Before going back Eureka tells Ao that the doctors said her baby is going to be female.

Let's assume this is true, and the baby in THIS Eureka's womb isn't Ao, isn't even male but actually a girl. If this is true, the two obvious options for Eureka's daughter are:

1) Naru

2) Elena


I'm betting for Elena myself, since she seems to hate Eureka for some reason, but we'll see.

all that well-wishing for her kid's well-being has that feeling of being a setup for something negative later. Maybe like the earlier speculation in here that there's something bad about the environment for half-human, half-coralian babies over on Eureka Seven's planet, and so for the second attempt Eureka went back to that parallel earth that had less trappar in the air...maybe?

He wants his war. And he is going to get it by portraying the Scub as invaders and Secrets as allies.

And those idiots in the Allied Forces seem to take his word for it without skepticism.

He tries to steal the Mark I while on it. Accusing Ao as an enemy since he is a hybrid.

He tries to shoot Ao only to be beaten up by the Okinawan SDF.

I have a feeling he is going to die horribly because he is too ambitious and an idiot.

Now back to Eureka's baby speculation is that Elena is her elder biological daughter due to her issues with her. She doesn't hate Ao though. Deeply cares for him in a your just my little brother while I'm the elder sort of way. She hates her mom though. Smells like abandonment issues.

We know that Ao is Eurekas child but she had another?

Or was Ao the child of a different timelines Eureka? I guess I need to wait for subs....

There are multiple Eurekas with multiple children. One Eureka gave birth to Ao and the other one gave birth to a girl.

On the one hand, Eureka clearly has a "Nirvash" in the past, she used it in the ep13 flashback and it's seemingly what Ao winds up piloting at the start of the series.

On the other hand, didn't the aerial footage of Eureka's arrival with Ao show her being dropped out of the "Nirvash" at high altitude (while the Nirvash keeps flying after dropping her off) ?

I mean it's possible the scenario was something like Eureka didn't want to make a splashy entrance into the past and the "Nirvash" was set to autopilot and find a hiding place away from prying eyes and easily-scared locals, but I don't think that's been addressed yet...am I missing something obvious?

Also it doesn't click to Eureka why Ao calls her Mama cause she is pregnant with a girl now. It likely dawns on Eureka who Ao is upon her second pregnancy.

Whatever circumstances that relates to Elena led to Eureka coming back for Ao's sake.

Elena probably hates Eureka because from her POV she abandoned her. Elena empathizes with Ao since they have the same raw deal. Plus Trapar Miller speculating Elena is related to it makes some damn sense if Elena is half Coralian.

Though her medical data is likely kept under wraps by the president. Also the surprise of the Americans on the DNA results. Protecting Elena is why the president wanted Gazelle to drop his inquiry.

Keep in mind that Elena as we know her is a very psychologically damaged person. She seems to have suppressed her original memories and identity. She takes on other personalities. She has multiple split personalities. She doesn't know who she is. Etc. There could also be damage to her physically as well when she was young, if she really was born in Eureka's world. Maybe it caused her to no longer have the Coralian perceptions which she should have.

it could be possible that Elena's biology is more closer related to Renton then Eureka. Whereas it is much different compared to Ao where is it the opposite

You're certainly right. I'm in the tiny "Elena is the offspring of Gidget and Moondoggie" camp fwiw, because looks and personality for her both seem to have a lot of overlap with those two (and loosely speaking the timing would be right for her to be older, since doggie-nii-san and Gidget were a couple years older than Renton and Eureka...).

On that theory she presumably can pilot IFOs due to trappar exposure either on the original world or from the transit. Psych damage or no, something just seems really wrong for her to be Eureka's daughter and to remember Eureka's name and looks well enough to hate her for leaving her behind, and at the same time not bring up being her daughter...but she's damaged enough I suppose anything's possible still, and maybe that's a twist they had to keep under wraps.
