I agree. Exhibition matches are already excluded from stats (stdev and things that we use to calculate...stuff), but I'll also remove them from low/high highlights. However, the results of the exhibition matches will stay. I'll also draw a line to separate them from the main matches.

Space Opera Time:

And So It Begins... (Aquamarine 1)

The fragile peace between the KyoAni Empire and the Tenuous Alliance held for many months, but it would not last. The God Empress and the Kugimiya Knights would not let things go, despite the best efforts of the HnG Combine and the Clannad Republic to settle the long standing dispute between these two factions. While the Kugimiya Knights might be protectors of peace in the Galaxy, pride seems to be a failing they share. Mixed with a distrust of the God Empress Haruhi's intentions makes for a bad combination. A combination Commander Fate and Captain Nanoha are rightfull concerned about.

In a last ditch effort, President Tomoyo and President Hinagiku hold talks to form a settlement between the powers while they are still balanced in the Core Worlds. Talks go well at first, but then colonization efforts of the K-Onsonance members combined with the God Empress' fleet moving towards DEEN Directorate space put the Kugimiya Knights at full alert. President Tomoyo is forced to leave the talks being called underhanded and treacherous because of things she cannot control. A command goes out from the more reactionary fleet commanders to ambush the Clannad Republic fleet before it can reach the safety of its borders ends all hope of peace. The battered fleet of President Tomoyo calls for aid. To the Presidents aid comes her Republican forces from the Loli World of Mei and the Guardians of the Sacred Ushio supported by the Legendary Kagamin and Wing Commander Mio. This force crossing the border puts the entire JCS into motion. The cover fire allows President Tomoyo to escape from Hinagiku's fleet, but at great cost. The troops from the Loli-World of Mei are decimated by the Shining Blue Dragons of Ami, while the Guardians of the Sacred Ushio was pounced on by the Diet Warriors of Minorin. Even the Legendary Kagamin was defeated by the up and coming Techno-Magi Commander Misaka. Only the efforts of Wing Commander Mio allowed everyone to escape back to KyoAni Space by her masterful handling of Kugimiya Master Nagi.

Meanwhile the God Empress Haruhi was responding to a challenge issued by Saber of the DEEN Directorate. Escorted only the the Legendary Girl A's trade fleet, Haruhi set forth to the Directorate Border to see Saber. A gauntlet was thrown down. The DEEN Directorate would take their place in the wider galaxy in spite of the Tenuous Alliance and the KyoAni Empire. Haruhi, being all charge and no tactics, came full on at Saber. Saber however is skiled against such foolishness and managed to get a first strike in on the God Empress. While the battle would be even after that, the first strike would lead to Haruhi having to withdraw in defeat. The Judgement of the Council would send Magistrate Chizuru's fleet to block the God Empress route making it easier to defeat the Empire in detail if they didn't have their god. But Haruhi's biggest fan was there to defend the God Empress. The Legendary Girl A was able to bottle up Magistrate Chizuru's fleet long enough for the KyoAni force to fall back to the border without farther incident. However the war was now declared. The God Empress' pride had been wounded...there would be an accounting for this.

Elsewhere KyoAni Forces were attempting to make treaties and establish trade routes with other worlds. A mission was sent to former GONZO space to make a deal with the League of Extraordinary Gamers. Representative Ryou and Support Chief Ui would settle on establishing trade routes via the Twin Moons of Nodoka and the the Mihoko Pulsar.

Key Advisor Kyou would attempt to talk to the Angels via Ikaros. However talks seem to be someone odd with the Angel's powers causing distruptions here and there. While Kyou was able to gain some about of a standing with the Angels, it is unknown if they will stay out of the new War.

The Moe Marines of Mikuru were sent into the Nebula of the Golden Darkness to find survivors from the lost colony ship. While the Marines were unable to find the vessel, they did manage to find their way out again after being attacked by an unknown warship.

The Geass Regency had been a thorn in the KyoAni Empire's side for years now. Squadron Leader Yui was sent to test the Witch-Regent C.C.'s resolve. C.C. was every protective of her remaining space and fought Yui, but the KyoAni's fresh fighter squadrons were too much for the Witch-Regent. She fell back into the space. However since this was a test and not an invasion, Yui would also fall back to Imperial Space as per her orders...which she did happen to remember that day.

