi (jokingly) if he's fallen for her. He goes "What!?" and she continues to joke about it. Coco: "You have, haven't you? Why you, why you! Dammit! This is bad! I'm freezing up, I'm freezing up, I'm freezing up! This is so embarrassing! No, no, oh, what should I do, what should I do?" -Takeshi just shakes his head and smiles. He then wonders where Pipi is. Suddenly, they find Pipi growling at a MyunMyun plush toy. Perspective switch to Hokuto, who is also looking at a MyunMyun plush. (They're jumping around a bit TOO much right now... one of my complaints with 12Riven was that there was a bit too much jumping around in the final route, whereas I felt Ever17 spaced it out more evenly. It's just a bit of a pet peeve though, not a major issue.) -After he stares at it for a while, Sara asks where they should go next. She pulls him by the arm, which both causes his heart to beat and for him to be filled with an odd sense of peace. They arrive at the place of their conception- er, I mean, the Qualle. -While riding the Qualle, Sara remarks it really is as fun as it is with You"aki". Hokuto asks where they met, and Sara gives the same story from the earlier routes. She remarks that You's the only friend she's had, the only person she's had fun with. Perspective switch to Takeshi. -Coco tells Takeshi that aside from him and Pipi, she's never had fun with anyone else, and that she helps her dad out with his work. Takeshi asks what kind of work he does and she says "on the Third Eye". -Coco explains she has psychic powers, such as telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition, post cognition, and can bend spoons. She can tell Takeshi doesn't believe her, so she asks if he has a spoon. He says no, so she decides to use clairvoyance/precognition. -She tells him that he has an "all or nothing" fate. She also makes You"haru"'s predicition from the original (that he will be rich, get a good job, meet a beautiful woman who will bless him with children, have a happy household, and will live long). -However, when she says "lifeline", Takeshi says she's just palm reading, and that's not psychic powers. She insists it is, but he just shrugs it off. He then wonders exactly how Coco helps her father with his work. -He realizes Coco must be lonely, and pats her on the head. She says his hand is warm, and she says "Takepyon, you're like a..." Perspective switch to Hokuto, where Sara has the hologram of Takeshi out, and is saying "... a Solarian." Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco's Route Part 9 (end-game spoilers):
-They're still in the Qualle. Hokuto asks her to repeat herself, and she says he's a Solarian. He nods, and Sara giggles, saying he's really an honest guy, saying there's no way that's a Solarian, saying life could never exist on the Sun. She then shuts off the lighter after joking around a bit more.
-She explains she said "Solarian" because he can't be seen without light, but admits she seriously thought he was a Solarian as a kid, and therefore thought she was one too. She then tells him about how she learned it could be seen with fire after she was left alone (which she said happened when she was 10-11). The words "alone" cause pain in Hokuto's chest. -She tells him how no one else can see him except her and Hokuto. When she says that, Hokuto unconsciously touches the scar on his left arm. She asks him why that is, or why he thinks so. -They turn on the lighter again and look at the image of Takeshi. Hokuto begins to feel something changing within his chest. Sara then asks him if he remembers anything. He says no, but he can feel unease, fear, guilt, and the pain in his scar. She then tells him the man in the pendant is probably her and her brother's "Papa". -Perspective switch to Takeshi. Coco is calling him Papa. Scene is like the original, except Takeshi adds a fourth part to his counter argument- that someone who already has a real father can't call strangers their fathers, since it'll have no meaning. Also, she started calling him Papa when he got caught up in Sora's "Love Visual Novel", where instead of "Onii-chan", she called him "Papa" and did the same stuff to him. Rest of the scene is the same. (I forgot that Coco is pretty much trolling Takeshi here, knowing that he is going to have to be a 20 year old father in the future.) -We do get a small additional bit where Coco pretty much sings her usual ramblings. He flashes back to Coco telling him she has no friends, and I realize I forgot to write that she has no friends BECAUSE she's helping her father. He then realizes that her loneliness explains a lot of her behavior. -He asks Coco to explain a bit more about the "work" she does with her father, and she explains it's in a lab on the sea floor. Rest is the same, except it stops after Coco says she's psychic. -Perspective switch to Hokuto... wait, WHAT!? Who is this? Anyway, we hear a white coated man in one of the Control Rooms (probably Drittestock's) saying, "Why... Why is my daughter here!?" He can see her on a live feed, but can't connect to her because of the jamming. He wants to go to where they are, but the maps have shown him the routes between them are flooded. Man: "Goddammit! It's not just us... those bastards are planning on abandoning them as well! I've got to do something... If I could do something to get a rescue team here... for my daughter and her friends, as well as 'he', who is sleeping in the capsule pod..." -He then heads for the Cosmic Whale, his only means of getting out of there. However, he feels faint, and has to lean his hand against the wall to keep standing. His ID Card falls out of his hand. Perspective switch back to Takeshi. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 10 (end-game spoilers):
-Coco shows Takeshi her Platinum Gold Rainbow Pass. She tells Takeshi she's a Solarian. This pretty much continues the scene from earlier, but when Takeshi pictures sunbathing, he pictures the beach that briefly appeared in Sara's Route when Hokuto remembered he and Sara were siblings.
(My guess is that this background is for Tsugumi's backstory when she tells us. BTW, Takeshi glaring at Coco to tell her "no"... he should give himself more credit, he's more fatherly than he thinks he is.) -Rest is the same. And yes, that includes the game of "chicks". After it's over, Takeshi checks the time, and sees it's 11:17 P.M. On their way back to go to bed, he thinks over everything with Coco, and thinks "Papa, huh...?" -The next bit with You"haru" is pretty similar. After it's done and Takeshi is alone, he has a fantasy of You playing chicks with Coco. There's no CG, but it's pretty hilarious. Takeshi laughs to himself, thinking he'd love to see that. -For some reason, he's wandered to the Qualle. He's about to leave when he hears the clicking of a pen from inside. He goes in, and sees Tsugumi in the dark Qualle. She notices him, and he asks what she's doing. She holds up the infrared pen and says she's "looking at the invisible sun". and jokes that she's sunbathing. Takeshi says he'd like to as well, but there's no sun down there. -Realizing their conversation is reflecting his with Coco, Takeshi asks if she'd like to try chicks. He gets into a pose to explain it to her, but she just sighs. She asks why he came down here. Perspective switch to Hokuto, where he's in the exact same situation as his father, talking to Tsugumi, who asks him the same question. (Having direct voice clips between Tsugumi in 2017 and 2034 to listen to, I do feel like there's a subtle difference in Tsugumi's voice between the two times. 2034 Tsugumi sounds a bit... softer, maybe motherly? Then again, I might just be imagining it due to the fact this is one of Tsugumi's more "personal" scenes- having a normal talk with Takeshi in 2017 and then her son in 2034.) -Hokuto said he came looking for her, as he was a bit worried about her. Apparently, the fight between her and Sara still happened. She tells him not to disappear, as that would make her sad, like it did when the others in 2017 went away from her and Takeshi (she phrases it a lot more vaguely than that, obviously). -He swears he absolutely won't, so she has nothing to worry about and she giggles. He asks what's funny, and she says that looking at Hokuto reminds her of her precious person. He asks if they really are similar, and she tells him they both have a similar atmosphere to them and resemble each other in various other ways. She suggests they become friends, but she hesitates. -Hokuto asks if she hates the idea of friends, but she says that's not the case, that she's had a friend when she was a kid. She says, "that kid... I was right not to bring him along this time." (I think). She then makes a kind expression. -Hokuto enquires about the friend. She says he's small, cute, and fluffy, utterly confusing Hokuto. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 11 (end-game spoilers):
-Perspective switch to Takeshi, who has gone to bed. He rustles Coco's hair as she sleeps. She mutters, "Papa..." Takeshi wonders which "Papa" she's thinking about, and smiles. Coco continues to mutter "Papa", but then says, "Onii-chan..."
-BW goes "huh?" Like the original, we see a shot of Coco in the capsule, a pained look on her face. She says, "It's cold... hurry up and get me... out of here... Save me... Onii-chan... Save me... Onii-chan..." -Perspective switch to Hokuto. Sara is yelling "Onii-chan!" and repeats the "waking" process from her route. Scenes are the same, except Hokuto thinks he had a dream of dating Coco instead. (Hmm... I'm getting a lot of Sara's scenes... would things have been different if I'd chosen to go see You"aki" in the Control Room? Oh well, I like Sara better than You"aki" anyway... though not as a love interest for Hokuto, obviously.) -He thinks over his "date" with Sara, and thinks they played chicks. When he realizes he didn't, he gets confused. Things play the same until Kaburaki sneezes, where Hokuto gets the feeling he's seen this before. He wonders if he's going through time travel, which causes his memory to reset, and wonders if that's why he gets premonitions. (... Nope, not saying anything.) -He then wonders if that's the case, then maybe someone else is also repeating a time loop like him, and he looks at everyone, thinking about them, when he suddenly sees Sora "eating". Confused, Hokuto asks how she can do that. She says it's just Mirage, but she just wanted to try eating. -Hokuto says he thought it might not be a Mirage Sora, but a real Sora eating with them. She asks if that means she's an imposter. Hokuto says he didn't mean it that way, and she says that the "her" right here could be an imposter. -Hokuto is confused, and she explains there's more than one of her in the world, but they can't all share viewpoints. She says she's basically a clone of the original. She explains what a clone is, and then goes into her "Y" discussion from the original. During it, she splits into two, but only Hokuto can see her as two, as she explains. -The same discussion from the original happens (except with Hokuto replacing his father), and when they get into dimensions, Hokuto remembers the pen scene from You's Route. The rest of the conversation from the original plays out. -Eventually, Kaburaki tells him it's time to repair the Cosmic Whale. Hokuto goes with him. When Kaburaki tells him to move out, Hokuto replies, "Understood, captain!" Kaburaki is confused, and Hokuto says he's the private while Kaburaki's the captain. Kaburaki just goes, "heh," and says that's right. -Rest of the scene plays out the same from You's Route, including the image of the real Takeshi. After finishing repairs, Hokuto returns to the Staff Room. He thinks about the possibility that he's time looping, and thinks about Sora's words. -He continues to brood about the possibilities until Kaburaki comes in and asks him if he's all right, since he's crying. Hokuto's surprised to learn this. Kaburaki says Hokuto's memory could be returning. Kaburaki tells him if he believes and wishes, then his wish will become reality. Hokuto wonders if the world will reset again if his memories return. -And I hate to leave on this note, but I must stop here. I'll be on vacation for the next week or so, and so I won't be able to play and update. Yes, I really want to play too, since we're finally about to get to the good stuff, but there's nothing I can do. See you next week, and happy holidays! Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 12 (end-game spoilers):
-Hokuto and Kaburaki prepare for the party, with Kaburaki making Hokuto help him with "special preparations". Kaburaki explains what he means off-screen. Hokuto tells him he already forgot what Kaburaki told him, so Kaburaki tells him to write it down. Hokuto asks if it's anything funny, and Kaburaki tells him it definitely will be.
