Sayo seemed quite pleased with herself, singing karaoke with Atsumi sitting on her lap. Not sure if Atsumi was quite so thrilled, however.
(She seems to think of her as a talking pet doll she can occasionally mooch obligation chocolate off of...)

I'm unsure what I think of this show at this point. While I do like the jokes in general and the 'Atsushi getting confused for a pedo' bits do seem to make me giggle still, at the same time, the joke is getting really old. Surely, they can do more with this premise than just 'big guy talking to little girl = pedo'?

If they recycle that molester gag one more time, I think that's all for me with this series - which would be a shame, as it has real charm when it wants to. It was about half-amusing the first time they used it and it's been getting progressively more irritating since.

Ep 12 = -_-
Poor Atsushi ... I tell ya, the "shtick" has been so overused that it is almost a certified recipe for head desking now.... Ah well. I am looking forward to season 2 in any event.

I don't know I'd go so far as to say that I enjoy the misunderstandings. However, I don't mind them like most people. I do like to see how many different ways the writers can get Atsushi into the same ending situation. Contrary to what most seem to think, the people who corral Atsushi have been been different every time.
I'm happy that the series is getting a second season. I look forward to those short little segments with much more anticipation than I ever expected I would.