A combined for was sent to the Ghost of the Nebula to deturmine its purpose and origin. Intelligence Officer St. Nagato-chi and Nagisa the Bold would travel to this region of space. Their they were attacked by the Ghosts of the Negima Empire...the remains of the Shaft Treaty long thought destroyed. St, Nagato-chi was able to fend of the assault by the Hiragi but Nagisa's force needed to be withdrawn due to the attacks by the Nadeko. It seems the Shaft Treaty was not as dead as it was once believed, only the Negima Empire is no more. Its allies remain.

Internally, Key Intelligence Officer Ichinose would travel to Azunyan's World to get an update on the colonization efforts. The reports were better than could be hoped for and Kotomi-chan was lost in the beauty of the planet making her late for her next appointment, and thus could be subject to "bullying" by the God Empress or Key Advisor Kyou at some later date.

The Starfish Warriors of Fuko would conduct fleet manuvers with Balsamic Fleet Commander Tsukasa. Tsukasa is a little rusty and the large Starfish Battle Platforms manage to defeat her fleet via superior use of firepower due to Tsukasa grouping up her lighter forces instead of flanking the slower Platforms.

Meanwhile -
The Minami Family, somewhat forgotten about in the last war, would return to the scene as competition for Horo Enterprises. While Horo Enterprises was the main supplier of the Spice, the Minami Family had other means of getting the Spice, and would be willing to cut you a deal...for the right price. Chiaki-hime would try to get a market started with the Angels via Nymph. The deal almost went though, but the Angel's backed out at the last minute. Hime was not pleased by this. There would be an accounting for this slight. The Broken would demand it.

Horo Enterprises was dealing with the DEEN Directorate at that time via Director Minatsu of the Ministry of Peace. Horo would cut them a deal, but also gain a huge profit from this deal now that her source of the Spice could no longer be found on the galactic map.

Unknown pirates would strike at the JCS by destroying one of their civilian vessels, the Noda, near the Unknown Region. The Pirates hid behind the Comet Akeno to strike the vessel. There were no survivors.

Thus, the horn of war have been blown and the cannons have been shot. The war have finally started and the attacks are either quick and silent or slow but painful. The meeting between Grand Master Shana and Commander Fate have resulted with Shana securing The Tenuous Alliance and thus keeping the front secured for a while.Meanwhile, Nanoha went toward the DEEN Directorate in order for them to secure an alliance but alas, the DEEN Directorate Council President Kurimu have rejected the proposal and have damaged Nanoha escorts in the meeting and forced Nanoha tho retreats to the defensive line. The battle between DEEN Ministry of Truth Mafuyu and Kugimiya Master Taiga have been a tough fight but its finally ended with Tiger triumphs over the gamer and forced her to escape from the battle.

Meanwhile, In the front lines, The presidents have finally managed to finished their meeting with President Hinagiku unable to stop the KyoAni Empire treachery of pulling the trigger and have taken the action herself by ambushing President Tomoyo's fleets.While President Hinagiku managed to ambushed President Tomoyo, Kugimiya Master Nagi doesn't have the same luck and quickly overrun by the new and better KyoAni Champion Wing Commander Mio. All hope is not lose however with Techno-Commander Mikoto managed to destroy The Elder Twin Kagami throught lots of tricks.

In the defensive line however, The DEEN Directorate Red Mage Rin have managed to defeat Legendary Maria of the HnG Combine and thus going deeper toward the main worlds. Reports saying that she is currently with Key Advisor Kyou of the KyoAni Empire. While Legendary Maria have been defeated by Rin, The Dragon Dominions Diet Warrior Minor and Shining Blue Dragon Ami managed to stops the attacks from the Key Forces Commander "The Sacred Ushio" and "Loli World of Mei". Techno-Lieutenant, Saten have managed to make a miracle and destroying "The Legendary World of Rika-chama" fleets and forced her to turned the ships toward the Ghosts of the Nebula sector.

With that, the first blood have been drawn and the third War have begun.

All hope is not lose however with Techno-Commander Mikoto managed to destroy The Elder Twin Kagami throught lots of tricks.