-However, Hokuto can't remember what to do, so Kaburaki reminds him about his notepad. Hokuto gives it to Kaburaki, who writes down the instructions. Kaburaki tells him to memorize it. -Hokuto looks at the notepad, only to find that all the pages are filled with unintelligible characters and bizarre drawings he can't understand. He's confused, since what he had written was about Sora being an AI, the Plant Area, the methane hydrate, and other info. He's confused since he never wrote those symbols. He then looks at the first page. (Did Kaburaki swap them?) -The first page contains the date "May 1st, 2017", along with the names of the whole 2017 group (minus Kaburaki). Hokuto is shocked by Coco's name, and then he hears Coco's voice. He sees her carving on the backs of all three statues. Hokuto begins to get uneasy, and screams. -Perpsective switch to a black screen. Takeshi/BW(?) says his whole self is turning white. He's in a black world where only his consciousness exists, and calls it "white darkness". He wonders where he is, and thinks the white darness is approaching him. It engulfs him. -He opens his eyes only to see an invisible light staring at him, and feels in that invisible light, someone invisible is watching him. He then hears Coco saying, "Onii-chan, are you awake?" -The rest is the "awakening" scene from Day 5 of Sora's Route, where she sics Pipi on Takeshi. As he washes his face, he remembers that You"haru" is supposed to play chicks with Coco, and thinks he can't miss this. He goes running around looking for them, and ends up at the gift shop. -Inside, he sees Kaburaki, You"haru", and Coco. They inform him they just finished chicks, disappointing Takeshi. Dialogue from the original ensues. -Takeshi expresses his disappointment that he missed it. Coco suggests that Takeshi and You"haru" have a match, and You"haru" accepts, and Takeshi thinks he should as well. However, You"haru" suggests they have breakfast first, and Takeshi remembers he has to do the repairs on the Cosmic Whale as well, so he agrees. -They have breakfast, and then go to the warehouse to get the repair parts. Rest plays out like it did in Takeshi's Routes up until after the repairs are done. Takeshi goes to the Control Room, but is surprised that You isn't there. He looks in the Infirmary, but doesn't see her or Coco. He wonders where they've gone to. -Feeling uneasy, he and Kaburaki look around. While running through a hallway, Takeshi hears Coco singing The Moon and Sea. He runs to the Lemurian Ruins, and finds Coco singing the song with You watching. -Dialogue here is pretty similar to the original scene from the gift shop, though Takeshi talks about the repairs being done instead with You"haru". She congratulates him and Kaburaki on a job well done. -Takeshi asks about Coco's condition, and You"haru" explains she was going to give Coco medicine, but Coco was already feeling better. Coco says she's fine because she ate "mermaid tears". She'd ask if he'd like some, and she shows him the bottle (which is now a glass bottle). -Takeshi remarks they're what Coco was throwing into the water, and Coco tells him to have a bite. He finds that they're really good. You"haru" and Kaburaki have some as well, and agree. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 13 (end-game spoilers):
-Coco then mentions the 800 year nun. None of them have appeared to have heard of it, but You"haru" laughs and says "Do I know it? Heh heh heh... don't take me lightly." Takeshi gives her mock praise, and You"haru" tells him she's not telling. However, Coco says she'll tell, causing You"haru" to grumble. She then tells the story like in the original.
(I looked it up, and found out that this actually is a real Japanese tale. Since this is supposed to be a metaphor for Takeshi and Tsugumi, I wonder if the writers wrote their story around the tale, or if they just came across the tale afterwards and decided to use it? Then again, it can also be seen as a parallel to Coco's plight, so it probably was thought out beforehand.) -Afterwards, dialogue is mostly the same except that You adds her own perspective, since she'd heard of the story beforehand. Coco says she hopes the nun meets her boyfriend again so they can have a "happily ever after". You and Kaburaki agree, and Takeshi admits a "happily ever after" would be nice. -Rest plays out the same up until Coco says she bets the girl wishes she'd never drunk the tears. Takeshi tells her if she hadn't, then she wouldn't have been able to wait, meaning it's also what allowed her to have hope. Coco agrees, saying that because of that, even though she's lonely, that's why the possibility of a "happily ever after" still exists. -You then compares it to the stories of Snow White, Cinderella, Briar Rose, and various other fairy tales where the girl is waiting for a prince. Coco and Kaburaki applaud her explanation, and the scene ends there (without You suffering from her heart condition or the Rip Van Winkle/Urashima Taro bit, but since they already showed it earlier, I guess there's no problem). -Afterwards, Takeshi returns to the Maintanence Room to make some check-ups after informing Tsugumi and Sora. He then thinks up the party, and after gathering the materials, goes to the pool. He sees Coco and Pipi at the statue, though Kaburaki isn't there. Just then, Coco says, "Oh, I see Kiddo. Hey there!" -Perspective switch to Hokuto. He thinks he heard someone call for him (note that Hokuto still doesn't know his real name yet, so he responds to "Kiddo") and turns around, but sees no one. Thinking he's going crazy, he closes his eyes, and cries. -Just then, he feels someone patting his head. He hears Coco say, "there, there" and "You can see, but on the other hand, you've lost sight of everything. It's okay... I can see you. Be at peace... when that happens, you can see..." -Hokuto calms down, and stops crying. He opens his eyes, and sees Coco. However, instead of the pool, they're standing in the same area of blue lines that we saw in You's Route. She says, "You can see, right, Onii-chan?" -Just then, the world shifts to a blue sky, and we hear Sara (the speaker is "???", but it's clearly Sara's voice), and it's the memory of after Sara slashed Hokuto's arm again. He remembers the institute and everything him and Sara were put through. Basically, it's the flashback from Sara's Route. He then remembers that Sara is his sister. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 14 (end-game spoilers):
-Sara is beside him, and she tells him he suddenly lost consciousness. Hokuto tells her he's okay, and with the knowledge Sara is his sister, embraces her. Sara is taken aback, and Hokuto says, "I see, so that was it..." Sara is confused, and Hokuto apologizes for not remembering.
-Sara is still confused, and Hokuto says he remembers that they're siblings. Sara says, "Wh-What are you saying..." in a choked voice. She tries to deny it again, like in her route. Hokuto says, "Look at this, Sara!" and shows her his scar. He says it's the scar she gave him, and is proof that she's his sister. -Sara cries out, "You're wrong... you're wrong..." and cries. Hokuto reminds her of their promise. She keeps denying it, and Hokuto says that's fine, as he knows that Sara can't forgive him for leaving her and hates him. Like her route, she says that's wrong, that she doesn't want to get him wrapped up in it all again. The two of them just embrace. -Sora performs a DNA test, and confirms it. Sara grips the pendant as Sora tells them the results. She also informs them about the properties of the hologram pendant (that is, how it's infrared), and goes into her explanation from Sara's Route. -After she finishes, Sara asks Hokuto if he remembers the lullaby. He does, and sings it. Sara falls asleep to it as he sings. -Perspective switch to Takeshi, who's hearing Coco sing the lullaby. Takeshi thinks that the song makes him feel at ease, and how lullabies remind him of the past, back when he was a kid and thought differently about the world. -She finishes, and Takeshi praises Coco. He asks about it, and she asks him if he knows it's name. He says no, since he only just heard it from Coco. She says she doesn't know the name. -Perspective switch. You"aki" is saying, "Your name, your name!" The dialogue is the same from the original, though it's now in the Staff Room. When he tells her he didn't think about asking Sara his name, she sighs, and leaves the room. -Hokuto follows her, asking where she's going. She says she's going to ask Sara for his name. Dialogue is the same just as Hokuto is about to start his lecture about why names aren't important, but You interrupts him early and says, "Then I guess fron now on, I'll just call you Number Six" -Hokuto says he wouldn't like a name like that, and You says that proves her point, that a name is more than a designation, though she says she kinda gets what Hokuto's going at. Then she begins to talk about her own name, and the dialogue is the same again. -After she rants about how she hated introducing herself at school, Hokuto then remembers her saying her name was longer, and says, "Right... your name was, uh... 'Yubiseiakikana Tanaka'..." You"aki" goes "Why you! Where did you hear that!?" -Hokuto is confused, and You"aki" says (in an angry tone), "Was it from Mayo...? Dammit, even though I told her never to tell anyone... I thought I trained her better than that... heh heh, how should I punish her?" -Hokuto says it wasn't Sara, so You"aki" asks where he heard it. He thinks, and says that she herself told him. He then remembers his epilogue with You"aki" from her route, and kissing her. When it ends, he wonders when he did that with You"aki". You"aki" is confused, wondering if she really did tell him. She then asks Hokuto why he's blushing. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 15 (end-game spoilers):
-Hokuto laughs it off, saying "no reason, no reason..." You"aki" still wonders when she told him. She then tells him her full name (explaining the kanji), and Hokuto gets mixed it up with her mother's name like in the original.
(Note that everytime You"aki"'s name has come up so far, we've only seen it in katakana. Hokuto still didn't know the kanji. BTW, I just realized that You"aki" was born on the Autumn Equinox.) -Dialogue here is same as original, though abridged. Note that the "blanks" conversation between You and Sara is a bit longer than the original, though they just seem to be teasing Hokuto. -When Hokuto's vision goes black, we see the blue lines again, and Coco, who also says something in blanks. She then continues to talk in blanks. Hokuto realizes he can't hear Coco's voice. She then says... Coco: "... to... It's Hokuto... It's Hokuto, Onii-chan." -We then return to Sara and You"aki", and the rest is the same as the original, but it removes the "palm" lines. -Perspective switch to Takeshi, who's in the Qualle with Tsugumi. Like the original transition, he's asking about Chami. Lines are the same from Tsugumi's Route. When he looks out the window, Takeshi remarks his head feels heavy, and wonders if he caught a cold from rescuing Chami. -Tsugumi asks what's wrong with a concerned voice. Takeshi tells her, and she asks if he's okay. He insists he's probably just tired. He then asks Tsugumi about her leg, and she says it's fine. He expresses slight doubt and she asks "wanna see it?" and starts lifting her skirt. -Takeshi says, "I-Idiot!" and grabs her hand to stop her. She starts laughing loudly, to the point where Takeshi wonders if something's wrong. She then raises her hands to his face, and drops Chami on Takeshi's head. He then fakes anger and yells at Chami, though he's just playing around. He remarks, "Hmm... he certainly is charming." -He then asks her what her name means, assuming she's named after a bird of the same name. She tells him no, and he asks her again. She says it means, "The Earth's satellite" and "The place where we are." -Takeshi is confused, so Tsugumi tells him to break it down. He gets that "The Earth's satellite" means the "moon" and says they're in "LeMU". She asks him what's outside LeMU. He answers, "The ocean?" She then says yes, that her name is written with the characters for "moon" and "sea". -Takeshi says, "The sea and moon, huh?" She says no, the moon and sea, as "sea" and "moon" have a different meaning. He asks what, and she says, "What we're riding now." He's confused, so she explains that when written together, the kanji for "sea" and "moon" in that order mean "jellyfish" in Japanese. She also explains that "jellyfish" can also be written with the kanji for "water" and "mother". Takeshi wonders what "water" and "father" would mean. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 16 (end-game spoilers):
-They exit the Qualle (without any indication they did the deed), and Coco runs up and they repeat the "Papa"/"Mama" scene from the original. All is the same, except Coco says the rule about "Mama" was written on the Lemurian tablet, not the Nacaal tablet. Tsugumi repeats to Coco not to call her "Mama".
