Princess Lucia
I'm actually quite surprised that nobody had started this thread, now I'm in doubt whether this is gonna be well received or not. Long story short, this manga is pretty good. I've never read "My Balls" series, but I assume the premise is somewhat similar & there's also a hint of "Rosario + Vampire", but less violent & more comedic.
It is written by Seo Kouji, who's the author of Suzuka & Kimi no Iru Machi. It is released bi monthly & serialised in monthly Blade magazine. At the moment, 2 volumes are released. Spoiler:
The synopsis is Koizumi Yuta (a 14yr old boy) who was born with association of 6's, if he were to conceive a child with a demon, that offspring has unbelievable power. This is when Princess Lucia comes in, a demon herself, with an order by her father, she must procreate with him. However, the obstacles in her way are, essentially, guardian angels who takes form of sensei/classmates; Mikamoto El & Kasukabe Rie. Rie happens to be the girl Yuta likes. As the series goes on, more & more obstacles gets in the way.

It's the only series of Seo I tolerate.
It's actually not that bad, in a generic harem that's been done a million times before kind of way. Light entertainment, which is, well, infinitely preferably to wangst. |

I don't particularly dislike 'Kimi no Iru Machi', tried reading the 1st 40CH's, but it's too drama specific for my liking. In contrast with 'Princess Lucia', it's more light hearted & entertaining to read.
I wasn't too sure whether anybody liked this series, found it rather odd that NOBODY began this thread, but saw a few mentions on posts. Dunno what's the protocol for this, should we start the discussion from CH0+ or just general about the story so far? If we do the former, I reckon by the time we've reached up to the recent CH(16), a new CH(17) probably be uploaded by then.

The first 40+ chapters of KNIM were actually decent . Princess Lucia isn't bad and was even quite entertaining to read, but the last few chapters were - for me - just boring/uninteresting because the "fanservice-only" doesn't appeal to me in Seo's work. Then again, the only work of Seo I enjoyed was his one-shot Half and Half.

I can't say this is great other than Seo art but it ain't bad either and surprisely storywise as well. Some light fun to be had here, thats about it and it's not a series I keep with but read when the chapters pile up. Still think Half and Half is Seo's best work, rest has been a tad meh on the whole when compared to it.

What I don't like about this manga is just...well, i think Seo is not cut for drawing action scene as for how the relationship between Lucia and the main guy, I think they're quite cute. I hope this won't end like KNIM or Suzuka regarding the relatonship between the main guy and heroine...

Gasp! I remember this manga! Parts of it were sorta funny, but the art style often pissed me off. It reminds me HEAVILY of Hakoiri Devil Princess -- which is honestly better in EVERY way possible.
But I do like Lucia's chain tail. I though that was a neat design. |