In the defensive line however, The DEEN Directorate Red Mage Rin have managed to defeat Legendary Maria of the HnG Combine and thus going deeper toward the main worlds. Reports saying that she is currently with Key Advisor Kyou of the KyoAni Empire. While Legendary Maria have been defeated by Rin, The Dragon Dominions Diet Warrior Minor and Shining Blue Dragon Ami managed to stops the attacks from the Key Forces Commander "The Sacred Ushio" and "Loli World of Mei". Techno-Lieutenant, Saten have managed to make a miracle and destroying "The Legendary World of Rika-chama" fleets and forced her to turned the ships toward the Ghosts of the Nebula sector.

With that, the first blood have been drawn and the third War have begun.

Any other year these would be top tier matches. I can only imagine what the final day for aqua will look like. (Although Taiga / Azusa and Kyou / Tomoyo could be interesting matches)

(Missed one) 08/09 Izumi Konata could be dangerous. This could either be a close match with Mikoto, or it could be a tune up against a tough opponent to get Mikoto ready for the heavy hitters.

(Aquamarine 1) image by melange The fragile peace between the KyoAni Empire and the Tenuous Alliance held for many months, but it would not last. The God Empress and the Kugimiya Knights would not let things go, despite the best efforts of the HnG Combine and the Clannad Republic to settle the long standing dispute between these two factions. While the Kugimiya Knights might be protectors of peace in the Galaxy, pride seems to be a failing they share. Mixed with a distrust of the God Empress Haruhi's intentions makes for a bad combination. A combination Commander Fate and Captain Nanoha are rightfull concerned about. In a last ditch effort, President Tomoyo and President Hinagiku hold talks to form a settlement between the powers while they are still balanced in the Core Worlds. Talks go well at first, but then colonization efforts of the K-Onsonance members combined with the God Empress' fleet moving towards DEEN Directorate space put the Kugimiya Knights at full alert. President Tomoyo is forced to leave the talks being called underhanded and treacherous because of things she cannot control. A command goes out from the more reactionary fleet commanders to ambush the Clannad Republic fleet before it can reach the safety of its borders ends all hope of peace. The battered fleet of President Tomoyo calls for aid. To the Presidents aid comes her Republican forces from the Loli World of Mei and the Guardians of the Sacred Ushio supported by the Legendary Kagamin and Wing Commander Mio. This force crossing the border puts the entire JCS into motion. The cover fire allows President Tomoyo to escape from Hinagiku's fleet, but at great cost. The troops from the Loli-World of Mei are decimated by the Shining Blue Dragons of Ami, while the Guardians of the Sacred Ushio was pounced on by the Diet Warriors of Minorin. Even the Legendary Kagamin was defeated by the up and coming Techno-Magi Commander Misaka. Only the efforts of Wing Commander Mio allowed everyone to escape back to KyoAni Space by her masterful handling of Kugimiya Master Nagi. Meanwhile the God Empress Haruhi was responding to a challenge issued by Saber of the DEEN Directorate. Escorted only the the Legendary Girl A's trade fleet, Haruhi set forth to the Directorate Border to see Saber. A gauntlet was thrown down. The DEEN Directorate would take their place in the wider galaxy in spite of the Tenuous Alliance and the KyoAni Empire. Haruhi, being all charge and no tactics, came full on at Saber. Saber however is skiled against such foolishness and managed to get a first strike in on the God Empress. While the battle would be even after that, the first strike would lead to Haruhi having to withdraw in defeat. The Judgement of the Council would send Magistrate Chizuru's fleet to block the God Empress route making it easier to defeat the Empire in detail if they didn't have their god. But Haruhi's biggest fan was there to defend the God Empress. The Legendary Girl A was able to bottle up Magistrate Chizuru's fleet long enough for the KyoAni force to fall back to the border without farther incident. However the war was now declared. The God Empress' pride had been wounded...there would be an accounting for this. Elsewhere KyoAni Forces were attempting to make treaties and establish trade routes with other worlds. A mission was sent to former GONZO space to make a deal with the League of Extraordinary Gamers. Representative Ryou and Support Chief Ui would settle on establishing trade routes via the Twin Moons of Nodoka and the the Mihoko Pulsar. Key Advisor Kyou would attempt to talk to the Angels via