-Takeshi then says he's going to get cold medicine, and tells Tsugumi he'll leave Coco to her, and runs off. He goes to the Infirmary, where he finds You"haru" gripping her chest in intense pain. Takeshi asks her what's wrong. -Perspective switch. Hokuto asks You"aki" what's wrong. She begs for water, and he gives her the tea he has in his hands. She gulps it, and explains she was taking cold medicine, since it's supposed to help with dizziness and headaches. She asks Hokuto if he has a headache. -He says a bit, but it's most likely the result of his amnesia. He asks about her, and she says it might be due to the stress of their situation. He notices she also takes another kind of medicine, and she explains it's something she needs to take in order to have her genes analyzed (sorry, I'm not 100% sure here), and if she doesn't continue to take it, there won't be results, as it's for a special illness. -Perspective switch. Takeshi asks You"haru" "do you have a special illness?" He explains that he doesn't see anything like this normally in people, and that last time she had an attack she said "this happens all the time." She says, "Ohhhhh, so you're worried?" -Takeshi says of course he is, and if there's something wrong about worrying about a companion. She says, "Companion... huh." and closes her eyes, just before she asks him if he remembers why she came to LeMU. ("Companion...huh." must be You"haru"'s way of saying, "So I'm in the friend zone, am I?") -Dialogue is pretty much the same from the original up until You"haru" says "I'm running out of time." Takeshi denies that, saying they'll be out of LeMU tomorrow. You"haru" says "I'm talking about a different story... a story that definitely won't end with a 'happily ever after'..." -Dialogue is the same as original. There's no choice whether to say you've sinned or not to You"haru", so Takeshi apologizes for getting her on this topic. She says that's all right, he was just worried about her, so there's no need to apologize, but thanks him. Rest of the dialogue is pretty much the same. -Perspective switch to Hokuto, with You"aki" shouting, "Fraternal twins???", though they're in a hallway and not in the Lemurian Ruins like the original. Hokuto mentally explains that You"aki" and he took baths in their respective gender pools, and when they left, they began talking about himself and Sara. -Hokuto gives his lecture about the different kind of twins again. At the end, You"aki" asks him where he heard all of that from, since he shouldn't know that since he has amnesia. He explains (embarrassed) that he asked Sora about it. (To be fair, this did kinda weird me out in the original. I was like, "Wow, Hokuto... for an amnesiac, you sure know a lot about the reproductive systems and all about twin biology. Then again, you could argue he remembered that with the other things he remembered about Sara.) -You"aki" manages to connect the conversation to the Third Eye, and Hokuto remarks that You"aki"'s mother was doing research on that. It then gets into a slightly condensed explanation about what happened after the hacking into LEMMIH, then it returns to the lines from the original. Again, they can't enter the mainframe because they only have half of the password. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 17 (end-game spoilers):
(I lost my first set of comments, so brief summary: Hokuto swipes the ID Card and enters the first password. You is shocked, and realizes the ID Card must be her mother's. They go to find Sara to ask where she got it, and find her in the Lemurian Ruins)
-Sara asks what they're doing together in a time and place like this, and says, "It can't be that when I wasn't looking, you developed that kind of relationship." You"aki": "... Uh, Mayo, you're gravely mistaken. That's not it, I just came here because had something I wanted to ask you." Sara: (in a serious voice) "... I see, I understand!" You"aki": "Then I'll ask. Mayo..." Sara: "It's all right. Nakkyu-senpai, I'll let you have my Onii-chan." You"aki": "... Huh?" Sara: "I've decided." Hokuto: "... Huh?" Sara: "Because Nakkyu-senpai is my favorite." You"aki": "????" Sara: (slightly tender voice) "And then, Nakkyu-senpai will become my Onee-sama for real..." You"aki": (Also in tender voice) "You stupid girl... is that really what you think? I am always your Onee-sama, at any time..." Sara: "Nakkyu-senpai..." You"aki": "Don't say 'senpai'..." Sara: "Nakkyu-oneesama..." You"aki": (hushed whisper) "You're so cute, Sara..." Sara: "Onee-sama...." -They then burst out laughing. Hokuto can't help but feel the deja-vu. Sara then says, "All joking aside, what did you want to ask me, Nakkyu-oneesama... no, Nakkyu-senpai?" You"aki" asks where she got the ID Card, begging her. -Hokuto thinks about the "Y.T." initials, and wonder if they stand for another name. He thinks about You"aki"'s real name (which nets me an Achievement). When he hears "Aki", he suddenly thinks about the word, and thinks back to the password. -He realizes the kanji for "aki" is also in the password. He suddenly stares at the entrance to the Lemurian Ruins, seeing someone there: Coco. Dialogue is the same up until she says "Hokuto" for a second time. She retreats into the Lemurian Ruins. -Hokuto follows her. He finds her deeper in, and she repeats the second part of the password: "The ocean where Hokuto remains will not pass through time." -Perspective switch to Takeshi. Coco is saying the first half of the password. Conversation is the same up until Coco says she's talking with a being from another dimension. Takeshi says he's done that too, and Coco says, "Wow, you can also talk to people from other dimensions?" He says he was doing it just now, and she says "Amazing. I didn't notice at all." -Takeshi says they're right in front of him. Coco says "really? Where, where?" Takeshi says she's the person, and Coco laughs. Rest is the exactly the same. -Perspective switch to Hokuto. Coco and Hokuto/BW are talking in the blue line space (you know what, I'm just going to call it the 4th dimension from now on). Dialogue is the same up until Coco suggests that Sara taught the lullaby to Tsugumi, who taught it to Coco. Hokuto says that's impossible, thinking that Coco doesn't exist in the worlds Sara is in. -He then remembers the possibility that Tsugumi is also "resetting" in parallel worlds like him. Coco then begins her counter from the original, but also adds that Hokuto's wrong- Tsugumi's not the same as him in that aspect. -When Hokuto asks Coco about "the world she's in", she says, "Huh? The world I'm in? You should know the world I'm in, right?" Then the same dialogue again. When Coco mentions her ESP, she says, "Maybe a better way of calling it would be 'The Third Eye'." Coco: "The one my Papa and Nakkyu's Mama are researching." Hokuto: "The Third Eye really exists?" -The dialogue from the original starts again, and continues to the end. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 18 (end-game spoilers):
-Perspective switch to Takeshi, who's still in the Lemurian Ruins with Coco. Coco tells her "adult Amerijoke" from the original. I got an Achievement: "Amerijoke Master". Takeshi mutters that there's 31 hours left until LeMU collapses. He's worried something will go wrong, yet he feels so relaxed. He remarks it's like a dream.
-Perspective switch to Hokuto, who's dreaming of the 4th dimension. Plays the same as the original until suddenly, Hokuto recalls the image he had of the impaled Tsugumi. He wakes up in the Infirmary, where Sora is. -Hokuto wonders where he is. Sora explains he's in the Infirmary, and Kaburaki had brought him here after he lost consciousness. Remembering the impaled Tsugumi and Coco's words that it wasn't a dream, he decides to take action. He asks Sora where Tsugumi is. -Sora tells him, and Hokuto goes running off. He finds her in front of the Qualle, entering. He goes in with her, and she gets surprised, asking why he's so frantic. Same plays as the original. -The screen goes white, and we get a Perspective Switch. Against a black background, Tsugumi explains it's the wound from earlier. Apparently, the lights have gone out in the Qualle, with Takeshi watching her. (Strange... there's no CG of Tsugumi showing her thigh anymore. What, did the CERO think it was too inappropriate now?) -Tsugumi explains it's the proof she's a monster, and that to her, living and time don't exist for her. The viewpoints merge, and we get the scientific explanation from Tsugumi's Route on the Cure Virus. It's slightly different from the original, but the main points are still the same. -Perspective switch to Takeshi. Tsugumi explains it made her weak to the sun, so she was always in dark rooms. However, she found she could now see well in the dark, due to her infravision. -When Tsugumi asks if Takeshi doubts her, he says "Why should I need to doubt you?" He explains that while it sounds like some kind of occult or fantasy story, he can tell from the look in her eyes she's serious. However, he says there's one thing he doesn't believe. -When she asks what that it, he says it's her proclamation that she's a monster- when he looks into her eyes, all he sees is a normal girl. -The Qualle goes dark again. Tsugumi whispers, "Idiot..." They are then wrapped up in each other's warmth, breaths, and sensations. Tsugumi says, "Then look. Don't avert your eyes. Look. All of it... to you and you alone, Takeshi. I'll show you my enitirety." -While the descriptions of the scars and everything are the same as the original, we actually hear Tsugumi cry in this version instead of just being told she does. The rest is the same, including them "becoming one". -The part afterwards is the same. Some of the descriptions and dialogue are slightly different, but nothing of consequence. -Perspective switch to Hokuto. After going through his shock, he runs out of the Qualle. Again, mostly the same, just cuts a small bit of his inner turmoil. Like the original, after realizing Takeshi and Tsugumi are his and Sara's parents, he goes to the Control Room, where You"aki" tells him it's 2034. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 19 (end-game spoilers):
-Perspective switch to Takeshi, who's talking with You"haru" in the Control Room. Her story is the same, except that it's narrated from You"haru"'s view instead of a third-person view like in the original, and the viewpoints merge.
-In addition to "Come to my lab", Shigezo Morino added, "I can't save you from your despair, but I might be able to lighten your burden a little." There, instead of saying the different ways of immortality, he went right into explaining scientifically how genetic immortality works, that genes are immortal. He finished with "So what do you think? Would you have the information in your genes replicated?" (Also, Shigezo is voiced in this version.) -The talk of immortality was hope to You"haru". Shigezo mentioned that originally, there were problems with cloning because the telomares had to be shortened, meaning the clones aged much faster, but he has a way to prevent that. -Rest is the same. Perspective switch back to Hokuto. Conversation is the same right up until You"aki" explains the mail date, then she says, "So it seems... that my real mother actually is dead after all..." Hokuto says "No", as he knows the truth about You"aki"'s real mother. He leaves. -He calls for a meeting with Tsugumi and Sara in the Maintenance Room. Here, though, some of the monologue has been cut, so perhaps Sara didn't suspect Tsugumi was her mother here (I think her actions on her route can attest to that). There's not much mentioned about Tsugumi's nervousness either. -When Hokuto says "this is the real Takeshi" to Tsugumi, her face warps into an expression of regret and sadness. Rest is same. After Hokuto says that Tsugumi is there mother, all three of them go "..." -It skips Hokuto shouting at Tsugumi to talk, and she gives her whole "I'm not your mother" bit from the original. (Oh god... Yuu Asakawa's delivery of the "I'm not your mother" speech made me cry in this version. In the original, I didn't cry until the embrace, and those were tears of happiness. These are tears of sorrow.) -After she says that, the viewpoints merge (or rather, we're actually using Tsugumi's perspective now). We see Tsugumi in the sub, crying after Takeshi sacrificed himself. Pipi whines, and Tsugumi says, "You're lonely too..." and holds Pipi tightly. Her and Pipi reach the surface, and open the hatch. She lets go of Pipi, telling him to go to where his "precious person is too" (assuming Coco is on Insel Null). She dives back into the ocean, and goes looking for Takeshi. Tsugumi: I looked for him. I wanted to hear his voice. I wanted to feel his warmth. I wanted to be by his side. If I was just with you... then I needed nothing else. If I was just with you. -Three days later, Tsugumi washed up on a beach. She realizes she washed up there, and that Takeshi wasn't with her. She realizes she couldn't find him, and so she was all alone, as the only one who survived. As she walks along the beach, looking at the ocean she feels something moving on her chest. -She hears Chami squeaking, and then cries, saying his name over and over again. She held Chami in her hands, and remarks, "At that time, that small warmth alone is what saved me." The rest is then from the original, though some of the lines are a little different, but basically say the same thing. -Two months later, TB had spread. The news was filled with people dying from the "unknown virus". Naturally, Leiblich's name was nowhere to be mentioned in those reports. She then realized she was pregnant after getting morning sickness, and the rest is the same (though keep in mind this is all from Tsugumi POV instead of a third-person narration.) Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 20 (end-game spoilers):
-It then gives pretty much an abridged version of Tsugumi's story from the original (that is, it skips over the "boat shack" part from the original- irritating, as I thought that was rather heartwarming, and shortens the explanation of Sapiens-Cure, though we still know everything we need to know), though it mentions she was hiding away somewhere for a while
-One year later, the three of them were living together somewhere else. She spent a lot of time with her children, and at night, she would sing them the lullaby. Rest is same from the original. -At the beach, she remembers Takeshi's last words to her "You're not alone anymore." She remarks, "That's true, it's all right.... I really am no longer alone..." It skips the part where Hokuto saved Sara from the ocean. -Rest is the same up until the "several years later" bit. When she found Hokuto and Sara had gone from the orphanage, Tsugumi was unable to find out who had taken them due to the orphanage's policy. Doing an investigation of her own, Tsugumi learned they had been taken by Leiblich. -She remarks that once again, they had taken the people most precious to her away. From that day on, she kept looking into Leiblich facility after facility, looking for Hokuto and Sara. One day, she received a message: "If you come to LeMU, you can see your children again." -While she knew it had to be a trap, that she didn't truly believe it, she still went to LeMU, they place where she had lost something precious, where she would now go to to recover that which was precious. -Switch back to Hokuto. Sara is singing The Moon and Sea Lullaby with a choked voice. She then says, "I understand... Mama, I understand your feelings. Mama... Mama... MAMA...!" All three of them embrace, and the rest is the same from the original (Goddammit, Kuranari family! Stop making me cry again!) -When Hokuto leaves, he thinks about the fake "Takeshi", wondering who he is. He runs to the pool, where he hears Kaburaki saying to himself, "Hey, is this all right...? Takeshi, if it were you, what would you do...?" (I'd almost forgotten what I loved about this route so much... it delivers emotional drama and plot twists every five minutes in this part!) -The confrontation is the same up until Kaburaki yells "How could you know the history of before you were born!?" Images and words from Takeshi's Routes, fly through Hokuto's head, such as LM-QSS17, IBF, TB, the Cure Virus, Pipi, Chami. He sees images from all three of Takeshi's endings (Tsugumi, Sora, and the Bad Ending). -He then remembers the endings of Sara and You's routes, and remembers the words "Third Eye" and "Blick Winkel". He then remembers the image of You"haru" in HIMMEL. (Well okay, all they really did is take a segment from later, brought it here and added images to it.) -It ends, and Kaburaki says, "You don't know why, but you know it, don't you? Then just what the hell are you!?" Hokuto then thinks over what he does know about himself- he's Sara's brother, his name is Hokuto, he's the son of Takeshi and Tsugumi, and thinks while that's all correct, something still feels fundamentally wrong. Rest is the same, and I get an Achievement when Kaburaki reveals his real name. -Perspective switch to Takeshi, where Kaburaki remembers his name. He writes it down, and the kanji used to spell it. Takeshi congratulates him, saying, "That's a relief, Kid... no, I mean, Kaburaki." Kaburaki thanks him, and the rest is the same. -Perspective switch back to Hokuto, where he wonders just who the hell he is. He thinks back to everything, and remembers the talks he had with You"aki" about the Third Eye. Kaburaki then asks. Kaburaki: "Well? Have you finally remembered your true self?" Hokuto: "I... have the power of the Third Eye... that's why I know..." Kaburaki: "Oh ho, seems you've finally got half of it right." Hokuto: "... Half?" Kaburaki: "But from the looks of it, it doesn't seem like you've fully recovered your memories." Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 21 (end-game spoilers):
-Perspective switch back to Hokuto, where he wonders just who the hell he is. He thinks back to everything, and remembers the talks he had with You"aki" about the Third Eye. Kaburaki then asks.
