Relating to the economics do you think that scene was not meant to be analyzed this much and could only be leading on to Lawrence himself being tricked and than, I suppose finding out a way to overcome his situation?

I'm going to be honest. This series is really boring me. It seems like the author just kind of forced the plot along instead of letting it develop on its own. Like, there were all these talks about silver and all, but I can't follow it at all. Certain shocks come really forced, and it's just getting boring to watch, since I can't follow it.
They could have probably done better if they showed inner thoughts or revealed these things a little slower. Because right now, I have absolutely no idea what's going on. Something about silver coins and dueling companies and one conspiring or something...