Kaburaki: "Well? Have you finally remembered your true self?" Hokuto: "I... have the power of the Third Eye... that's why I know..." Kaburaki: "Oh ho, seems you've finally got half of it right." Hokuto: "... Half?" Kaburaki: "But from the looks of it, it doesn't seem like you've fully recovered your memories." -Hokuto remarks he's right, he still hasn't regained his memories, just fragments, and he still doesn't know the most important bits, such as what kind of person "the existence known as Hokuto" is. -He asks Kaburaki if his memories will return. Kaburaki says, "Yeah, if you wish for it, they will. If you believe and wish for it, that wish will become reality." Hokuto says, "My wish?" and Kaburaki reassures him once again that everything will return. He strokes Hokuto on the head, just like Takeshi did for Kaburaki after Kaburaki rememebered his name. Kaburaki: "With that, my role has now ended. Well then, time to return to my original work..." -Kaburaki then leaves. Hokuto knows that Kaburaki knows who he is, but that Kaburaki probably won't tell him even if he asks. He then thinks that "she" might know who he really is. -Perspective switch to Takeshi, same stuff. (Coco's joke made more sense in Japanese. It was "What time is it, Mr. Whale?/It's 9:00!" The joke is that the Japanese for whale is "kujira". In addition, Japanese for 9:00 is "kuji". So she said, "It's Whale" as the time, and also why Takeshi comments on it being 8:00.) -Also, since there's no more Cosmic Whale room, Takeshi points out there is no starry sky. Coco says, "If you can see that with your heart, then it's okay." When she says she can talk to people from other worlds, Takeshi asks if she means talking to the dead, which she says no to. Rest is the same. -Perspective switch to Hokuto, who's in the 4th dimension with Coco. It's the same until Coco says "Blick Winkel." She then says, "Sorry, I've got to go... This is the last time we can speak like this, Hokutan... We won't be able to meet anymore, so I'll be waiting... I'll be waiting." -She touches Hokuto's hand, and says, "I'll be waiting for you..." and disappears. Hokuto is shocked, wondering where she went. He screams her name. The viewpoints then converge, and we see Kaburaki in 2017, shouting Coco's name in the Control Room. -Hokuto (or rather, BW) tries to shout out to Coco, but his voice can't reach her. He keeps screaming to no avail. (Gah! The 3D version of the real Takeshi startled me because of how... odd he looks. BTW, Soichiro Hoshi's voices for adult Kaburaki and the real Takeshi have some differentiation in this version- Kaburaki sounds a bit nasal and slightly lighter, while Takeshi has a deeper, non-nasal voice. It kinda sounds like a deeper version of his Keiichi voice from Higurashi.) -The scene plays out like a mixture of Tsugumi and Sora's routes, with Sora telling them about TB and IBF. Rest plays out like it did from Takeshi's routes, with Hokuto/BW making similar comments. (I also forgot to mention it in the earlier routes, but in this version, Kaburaki isn't as freaked out about Coco as he was there.) Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 22 (end-game spoiler):
-On the elevator, You"haru" tells Takeshi the same stuff about Sora she did in Sora's Route. Rest is a mix of the same stuff from Takeshi's Routes, up until Yoichi dies. He says "I leave... daughters... to... you..." then dies after his last words.
(Either You and Coco, You and Sora, or all three of them, I guess.) -Outside, Takeshi and You"haru" have their conversation from Sora's Route, and get the backup program and everything. Everything is the same until the end of their second conversation, where Tsugumi comes out of the pod room. -Takeshi and You"haru" get worried, assuming something happened to Coco, but Tsugumi assures them she's stable for now. Takeshi asks why she's here, and Tsugumi says she was going to check the sub bay. Takeshi goes with her. -The scene from Tsugumi's Route ensues. (After comparing the writing style of the original parts from the routes here to the ones in Never7, I think I now know which routes were written by Nakazawa and Uchikoshi in Never7, but obviously, no one else would really know about them at the moment.) (Incidentally, after reading Never7, I see they made a mistranslation in the original. Shigezo Morino's comment that "In this world there are probably at least two or more types of the Cure virus..." should have been "In this world there are probably at least two or more types of Cure..." But that's another story.) -After Tsugumi starts crying, Takeshi gently places his hands on Tsugumi's shoulders and says, "But with this, it's now clear. There's hope inside you, Tsugumi... You can save everyone with the antibodies for TB that you have within you." -Rest is same from Tsugumi's Route. When Takeshi begs Tsugumi to help them, he adds, "I know I'm being selfish and that I'm asking too much of you..." and after his next line, "I want you to believe that hope exists..." Rest is same from Tsugumi's Route. When Takeshi is barely conscious after the Cure Virus injection, he hears Tsugumi say, "If you don't wake up... I'll never... I'll never forgive you..." She then goes to get Chami. -When Takeshi goes to call the sub, he remarks, "it's so small... it's like a toy." He still remembers to take the terabyte disk with him as he goes to save Sora. -Rest is same as his routes, but after he lands on the floor, and is writhing in pain, he shouts, "FUCK IT... I'M NOT GOING TO DIE!" Sora comes over to him, and tells him why what he just did was so reckless. Rest is a mix of Tsugumi and Sora's Routes, such as saving Tsugumi and backing up Sora. -After the disk goes in, everyone thanks each other for what they've done, including Tsugumi thanking Sora. Sora says it's just her job, but Takeshi says it has nothing to do with that, they're thanking her because she's their companion. Rest is same as Tsugumi's Route. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 23 (end-game spoilers):
-Perspective switch to Hokuto. He wakes up in the Infirmary. You is sitting over by him, relieved he's conscious. She asks if he's all right and if he can move. Hokuto then says, "Which You are you?"... his voice acting having returned.
(Hokuto's voice is also a bit deeper than Kid Kaburaki's. It's hard to put into words, but while he still speak in a young voice, the high-pitch that Kaburaki had sounds smoother in Hokuto's voice.) -He asks her what year it is, and she asks him if his memories are still chaotic. She says it's May 6th, 2034. He repeats her, when a siren goes off. You"aki" tries to call for Sora, but she can't reach her, and she wonders what's going on. -Hokuto suggests they go to the Control Room, and You"aki" agrees. Hokuto asks where the others are, and You"aki" says they were making preparations in the Maintenance Room. In the Control Room, the red lights are flashing. -Sora is there, and tells them there's been an explosion in the Maintenance Room. She tells them to stay there. Hokuto wonders what caused the explosion, as it was Sara's gunfire that caused it in her route, but there should be no reason for any of that this time. -Perspectives merge, and Hokuto/BW are now in the Maintanence Room, a perspective again. He sees no one in the room, and no signs of any explosion. He returns to Hokuto when You"aki" shouts her concern for Sara. Hokuto wonders what that was about. -Sora confirms Kaburaki and Tsugumi are okay, but You"aki" wonders about Sara. Hokuto says it would be best for them to go check it out. He wonders if Kaburaki was involved, that he might be planning something. -However, Sora receives a communication from Kaburaki, confirming Sara is okay. Sora is about to go check things out, but Hokuto asks her if there actually was an explosion. She doesn't answer the question, saying "Leave it to me. I'll take the others to a safe place" and then tells them not to leave the room. Hokuto thinks to himself the way she didn't even acknowledge his question was as if she was reading off of a script. -Hokuto heads for the door, but You"aki" stops him, telling him Sora told them to stay put. Hokuto tells her that there was no explosion and that there is no danger, as he saw it. You"aki" is doubtful, saying the monitors say otherwise, but if Hokuto's going, then she's going with him. He finally gives in, and stays behind, not wanting to risk the chance that he's wrong and she could get hurt. -Sora doesn't return. You"aki" then talks to him, saying that if Hokuto was right that there was no explosion, then maybe they've been deceived by someone. Hokuto then remembers Tsugumi telling him "they" may have been responsible for his amnesia, and the image of Kaburaki comes to his mind. -Like her route, You"aki" expresses the possibility they were trapped on purpose. Dialogue is same from her route. After she finishes, Hokuto wonders to himself why Kaburaki was repeating the events of 2017. He remembers Kaburaki telling him his memories hadn't fully returned. -Dwelling on The Third Eye, Hokuto wonders if he has it, why he doesn't understand everything. He then remembers Coco telling him he's not really Hokuto, that he's the "perception" itself. Just then, a strange sound breaks out. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 24 (end-game spoilers):
-You"aki" realizes it's a communication from the outside. They see You"haru" on the other line. Hokuto realizes that she's Yubiseiharukana. Same conversation from You's Route. When You"haru" says she's in HIMMEL, Hokuto/BW becomes a viewpoint again.
-He sees inside HIMMEL. We see that Sora was the operator talking in You's Route. Sora: "Unidentified particle surge acceleration currently increasing! Planck time acceleration also enlarging here!" Assistant: "Superposition stable!" You"haru": "Woohoo! We've almost got it!" Assistant: "Well done, ma'am!" -You"haru" then remarks that it's still to early to celebrate, and asks Sora to guide "him" there. Sora agrees, and reappears in the Control Room. You"aki" asks what Sora's doing, and asks if she's also one of their accomplices. (I can't get over how terrible You"haru"'s 3D model is... She has the face of an old lady...) -Sora merely apologizes. You"aki" asks about the others, and Sora assures them they're all safe in HIMMEL. Hokuto tells You"aki" they need to go their to confirm everything. You"aki" agrees with him, saying she really wants to give her mother a piece of her mind. -Sora says she'll guide them to HIMMEL. She does so, and when they arrive at the door, Hokuto mutters, "'Heaven', huh..." He walks through the door, and sees the silloutte of You"haru". He sees her in full. He thinks he knows her name: "Yubiseiharukana Tanaka". -Dialogue is the same, except BW came into the world at 1:17 P.M., not 3:17 P.M. Also, they're slightly less subtle about the fact that you, the player, are Blick Winkel, but they never quite say it. Just that "You know that the Third Eye is someone from another world, a world one dimension higher, an existence that borrows a 'perspective' in order to look down on our world." -BW remembers Coco talking about the same stuff. You"haru" tells him he isn't borrowing a perspective, he is the perspective. She then tells him he can see the past and present, and he could even see the end of Takeshi. BW decides to do so, and travels through the 4th dimension. -He returns to Takeshi's perspective in the IBF pod room. -Tsugumi wakes him up, saying the taxi's here. Takeshi gets up, and Tsugumi asks about his body. He says he's okay now, and they should leave right now. Tsugumi gets Chami, and they leave the room. They find Pipi in the hallway, and Takeshi picks him up. -The place shakes, and they start running. Rest of the scene is the same as it was in Tsugumi's Route. When we get to Takeshi leaving the hatch, however, the new song, "Der Kern-Je nach" starts playing instead of "Der Mond Das Meer". Rest is the same as in Tsugumi's Route. (So they didn't use the original dialogue... *sigh* But you know, after thinking about some of the worse changes this remake has made, it doesn't really bother me so much anymore.) Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 25 (end-game spoilers):
-Hokuto gives his speech, but a bit is added at the end- where he quotes what Takeshi told Tsugumi: to never let go of hope, and shouts at his father to not lose hope. Also, there's an echo effect added to his voice. Finally instead of crying, Hokuto's voice is filled with determination.
-Hokuto and BW think "I want to save him!" and "Don't die!" Choice time- telling Takeshi to live is the only option. (Basically, the tone of the speech seems to be "Get up on your feet!" instead of "Please wake up!" here.) -Perspective switch to Takeshi. "A light was born. I was in the cold, dark depths. A wide, far, and seemingly endless pitch black world. I was there... Suddenly... I feel... a gentle, warm prescence. A light shined before me." -Choice time. Again, only one choice: "Live!" -Takeshi says the light speaks, giving him strength. Takeshi: "I... I won't die... To hell with that..." -He opens his eyes. He feels himself crushed by the pressure, and can't move his body. Note that instead of from BW's perspective, this is from Takeshi's perspective. He urges his body to move, "saying" "I'll never... let go of hope... I'm going to live! -He keeps urging his body to remove, and remembers all the power Tsugumi says Cure gives the infectee. He says right now, he needs that power, and urges himself to move. After a bit, he finally starts moving, and can swim through the water. He emerges from IBF, and coughs out the seawater. (I left a bit out of here that implies that it was a certain something from Never7 that saved Takeshi's life here.) -As he lies on the sub bay, he remarks it looks like fate didn't want him to die in the ocean. He then notices that IBF is fine, despite LeMU having crumbled. He stands up, and walks through the facility. Note that he hasn't conversed with Hokuto yet. -He heads over towards the pod room, thinking he can still contact the rescue team. However, he realizes he's forgotten where it is. As he's wondering, a light suddenly shines in his head. Choice time. The only choice is "left". -He turns left, and finds Coco. When she wakes up, she says, "Takepyon... I found you..." Same dialogue from the original ensues, except Coco says she was looking for Takeshi, not Pipi. In response, Takeshi embraces Coco, and apologizes. Coco just pats him on the head. -When Coco passes out, Takeshi freaks out, realizing Coco hasn't received any antibodies. He quickly starts running back to the pod room. He tells her to hang on, as he's going to inject her with the antibodies. He continues to reassure Coco and himself. -Returning to the pod room, Takeshi injects Coco, remembering how You"haru" did it. He begs for the antibodies to work. He then tries to contact the surface, but to no avail. He curses, and punches the wall. -He thinks it over, and realizes there's no other way out, thinking swimming would just be suicide. He then notes Coco doesn't seem to be getting better, and realizes it's because she was infected longer. He wonders what he should do. -At that point, it switches to BW/Hokuto's perspective. BW wonders the same thing, thinking while he managed to get this far, he doesn't know what to do next. He then thinks of an answer- just tell everyone above what happened to Takeshi and Coco. -He sees the rescue team on the surface, talking to a few people, and shouts at them to save Takeshi and Coco. But no one responds. He realizes he can't reach them (they explain why, but I didn't understand the explanation.) Last edited by GundamAce; 2012-01-05 at 16:16. |

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 26 (end-game spoilers):
-BW returns to Coco, and angsts over the fact he can't save her. He remembers Coco talking to Takeshi on Day 6, as they talked about "happy endings". Coco said she knew the method to get a happy ending, and about how the hero would show up to save the heroine at the climax.
-He also remembers You"haru" saying they'd all been waiting for him for a very long time, because they need him to save Takeshi and Coco. He then curses that all he can do is "observe". Takeshi shouts "what should I do!" again. -He looks at the pods, and thinks it might be best to put Coco in there. He then remembers You"haru" telling him about cryogenic sleep. At that moment, Takeshi repeats it, saying exactly what BW is thinking. And then, at the same time, they think of using cryogenic sleep. -Dialogue from the original ensues, until Takeshi suddenly realizes, "Who am I talking to?" BW tells him to forget that and just put Coco in the pod. He places her in the pod, and is about to press the switch when Coco wakes up. Coco: "Takepyon...?" Takeshi: "Oh, you're awake? ... How are you feeling?" Coco: "Not so good..." Takeshi: "Wait, I'll put you at ease right now?" Coco: "Who...?" Takeshi: "'Who'? It's me, it's Takepyon." Coco: "No, wrong, not you, Takepyon... Who's that standing behind you, Takeshi?" (Kagome, kagome...) -Takeshi looks behind, but sees no one, and asks Coco what she sees. BW talks to her, saying he's BW. She says, "then... can I call you... Blitan?" BW realizes that this Coco doesn't know who he is yet, so he wonders just who was the Coco talking to him all this time. -Takeshi says, "Blitan? Is that your name?" BW says yes, and Takeshi realizes he was the one talking to him this whole, that he thought he could hear something this whole time, and that he saved him. Coco: "Blitan... thank you... and... and... to your other self... as well... thank you..." Takeshi: "Other self? There's someone else?" Coco: "Yes, there is... Beyond Blitan... I can see... the real..." -Then, while they never say it, the game pretty much says Coco is talking directly to the player right now. She says, "Yes... I'm talking about the real you. We've finally met... Coco knows about you... Because... Because... you've always... watched over Coco, haven't you?" (There was a whole bit earlier where You"haru" talked to BW about how there was "an original 'you' who became interested in us." and a bit more, but I didn't feel like translating that bit, so I glanced it over.) (For example, there's a line that says, "Through me, Coco is talking to you. I'm... conveying your feelings. That's why I can use your words...") -She says she'd like to play chicks again. Takeshi says he thought he was the one who played, and Coco just giggles, saying "this other person" was playing with them. -Return to the dialogue from the original. After Coco goes to sleep, Takeshi talks to BW, asking who he is. BW explains he's something like a 4th dimensional being. Takeshi: "What do you mean 'like'?" BW: "Well, you see, right now, it seems like my existence still hasn't properly acknowledged this world's existence yet. So I can't convey it very well..." (This is part of that earlier conversation with You"haru" I didn't talk much about.) Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 27 (end-game spoilers):
-Takeshi says he doesn't really get it, but shrugs it off. He gets in a nearby pod, and BW asks what he's doing. He says he has no choice, since he promised Coco, and there's no escape route at the moment anyway, so he'll wait until help arrives.
-Essentially, the rest is the same with BW talking to Takeshi instead of Hokuto doing so. After Takeshi goes to cryogenic sleep, BW checks the monitors, and they confirm the cryogenic sleep function worked. -BW wonders what to do, and realizing they need to let the others know, he goes back to 2034, where Hokuto is still standing in IBF, with Sora in front of him. She asks if he's all right, and BW thanks her. -He turns to You"haru", and tells her. He then realizes that though Takeshi and Coco have been put into cryogenic sleep, yet he's here in 2034. You"haru" asks if he saved Takeshi and Coco and saw them go into cryogenic sleep. He says yes, and she says that's enough. When he wonders what she means, she asks if he knows Schrodinger's cat, and explains it to him. (I've translated Schrodinger's cat for Never7 already, and I don't feel like doing it again. Wiki it if you don't know it by now. Sorry if I sound a little annoyed, that's not my intention.) -She tells him IBF is still there, as Leiblich left it alone, but there's no longer any elevator between there and HIMMEL. She tells Kaburaki to prepare "it", and asks Sora to call Tsugumi and the others. They both shout, "Understood!" As she's explaining what to do, her voice suddenly distorts into a deep pitch. BW realizes the world is fading, and we hear a static noise. -He can no longer see anything, and wonders what's going on. He then realizes the future's been lost, because he must have made some kind of mistake. He thinks about where he went wrong, and wonders what he needs to do to create a future where Takeshi and Coco are saved. -He then remembers You"haru" talking about how he summoned himself. He realizes he didn't make a mistake, he just hasn't done it yet- creating the link between everything, and that he needs to tell You"haru" the plan. -He returns to 2017. He flies into You"haru"'s perspective, where she's telling a Leiblich member that Takeshi, Tsugumi, and Coco aren't with them, telling them to go back for them. The man tells her that LeMU has already collapsed, so it's too late. -She tells them she's talking about IBF, but the man says such a facility doesn't exist. You"haru" says she was there and knows about it, so the man reluctantly tells her about the sub, and says they're probably on that, and tells her to return to the rescue tent. -She refuses, saying she'll wait until it surfaces. Just then, one of the subordinates comes along and informs them that while the sub has surfaced, it's empty. The man says, "What!? 'She' wasn't riding it?" -The subordinate confirms all they found was an electronic dog. You"haru" takes Pipi, and the man yells at them to find Tsugumi and to not let her get away, and to observe the water surface. They go running off -You"haru" shouts at them to rescue them, but the men are gone. She cries while holding Pipi. BW then tells You"haru" not to worry, everyone's safe. He tries to talk to her, but she just continues to cry. He realizes his words aren't reaching her. He wishes for her to see him, his thoughts about saving everyone strong. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 28 (end-game spoilers):
-Just then, she looks... at the stone tablet with Coco's drawing. BW remembers Tsugumi's Route, where You"haru" had asked Sora to bring up information on the Lemurian Tablet. He then remembers You"haru" talking about Sora's backup. He then remembers Sara mentioning You"aki"'s mom owned a robot dog. We then see a new scene and CG- of Takeshi Yagami giving Pipi to Coco as a present.
-She gets excited, and he tells her he's the latest type of robot dog, created by Yoichi Tanaka. She thanks Yoichi, and he laughs, saying he's happy if she is. Takeshi Yagami explains to her that Pipi's brain uses the experimental "LM-QSS17" quantum computer. She doesn't get it, so Yoichi just laughs it off and says that means it's special. -Coco is amazed that he's special, and asks for his name. Yoichi says he doesn't have a name yet, so he asks Coco to name him. She names him "Pipi". -BW then is in the 4th dimension. He realizes what the way to communicate with everyone is, how to convey their will- he needs to create the Lemurian Tablet. He remembers when Coco told the story, and how You"haru" spoke of women waiting for princes on white horses. He then thinks of Coco sleeping and waiting for him, and realizes it's like the story of Snow White. (Okay, they do explain here HOW BW was able to do it, but my illiteracy in this kind of Japanese is preventing me from understanding. Just know that he did it somehow.) -He returns to 2034. Everyone rides the Cosmic Whale to IBF, with Kaburaki controlling it. They arrive in IBF, where everything is the same. -He wakes Coco. Dialogue is the same up until Hokuto goes to wake Takeshi. BW releases his grasp on Hokuto. Hokuto and Sara keep shouting for Takeshi to wake up. He wakes up, wondering where he is. Hokuto and Sara happily call to him. -Confused, Takeshi asks who they are. They both say, "It's me, Dad/Papa!" Takeshi is quiet, still not quite sure what's going on. Hokuto then asks, "Hey, Dad?" and Sara follows up with, "Why are you ignoring us, Papa?" He then says he'll tell them: because he's not their dad. He gets out of the pod, and sees Tsugumi. Takeshi: "Hey, are you okay?" Tsugumi: "... Idiot!" Takeshi: "Tsugumi..." Tsugumi: "Idiot, Idiot, Idiot! ... Idiot... Just... Just how long do you think you've kept me waiting?" -Takeshi says he'd like to ask a question- how long has he been sleeping. The dialogue is then the same as he guesses how long it's been. He asks the Yous for the date. You"aki" tells him it's May 7th, and You"haru" remarks it's the end of Golden Week. Takeshi laughs, thinking he's only slept for a few hours. Everyone stares at him. Hokuto: "Dad? I don't want you to panic, all right?" Sara: "I want you to just calm down and listen." Takeshi: "Wh-What is it?" Hokuto: "The truth is... Tsugumi: "You've..." Sara: "Been sleeping..." You"aki": "For a..." Kaburaki: "To you, it might feel like it was only yesterday..." Sora: "But in actuality, the amount of time that has passed has been..." You"haru": "... A whopping 17 years!" Takeshi: "S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S..." (Cut from LeMU to the ocean to the sky) Takeshi: "SEVENTEEN YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARSSS!?" (God... I've never cried so much before... THIS is what the reunion should have been like in the original!) Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 29 (end-game spoilers):
-They all ride the Cosmic Whale to the surface. Takeshi is still reeling from the shock. He still can't believe everything, including that Hokuto and Sara are his children, though they remark that it's no surprise, since he woke up to find he has two 16 year old children.
-Takeshi greets Coco on the surface, the dialogue being the same, though Takeshi remarks it looks like the cryogenic sleep was successful. We then get the CG of Takeshi, Hokuto, and Coco. Coco tells him she wants to play chicks. Hokuto says he wants in too. Coco and Hokuto start, and Takeshi reluctantly joins in. They play chicks. -BW thinks that he needs to return to his original world now. As he's about to go, Coco says, "Ah, wait, Onii-chan! -We cut to the Epilogue without credits. Like the Prologue, Takeshi is reading the pamphlet to LeMU. Rest is the same, except that when he "agrees" to take Sara to Ninja Town, he throws in a Sara impression. -When Hokuto asks why he's ignoring him but not Sara, he says, "True... oh that's right. A demanding father spoiling his daughter... I see, this is what is called a 'stupid father'... Looks like I'm an idiot." -Switch to Tsugumi, who's on deck. She agrees with Takeshi, thinking he really is an idiot for making her wait 17 years, and she's still waiting now. She smiles as she watches Takeshi interact with their children. She remembers his last words. Takeshi: "It's all right... you're not alone anymore. And I'm-" -He got cut off there, but Tsugumi knows what he said: "I'm not going to die." She thinks he really is a stupid man for saying something he knew couldn't happen. She goes out to meet him, except the rest is the same, except he compliments her outfit, not Chami, and just like when they first met, she gives him a punch. (LEMUR... PUNCH!) -Switch to Sara. Everything is the same until the end of the newspaper article. You"haru" reveals that there was a transmitter inside of Sara's body that Leiblich used to track her, but Sora removed it when Sara was sleeping. -Switch to You"haru". It turns out BW wrote the plan on the Lemurian Tablet, and that the data for the plan was found in Sora's backup (I think- I'm guessing BW went back in time and made two people write it down on them. But I'm not 100% sure.) -The researcher was Yoichi, and his story is the same except he stayed for Sora and not You"haru", since he didn't even know You"haru" was working at LeMU. -Also, a vaccine for TB was created in 2018, which is why the death rate was low in 2019. -Switch to You"aki". Same, except it cuts out a lot of her monologue. Also, when Hokuto says there's something he wants to ask You"aki"... You"haru": "Oh-hooooooo....!" Hokuto: "It's very important, which is why I thought I'd ask you..." You"haru": "I seee noow.... Well then, I'll get out of both of your way..." -You"aki", expecting a confession, asks him what it is. He says he wants to consult her on something, confusing her. He says he's thinking of studying archaeology or quantum biology when he gets to college. (Double-majoring in them would be a b****...) -Perspective switch to Hokuto. You"aki" is silent, and just sighs. She asks, "what of it?" with a slightly irritated expression. He says he wants to know more about Blick Winkel, paticularly what it was that made their viewpoints overlap. -She reluctantly agrees, and the rest is the same up until You"aki" suggests he just wants to be in the same field as her and he agrees. She says she was just kidding, and he's embarrassing her. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 30 (Finale) (end-game spoilers):
-Kaburaki's turn. Now he finally gets a past. It's revealed he was also a psychic, but a very low-level one that was nowhere near on Coco's level. He went to LeMU because he was supposed to meet Takeshi Yagami for the first time because he was just about to help him out with his research.
-The plan was for Takeshi Yagami to meet up with Coco, find Kaburaki, and have a fun day together at LeMU before they went down to IBF to begin. He says that the truth was, he never lost his memory. He explains it was because in 2034, he was conducting an experiment on Blick Winkel when an accident occured. -Said accident caused his memories from his 2034 to flow into his 2017 self briefly via his powers (I think). The feedback of said memories and the images sent his 2017 self's memories into chaos, and an overload occured, causing his memory loss. However, he still remembered fragments of his 2034 self's memories, which is why he would have premonitions at times. (Again, I'm not 100% about all of this, so I might be missing some info). -The rest is the same. After You"haru" told him what had to be done, he remembered what Takeshi said about their relationships not changing. He thought he wanted to see his companions all smiling, and wanted to see Coco again. -He also remembered his promise to Takeshi, and vowed to keep it. The rest is the same, except most of his conversation with Coco is cut out. -Switch to Sora. She had called out to Takeshi. She gives him a lunch, like in the Mirage scenario. They repeat the dialogue from the end of Sora's Route that they had in the fake world. He eats it, and says it's good. -She gets excited at that that she nearly cries. She says that she wanted to give it to him for a while, from a dream she had of another world. Takeshi just goes along with it. Just then, he stops eating when he sees there's meat, and asks what he's eating. -She assures him it's not a weird fish, just ordinary tuna. He says that's not it, he's eating real food, not Mirage food. You"haru" appears and starts laughing wildly. She says she stayed silent because it was funny watching him (she's repeating her dialogue of when Takeshi first found out Sora wasn't solid). -She explains Sora now has a real body. Takeshi remarks her body looks very realistic, and asks what she's made of. You"haru" starts explaining it, but Takeshi doesn't get any of it. Sora, who touched Takeshi earlier, notices his hand feels wet. -He explains it's UV gel, due to his Cure Virus. You"haru" explains that they still need to be careful of the sun, but nowhere on Tsugumi's level, and the sun is mostly harmless to them. Takeshi offers another explanation- she developed a trauma towards the sun due to her watching the boy from the facilities' final moments (where he had wanted to the feel the sun for so long, and was only able to after he became a monster). -Coco appears, and Sora mentally narrates what happened to Takeshi Yagami- he had escaped from IBF, but ended up in LeMU. He was the one who took the first Cosmic Whale sub out of LeMU. -He made a miraculous recovery from TB, and was transferred to another Leiblich facility. When You"haru", Kaburaki, and Sora were working together, he became their biggest collaborator. However, Coco seems to already know this. -She says that Takeshi Yagami is waiting for Coco at the harbor they're scheduled to arrive at. It's then revealed the truth- Pipi is Sora's "true self", as Pipi was the LM- QSS17, and so Sora's data was backed up into Pipi. -Perspective switch to Coco. It's exactly the same as the original. -End credits. Song is "Enrai". Coco Route cleared, Extra unlocked: "BW Side". Now then, I think it's time we tackled the new route... what we've all been waiting for! Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 1 (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-It begins right where Coco's Route ended. BW's eyes lock with Coco's and he says at that moment, he was born, he changed. Yes... where the world changed... his viewpoint changes. And now he can see everything.
-April 25th, 2017. Coco is in IBF. She thinks she sees someone, but can't see them. Her father asks what's wrong, and she tells him she thought someone was looking at her. Professor Yagami says it might be Blick Winkel. She asks what that is. -He explains what he is in a sentence, that he's a viewpoint in the 4th dimension that can see everything, though there's a lot they don't know about him. Coco says she doesn't get it, so Professor Yagami asks if she knows that she can see the future or unknown places. She says yes, and he says that's what BW sees. -As Coco talks about it, Professor Yagami tells her that in a week, a boy around her age will be coming to IBF to have his psychic powers examined, but he'll be in a meeting when they're supposed to meet, so he asks if Coco will go for him. She agrees. -While she's walking around, she bumps into another researcher with a hoarse voice. Professor Yagami shouts at him to be careful, and he apologizes. As the researcher walks away, he says. Researcher: "... That ampoule is no good... if we don't quickly get results in finding antibodies... the higher-ups will be pissed... The orange ampoule isn't enough.. soon... we need to find something soon..." -IBF, May 1st, 2017, 11:17 A.M.. Another researcher is carrying the first one into the pod room, asking the doctor to help him, as he started coughing blood, but that researcher also starts coughing and collapses. The doctor tells them to hang on. Another researcher comes in, telling more are coughing blood. The doctor wonders what the hell is going on. -LeMU, same date, 11:34 A.M. The alarm goes off. Two scientists discover IBF is now a biohazard, an S-Class Alert, according to LEMMIH. They're told to leave it, but express anger that the higher-ups are abandoing the IBF stafff. -One hour later, IBF. Those left behind are also angry at the higher-ups. Most of the escape pods are gone, and the elevator to LEMMIH won't work. They find that one of the elevators to the surface is still working, and head for it. The narration notes that they had not realized the consequences- the incident at LeMU. BW sees images of all of the 2017 endings. -August 17th, 2017. On TV, a reporter is talking about TB. Leiblich is using the TB incident to their advantage by making money off of treatments by finding antibodies for TB. The TV is turned off. You"haru": "What the hell! Even though they got the antibodies from us!" -New CG. We see You"haru" sitting on a couch with a book in her hands, while young You"aki" is playing with Pipi. You"haru" is trying to translate the Lemurian Tablet to no avail. She remarks that the etching of Coco's drawings on the tablet is proof that it's related to everything, and that the incident isn't over yet. -You"aki" goes, "Pipi-tan, Pipi-tan!" and Pipi barks. You"haru" looks at them, and scolds You"aki" not to pull Pipi's tail, since he's not a toy. You"aki" then pets Pipi, saying, "Good boy, good boy!" You"haru" agrees, and thanks Pipi for playing with You"aki". -She remarks how life-like Pipi is despite being a robot dog, saying she thought he'd be more mechanical. She also mentions that Kaburaki recovered his memory and went home, while Tsugumi has gone off somewhere, so she and Pipi are the only ones together. She mutters, "Takeshi... Coco... Sora..." -She reaffirms herself, saying this is all for their sake. She turns back to the book, but only groans as she tries to translate the tablet. Just then, we hear Sora's voice say "Tanaka-san" four times. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 2 (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
You"haru": "Yes, yes, you're a Tanaka-san too, you know. Mom is busy right now, so I'll deal with you later."
-Sora calls out again, asking You"haru" if she can hear her. You"haru" then looks at You"aki" in shock. She just says "Mama, Mama!" You"haru" just assumes she's tired. Sora's voice then comes from Pipi. She says she's using a program in Pipi to speak to her. You"haru": "I really am tired... Ahahaha, I thought I heard Sora's voice come out of Pipi..." -Sora explains she's in Pipi. You"haru" is shocked. Sora then explains- Takeshi backed her up into LM-QSS17, which was Pipi, who was made by Yoichi. You"haru" thinks about him, and thinks she had to keep it a secret that she knew the researcher was her father, or Leiblich would put her family in danger, and going to the press or police would be useless. She thinks she also has to do this for his sake as well. -You"haru" then remarks that Sora has data on the Lemurian Tablet in her database, which Sora confirms. You"haru" asks for her help with it, as she knows the writing on the tablet has meaning to her. -However, Sora finds that the data is written in a code. You"haru" asks why, and Sora says it's probably because whoever wrote it didn't want others finding out about it, or it would be bad. Sora says the decipher words required to break the code are a 5-7-5 syllable pattern, and You"haru" asks if she can crack it. Sora wonders if it will really help, and tells Sora to read it. Sora: "To Yubiseharukana Tanaka. There is a plan I absolutely want you to carry out." -You"haru" is shocked. Apparently, the tablet from the past had a message from the future. That message had the whole Third Eye plan written out on it, and had things only You"haru" would know written as proof. -September 17th, 2028, LeMU. LeMU had been rebuilt by that time. You"haru" used the lab at HIMMEL to begin the project. You"haru", Sora and Kaburaki went there, and on that date, they began an experiment. They appear to be building a machine. The machine... is hard to describe. It looks like a globe surrounded by a nucleus with skyscraper like pillars around it. -You"haru" discusses it- it's a machine to make a man-made black hole. She remarks that it uses technology that seems almost impossible to replicate, and that she never thought she'd be the one making it. Apparently, it'll be used to attract BW to the world (I think). -All three remark that it's taken 11 years to get it 80% functional, and they only have 5 more years. Kaburaki remarks how odd it is that they're doing all of this to fulfill a prophecy on a tablet, and You"haru" says it's not a prophecy- it's a scenario that'll lead to hope. (Interesting note- when not pretending to be Takeshi, Kaburaki still uses "boku" as opposed to "ore"... or it might be because he's only 26 here.) -Kaburaki points out the tablet could have been created by Leiblich, but You"haru" insists it was for them. She also talks about how Leonardo Da Vinci didn't succeed at his first attempt of a painting either, so they just need to keep working at it. She thinks with the three of them, they can do it. -She thanks Sora for her help, and they talk about how it's ironic that Leiblich ended up creating Sora for them, which Sora remarks it was You"haru"'s father who created her. Sora has also helped in the creation in an advanced version of Mirage. Sora remarks how she'd like to be an existance that could feel everyone. -You"haru" then suggests constructing a body for her, instead of being in Pipi's body like she is now. Sora thinks it'd be impossible to separate her from Pipi, but You"haru" says it's not impossible via an external computer manipulator. She says she's sure the bio and cyber research divisions at Insel Null would be happy to make it. -She says they'll give her "an ultimate sexy body", as in an android, since technology of that level does exist. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 3 (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-Sora says she's fine as she is. You"haru" insists that if she does do it, it'll give "that idiot" a surprise when he wakes up. Sora says she had a dream regarding that. She said she was making something with her own hands for his sake.
-October 17th, 2029, LeMU Staff Room. Sora now has an android body, and has made dinner for You"haru" and Kaburaki. Sora asks how it is, and both say it's good. Sora thanks them happily, and Kaburaki says it's good that she's been cooking, because up until then, he'd had to make his own dinners. -You"haru" says it's necessary, since getting food from the surface or anywhere else would take too long. She also remarks that when she cooks, Kaburaki always complains. Kaburaki says that's because he never got over that day she served everyone heads of lettuce, but she replies maybe that was a good thing, since Kaburaki now has some cooking skills. -Sora says that it's because Kaburaki has cooking skills that she was able to get good at cooking. Kaburaki notes that indeed, when he cooked, she would ask him how he cooked things. She says he taught her the skill to make good cooking- by picturing the pleased face of the one your cooking for and use your feelings to do so. Kaburaki goes, "Wh-Whaaaaat? I said that?" -You"haru" is impressed, saying "You'll make a good wife... I mean, a good husband." Kaburaki blushes from that comment. Sora asks why he's blushing, and he stutters that it's nothing. You"haru" says he could open a shop, and thinks he could call it "Kaburaki Bistro". He just sighs. -You"haru" asks how his Takeshi acting is going, since she knows he doesn't have a lot of time to practice it with all the work they're putting into making the machine. Kaburaki says it's going fine, since Sora helps him with it by using Mirage people to test his acting. -He remarks how amazing the new version of Mirage is, that it's more realistic than before. You"haru" wonders if they shouldn't actually sink the real LeMU and just use Mirage to deceive the others, as she doesn't want to put everyone in that much danger if she can help it. "One incident is enough." -Kaburaki says that would be nice. Back to the acting, You"haru" asks him to try it right now. Kaburaki says, "Tch, you've got no confidence, huh?" She tells him his acting has to be perfect, and that it's especially important that he knows how to ad-lib in situations that are different from the original incident, and it's not an exaggeration that a lot of the project is riding on his acting. -Kaburaki says he knows that, and that he will do it because he promised Takeshi, and that he's willing to go through the incident for a second time. He then thinks back. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 4 (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-May 1st, 2029. During an experiment on the space-time equipment, something goes wrong. The alarm starts blaring, and You"haru" asks what's going on. Technobabble is thrown around, and the machine is going haywire.
-You"haru" says the black hole is warping space too much, and they need to destroy it before they get thrown around in space-time. In typical haywire machine fashion, they can't shut it off or destroy the black hole. -Kaburaki realizes there's no other choice, and runs over to the machine. You"haru" tells him that it's too dangerous to approach the machine. Kaburaki says he has to stop it, and their only way is to hid the true emergency stop button on the machine. -You"haru" still shouts at him not to, but he ignores her. He hits the button, but at that moment, the results cause his 2029 self's consciousness flies into his 2017 self, causing his 2017's self's amnesia. -May 1st, 2017. Kaburaki is in a hallway with Takeshi, crying. This is the "I don't want to be here" bit. The scene plays out the same with Takeshi comforting Kaburaki. -May 5th, same year. We see the scene at the party where Kaburaki admits he's afraid of the incident ending and losing everyone, with Takeshi assuring him they won't stop being companions. -May 6th. Kaburaki does the whole "This isn't me!" bit, which was caused by the fragments of memories he had of the older Kaburaki. (BTW, I forgot to say this a long time ago, but after the initial shock wore off, I actually think real Takeshi has one of the better 3D models in the game.) -October 17th, 2029. Kaburaki has snapped out of his recollections. You"haru" asks if he's okay, since he's crying. He says he guess he has been crying a lot lately. You"haru" mutters Kaburaki's name, and he says once they're done with their break, he'll start acting. He asks Sora for Mirage support. -He notes that Mirage interacts vis infrared vision, and that it was written on the tablet that Tsugumi's kids have infravision. You"haru" says she'll have to scout for the "key" to the Blick Winkel Project. Kaburaki: "You don't mean...?" You"haru": "Yes. I mean Tsugumi's son, Hokuto, the one who has infravision and The Third Eye." Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 5 (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-November 17th, 2029. An 11 year old Hokuto has been brought to LeMU, where he's in the Infirmary. Sora scans him, and confirms that he indeed has the Third Viewpont, using Professor Yagami's research on Coco as a reference point, making him ideal for BW.
(Well okay, maybe I should start differentiating- there's two words for the Third Eye, which I've kept the same up until now- it's more like "The Third Viewpoint", which is Coco's power, and "The Third Eye", which is BW.) (BTW, if you thought Soichiro Hoshi couldn't make the Kid sound even younger... well, somehow, he did (though not that much).) -Hokuto asks about Coco, and Sora says she's like him in that they can receive interference via BW. Hokuto repeats her, and You"haru" says, "Yes... that's the key point." She explains that his perception is BW's perception, and that it'll allow him to be possessed by BW. -Hokuto remarks that sounds scary, and You"haru" says, "to put it another way, you will become a human emulator." She says it's not that bad, but it puts a lot of strain on the possessee's brain, giving them dizziness and headaches. -Hokuto is surprised he can do that, but remarks it's making him a little uneasy. You"haru" reassures him he can do it, as his name was written on the tablet in the "The sea where Hokuto remains shall not pass through time" bit. -She says they'll explain all of that to him later, as it's a long story. She then apologizes to him for having to get him involved in this for their own convenience. Hokuto: "It's okay, I'm the one who should be thankful to you. You're the one who got me out of that hell-like organization. And if this project is successful, then I can save my sister too... So I'm happy to help." -You"haru" thanks him, saying they'll definitely succeed. Hokuto remarks his surprise that she was able to get him out of that facility. She says it was actually fortunate he got injured when he did, and that she has a lot of supporters both inside and out of Leiblich. -She still admits her lament for having to get a lot of innocent people involved, and she especially feels guilty about getting her daughter wrapped up in this. She says he probably won't remember, but if possible, when the time comes, she'd like him to watch out for her. -Hokuto says he will, and says that he's surprised such a young child has to get involved. She then tells him You"aki"'s actually two years older than him right now. Hokuto: "R-Really? Sorry, uh, I just thought, well... you look so young, so..." You"haru": "'Young'? Ahaha, I haven't explained that yet either, I guess... But I leave my daughter in your hands. My daughter is Yubiseiakikana. She's a beautiful girl, just like me (winks at Hokuto)." Hokuto: "Uh, right..." Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 6 (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-April 30th, 2034. Sara has also been brought to HIMMEL. She asks You"haru" if that's really okay, since she's dealing with Tsugumi, who's said to be a terrorist against Leiblich. Apparently, it was You"haru" who gave her the "mission" of capturing Tsugumi.
-Sara is surprised that You"haru" will be the mission control leader, since she's in a position so close to where the action will be. You"haru" asks her to pretend when she sees Tsugumi that she doesn't know who she actually is, and that she'll be watching everything on the monitors. -Sara asks about transmissions, and You"haru" says they won't really need to do that. Sara is confused as You"haru" continues, telling Sara if there's anything she needs, tell her, and she'll try to back her up. Sara says "yes" reluctantly, and is awkwardly silent. -You"haru" asks Sara if there's something she wants to say, since she knows she's probably feeling a bit overwhelmed. Sara says that's not it, it's just that talking to You"haru" is giving her the weirdest sense of deja-vu. You"haru": "Deja-vu? ... I see now." Sara: "Ah, excuse my rudeness." You"haru": "No, that's fine... But I see now. Hee hee..." -You"haru" tells her the plan will commence tomorrow, so until then, she's free. She says she'll provide her with a pass so she can have fun at LeMU's attractions. Sara says she understands, and then excuses herself. As she leaves, Sara mutters, "Nowhere is free..." -Afterwards, she sits on a bench outside of the gate, watching lovers and families walking into LeMU. Watching them, she takes out the pendant, which is lit by the sunlight. She mutters, "Papa..." Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 7 (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-May 1st, 2034, 12:17 P.M. You"aki" is in LeMU, talking to herself about the real reason she came here, thinking her mother isn't worried about her father, but she thinks it can't just be written off the way they were told. She then wonders what she's talking to herself for.
-She gets back to her rescue staff work (which consists of assisting anyone who seems ill). As she works, she wonders if she will get a chance to actually look into her father, then shakes her head, saying that she can't be weak, that a chance will come. As her mother said: "If you believe and wish for it, your wish will become reality..." She then sees Tsugumi in the Myun Myun outfit pass by. -17 minutes later. Tsugumi is thinking to herself that while she lost something important here last time, she'll get back what's important to her this time- her children. She thinks this all began a few days ago, when someone called her on her cell phone. She thinks back (Oddly enough, Asakawa's voice when she's thinking sounds exactly like her old Tsugumi voice.) -April 28th, 2034. We see Kaburaki in HIMMEL, on his cellphone. Kaburaki: "Tsugumi... Komachi, is it?" Tsugumi (on the other end): "... Who are you?" Kaburaki: "What would you say to seeing your children again?" Tsugumi: "My children!? 'My children', you say..." Kaburaki: "But there are conditions. You have to come to LeMU at noon on May 1st. If you do that, you can see them." Tsugumi: "May 1st... the underwater LeMU... Hey, what are you-" -Kaburaki hangs up, and says, "Whew, that's done now." You"haru" asked if she seemed energetic after 17 years, and Kaburaki complains he can't tell that when he's threatening her over the phone. You"haru" says, "Point taken". -Sora says maybe they should have told Tsugumi about the plan. You"haru" says she had thought of that, but it wasn't written on the tablet, so she didn't want to risk it. You"haru" says with this, everything's in place. -Kaburaki sighs, saying "to resort to a threatening phone call..." You"haru" says they didn't have a choice, seeing how Tsugumi's being targeting by Leiblich. She also says now that they're with Leiblich, there's a possibility Tsugumi wouldn't have believed in the plan. -Kaburaki asks how she got Tsugumi's phone number. She gives the same answer she gave Hokuto about how she got him out of the facility- "I have many supporters, on the inside and out"- including ex-Leiblich researchers who knew Tsugumi. -Back to Tsugumi on May 1st. She thinks that she's here to clarify if it's a trap, and if it turns out not to be, then she'll take back what was snatched from her. She thinks, "Those kids... are me and that person's... me and Takeshi's..." BW decides to go check on Takeshi. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 8 (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-May 1st, 2034, 12:36 P.M. Takeshi and Coco are still sleeping in the pods. BW promises them they'll be saved soon.
-May 1st, 2034, 12:43 P.M. Back in HIMMEL, Kaburaki remarks it's taken a long time, but they're finally here. Kaburaki says he hasn't changed much in appearance, and Sora says she's changed a bit. -You"haru" tells them, "Yes, yes, we can chat when this is all over. This day and this next week is what we've been working towards... to save everyone from the 2017 incident, to end what started 17 years ago.... No, we should work our best to make sure we can see everyone with smiling faces... just like what he wanted back then..." -Kaburaki mutters, "Just like Takeshi..." and Sora mutters, "Just like Kuranari-san..." You"haru" tells them to begin. -12:59 P.M. Sora tells You"haru" that Kaburaki and Hokuto are in place. You"haru" also remarks that Sara's on the elevator descending to LeMU. They then start the man-made black hole machine. Technobabble (well, it's not really technobabble, since it's actual scientific terms, but you get what I mean) is thrown around as they begin the countdown. As Sora finishes the coundown, she says "Click!" at the end, like Takeshi would always do when hitting a button. -The artificial black hole catches BW's attention. He feels someone is calling to him from there. He can see the entire world, and his monologue from the beginning of the game is repeated as he's called into the world, and enters the black hole. He is born into the world. -We see the image from the end of the game of everyone looking up at BW. His monologue from the beginning of the route repeats. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 9 (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-We then get an Engrish line: "Parallel World an EPILOGUE After That".
-#01: You"aki"'s World. 2034, another world. We're in HIMMEL. The experiment has ended, and You"haru" tells Sora and Kaburaki to finish up things on their end. Hokuto and You"aki" are also in HIMMEL, with Hokuto looking confused. He asks You"haru" "Is it over?" She says yes. -He asks if "he" awoke, and she says unfortunately, it doesn't look like he awakened in this world, but she's sure he fully awakened in another world. She says it's a little disappointing it wasn't this world, but she says it's okay. (TANAKA's Plan's Failure End, anyone?) -Sora apologizes, saying she messed up at the end with the artificial black hole machine. Kaburaki says it wasn't her fault, it was due to the trouble that happened when Sara rewrote her code. You"haru" says something, and I can't understand it, but it explains what was happening at the end of You's Route. -She also says this may have been part of "his" plan, and was also caused via the intervention of the original "him". Kaburaki asks if he woke up at all, and You"haru" says he make have awakened a little, since he still synchro'd with Hokuto. -You"aki", absolutely confused, asks what they're talking about. The narration says that You"haru" confessed everything to You"aki" after that about the BW Project, and that she always intended for You"aki" to find the first half of the password, as well as working at LeMU. She also was the one who gave Sara her own ID Card, expecting her to give it to You"aki". -However, while the plan was a failure here, no one is really upset by it, since if the tablet is right, then BW succeeded in another world. You"aki" (to Hokuto): "I see now... So in other words, that means you were an accomplice too!" Hokuto: "No, uhhh, at that time, I, I uh, I wasn't me.... ahahahaha..." You"aki": (in an "I'm going to kick your ass" voice) "And then...?" (flexes fingers into a fist) Hokuto: "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I'm sorry! (covers face)" -You"aki" sighs, saying she'll let it go, since her mom seems happy. You"haru" says now is the time to wake them up. They begin to prepare to go on the Cosmic Whale... Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 10 (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-#02: Sara's World. After Hokuto and Sara vow to go, You"haru" and Tsugumi are together. You"haru" asks, "So, are you just going to watch?" Tsugumi is silent. You"haru" asks if she's okay not telling them.
Tsugumi: "I abandoned my children once. I don't know what kind of face I should see them with..." You"haru": "Well, I'm okay with it... but when we wake that idiot, what do you think he'll do when he learns the details? Well, I guess I'll leave that to imagination for now." -Kaburaki has prepared a sub to take them down. You"haru" complains if it weren't for the gunfire, they would have been out quicker, and even though IBF is okay, she wonders what she's going to tell the higher-ups now that LeMU's sunk for real. -Tsugumi gives an embarrassed laugh, apologizing. You"haru" mentions that the higher-ups are probably in an uproar right now anyway, so there'll probably be no need to file a report. Tsugumi then asks her why she didn't just tell her about the plan to begin with. -You"haru" explains it's because it wasn't written in BW's scenario. Tsugumi complains she needs to punch someone to vent her anger, asking, "In the first place, what the hell is Blick Winkel!?" -You"haru" gets into a very scientific explanation about him, and concludes that "he might just be a simple person from another world." Tsugumi is completely lost, but shrugs it off as she and You"haru" exchange more banter. You"haru" then says they should go wake Takeshi and Coco now. She tells Sora to keep an eye on Hokuto and Sara, since Hokuto's memories should be returning soon. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 11 (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-New Engrish Message- "Parallel World an END After that..." -#03- Sora's World. We see Takeshi and Sora embracing each other in HIMMEL. The final exchange from the route ensues. After it ends, we hear a hissing sound of static. We see Tsugumi in the sub. -Pipi whines, but we also get the new Sora's thoughts via Pipi, who thinks "That's right, Kuranari-san!!" She then realizes she can't speak. Tsugumi notices Pipi's "awakened". Sora is confused why she's being called "Pipi". She then slowly realizes she's in Pipi, and that Pipi is the LM-QSS17. -Tsugumi says now she can go, and opens the hatch. She says she won't let "them" catch her. She tells Pipi it's time for him to go to where his most important person, and dives in the water. Sora!Pipi thinks about her words, and thinks that Takeshi is with her main body at the moment. (Never thought I'd ever have to use the phrase Sora!Pipi in my life before...) -She doesn't want Takeshi to die. She barks as she tries to shout for someone to save Takeshi, and that she wants to save him. Just then, a light flashes, and we briefly see the goddess statues before our viewpoint turns underwater. She sees Takeshi's body underwater, unmoving. -Realizing it's Takeshi she cries his name out three times. Sora: "You can't die! Kuranari-san, don't die! Kuranari-san, don't leave me behind! LIVE!" -Takeshi's eyes open. He thinks, "What... am I...?" Sora shouts to him. Takeshi remembers what happened to him after he got Sora's backup set up. Sora starts getting more desperate as she cries and screams out to Takeshi. However, he can't hear her. He wonders why he's alive. -He finally hears her, and she asks if he's all right. He says he is, and reminds her that men are there to help cute girls in need (something he told her in her route). He then starts to swim towards IBF... Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 13 (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-"Parallel World an BAD END After that..."
(Huh, I thought they'd do Tsugumi as well. Then again, the Coco Route pretty much is already the Epilogue of Tsugumi's Route.) -#04- The Finished Worlds. We're in the 4th dimension. BW sees the results of all the Bad Ends, and wants to prevent them. He then wishes to change them... -#05- Finished World- Sara. Hokuto and Sara are embracing each other in the Qualle. BW feels great sadness at that sight. Sara mutters to Hokuto that staying like this is okay for her. BW (via Hokuto's thoughts), thinks: "This is okay...? This is all right...? Hey, Sara... Instead of saying those words, I just pat Sara on the head. You really want to live and for us to always be together right...? You were always locked in a world of darkness, which is why you wanted to go to a world filled with light, right? Hey, isn't that right, Sara?" -BW thinks and wishes to protect Sara. Just then, we get the flash and the sight of the goddess statues again. The Qualle shakes, and starts rising. They look up, and both of them can see the faint outline of the moon. Sara and Hokuto smile, hold each other's hands, and look at the moon as they rise... Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 14 (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-#06- Finished World- You"aki". Hokuto and You"aki" are disappearing in the 4th dimension. With the last of his will, BW/Hokuto remembers all the good times he had with You"aki", including when they kissed.
-He thinks he doesn't want to disappear, that he won't let himself disappear. The flash and goddesses again. Hokuto and You"aki" rematerialize, and Hokuto thinks he won't fail again. They scream each other's names, and grab each other's hands with a smile. -Hokuto tells her "Let's go to where the others are." They then look into each other's eyes, tenderly say each other's names, and kiss. Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 15 (a.k.a. Takeshi x You End Part 1) (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-#07- Finished World- You"haru". You"haru" is dying and confesses to Takeshi. Like the original, he is shocked over her death, and screams her name, then cursing. IBF then floods. Takeshi sinks into the ocean, cursing mentally on how he couldn't save anyone.
(Wow, Takeshi's scream of "GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!" gave me chills.) -In his mind, he thinks that he wants to see everyone's smiling faces more than anything right now. You know the drill: Light + goddesses= BW magic ensues. -Takeshi returns to You"haru"'s body, where her heart suddenly starts beating again, and her eyes open. You"haru" is shocked, and says, "Huh... Kuranari...?" Takeshi says You's name, thinking he has no clue how it happened, but they're looking at each other again. -We hear the beeping of a heart monitor. Kaburaki's life signs have returned. You"haru" is completely shocked, as they had stopped earlier. Takeshi admits he has no clue, but says they shouldn't question the miracle. You"haru" cries happily over this. Tsugumi comes running back in, wondering what just happened, as IBF was crumbling and flooding, yet everything's okay now. -Takeshi thinks while none of them know what happened, this is nothing short of a miracle. Takeshi then narrates that after that, they used Tsugumi's antibodies to save everyone. When the rescue team calls in, Takeshi, You"haru", and Tsugumi are still conscious. Takeshi and You"haru" express delight, while Tsugumi tells them she'll be getting out before them. -Takeshi says he understands that she can't let Leiblich find her, and lets her go. You"haru" thanks Tsugumi from the bottom of her heart for saving them. Tsugumi says it might be too early to be thanking her. She then says her farewells to them. Takeshi: "Yeah, later. Let's all meet again somewhere." Tsugumi: "(giggles) I'll think about it." Last edited by GundamAce; 2012-01-06 at 15:28. |

Tsugumi leaves. Just then, Coco's pod opens, and she yawns. You"haru" gives Coco the antibodies as well. However, she still isn't isn't recovering. You"haru" wonders what to do, as does Takeshi. They discuss what to do. Takeshi then suggests the cryogenic sleep. You"haru" says that might work.
-Takeshi says they'll put her in cryogenic sleep, and wait for the rescue team. They place Coco in the pod, but like her route, she tells them not to leave her alone. Takeshi agrees to go sleep in the other pod. -Takeshi lies in the pod. We get a CG of You"haru" smiling and looking down on Takeshi. She says she'll see him later, and he says he could use a nap anyway. You"haru" rolls her eyes at that, and Takeshi tells her to close the pod. -However, she doesn't. She just looks down on him with a kind expression. Just then, they say each other's name, and You"haru" leans in, saying she'll give Takeshi a goodnight kiss. They kiss for a long time, Takeshi saying they can feel each other's emotions. The kiss finally ends. You"haru": "Well then, I'll definitely come back for you..." Takeshi: "Yeah, I'll wait... I'll always be waiting. Well then, good night, You..." You"haru": "Goodnight... Takeshi..." -She closes the lid. Takeshi still remembers the sensation of her lips. 17 years later, he wakes up. We see the image of the 2017 You"haru" looking over Takeshi warping into the image of the 2034 You"haru". -Takeshi thinks that while she looks older, he knows it's her right away. They kiss again. You"haru": "Good morning, Takeshi... did you sleep well?" Takeshi: "Good morning, You. I slept like a log... And..." You"haru": "'And'...?" Takeshi: "Thanks to you, I'm wide awake..." -You"haru" giggles, and Takeshi thanks her for coming back for him. She says that this time, it was the princess who came to wake up the prince. He asks what she's talking about, and she says the princess actually did it herself here. -She tells him he's been sleeping for a while. He asks how long, and she says "17 years." Takeshi says, "Y-You're kidding!" You"haru" replies "it's the truth." Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 New Route Part 17 (Finale) (end-game and Xbox 360 version spoilers):
-"Between, to Parallel World..."
-#08- Linked World. 2034, Linked World. We see the image from the end of the game. It says that now, all the worlds have become one since they've reached this conclusion. BW says everyone from all those worlds are all looking up at hims at the same time. Final monologue. "In all the worlds, I can see their smiles. That which I had wanted to see. I can hear the voices I wanted to hear. I wanted to see everyone smile... I wanted to hear everyone laugh... That's why I wished. To the three goddesses of fate who gave birth to this world. Their thoughts and wishes were recognized in a different form... my power... And they made miracles happen. To worlds spoken of... To worlds unspoken of... To all the worlds... They made miracles happen in them. They wanted to see everyone's smiles... They wanted to hear everyone's laughter... so they made miracles happen. That's why... (rest I've blanked, because it contains Never7 spoilers. I'll reveal the rest once I finish the translation.). For ever and ever... #Infinity: World of Ever17. The world that exists right now, at this very time, at this very instant. That's why all the worlds are... at this time, at this place, at this instant alone, overlapping, coexisting. Everyone is looking at me... everyone is recognizing my existence. That's why, at that instant, I was born. To the me in this world. That's why at that instant... I moved in order to make all of the miracles happen. By being within Hokuto and borrowing Takeshi's viewpoint... I learned of this world... In order to meet them." -We see an Infinity symbol in a starry sky. BW remarks about how he can see the many threads of history through this world, and how they're all linked. "That's why... right now, I'm being seen. That's why... right now, you are seeing. Right now, this world exists... Thank you. Because you were watching, I'm right here, right now." -The entire cast says that last line (though each in their own way). Coco finishes, and adds, "Sooooooo... Thank you!" -Everyone says, "Thank you!" all at once. BW repeats the route's opening monologue. -End credits. New song, "Another Sky", by VALSHE. It has the timeline from the original. Said timeline still has the Never7 bits from the original, acknowledging that Never7 still happened in this version (though it doesn't mention the 2019 events). -Achievements unlocked. Movie unlocked in Extra. "Free Talk" unlocked. "Free Talk" is a mode where you can click on a character's name, and their seiyuu talks about the role. I'll probably give those a listen to later. So yeah, that's it! Hope you enjoyed reading this! EDIT: I uploaded the New Route's ED on Youtube. Oops. Sorry, forgot to put on the spoiler tag
Spoiler for spoiler:
Thanks for the summary of the changes. It was a good read. What I like about the remake based on your summaries are the improvements in Kaburaki's character development. Other than that I think I prefer the original. I don't really like the idea of having a good end for all the routes since, I think that all the bad ends and other endings represent the hardships the characters had to go through just to get a good ending in which not everything is perfect but at least which makes everyone happy and this is one of the things that made Coco's route epic for me.

Thank you GundamAce for the Summary
So, am I the only one who take You's route as the first route? I choose The Kid's viewpoint without knowing that the other option will lead to other protagonist (in first play) but when I see the last route in the remake Spoiler for Last Route in Remake:
One of the impression I got about BW is that BW is the maker of the VN (or the remake)... since he could 'change' the bad ends

No. They do explain what caused the change in the Bad Endings, but I left out that part on purpose because it's a spoiler for Never7.

Many thanks for the wonderful summaries! Sounds like this is more of a treat for those already familiar with the original version, but the additional characterization for select characters along with extra explanations/information seems like it would've been nice to have regardless. I know you occasionally inserted your thoughts on the changes, but what were your overall thoughts on the remake as a whole?
Any chance this could get a port? Perhaps to the Vita? Anyone know how the sales have been? |