Ikaros. However talks seem to be someone odd with the Angel's powers causing distruptions here and there. While Kyou was able to gain some about of a standing with the Angels, it is unknown if they will stay out of the new War. The Moe Marines of Mikuru were sent into the Nebula of the Golden Darkness to find survivors from the lost colony ship. While the Marines were unable to find the vessel, they did manage to find their way out again after being attacked by an unknown warship. The Geass Regency had been a thorn in the KyoAni Empire's side for years now. Squadron Leader Yui was sent to test the Witch-Regent C.C.'s resolve. C.C. was every protective of her remaining space and fought Yui, but the KyoAni's fresh fighter squadrons were too much for the Witch-Regent. She fell back into the space. However since this was a test and not an invasion, Yui would also fall back to Imperial Space as per her orders...which she did happen to remember that day. A combined for was sent to the Ghost of the Nebula to deturmine its purpose and origin. Intelligence Officer St. Nagato-chi and Nagisa the Bold would travel to this region of space. Their they were attacked by the Ghosts of the Negima Empire...the remains of the Shaft Treaty long thought destroyed. St, Nagato-chi was able to fend of the assault by the Hiragi but Nagisa's force needed to be withdrawn due to the attacks by the Nadeko. It seems the Shaft Treaty was not as dead as it was once believed, only the Negima Empire is no more. Its allies remain. Internally, Key Intelligence Officer Ichinose would travel to Azunyan's World to get an update on the colonization efforts. The reports were better than could be hoped for and Kotomi-chan was lost in the beauty of the planet making her late for her next appointment, and thus could be subject to "bullying" by the God Empress or Key Advisor Kyou at some later date. The Starfish Warriors of Fuko would conduct fleet manuvers with Balsamic Fleet Commander Tsukasa. Tsukasa is a little rusty and the large Starfish Battle Platforms manage to defeat her fleet via superior use of firepower due to Tsukasa grouping up her lighter forces instead of flanking the slower Platforms. ---------------------------------------------- Meanwhile - The Minami Family, somewhat forgotten about in the last war, would return to the scene as competition for Horo Enterprises. While Horo Enterprises was the main supplier of the Spice, the Minami Family had other means of getting the Spice, and would be willing to cut you a deal...for the right price. Chiaki-hime would try to get a market started with the Angels via Nymph. The deal almost went though, but the Angel's backed out at the last minute. Hime was not pleased by this. There would be an accounting for this slight. The Broken would demand it. Horo Enterprises was dealing with the DEEN Directorate at that time via Director Minatsu of the Ministry of Peace. Horo would cut them a deal, but also gain a huge profit from this deal now that her source of the Spice could no longer be found on the galactic map. Unknown pirates would strike at the JCS by destroying one of their civilian vessels, the Noda, near the Unknown Region. The Pirates hid behind the Comet Akeno to strike the vessel. There were no survivors. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First Blood (J.C perspective) by: Wolfnagi Thus, the horn of war have been blown and the cannons have been shot. The war have finally started and the attacks are either quick and silent or slow but painful. The meeting between Grand Master Shana and Commander Fate have resulted with Shana securing The Tenuous Alliance and thus keeping the front secured for a while.Meanwhile, Nanoha went toward the DEEN Directorate in order for them to secure an alliance but alas, the DEEN Directorate Council President Kurimu have rejected the proposal and have damaged Nanoha escorts in the meeting and forced Nanoha tho retreats to the defensive line. The battle between DEEN Ministry of Truth Mafuyu and Kugimiya Master Taiga have been a tough fight but its finally ended with Tiger triumphs over the gamer and forced her to escape from the battle. Meanwhile, In the front lines, The presidents have finally managed to finished their meeting with President Hinagiku unable to stop the KyoAni Empire treachery of pulling the trigger and have taken the action herself by ambushing President Tomoyo's fleets.While President Hinagiku managed to ambushed President Tomoyo, Kugimiya Master Nagi doesn't have the same luck and quickly overrun by the new and better KyoAni Champion Wing Commander Mio. All hope is not lose however with Techno-Commander Mikoto managed to destroy The Elder Twin Kagami throught lots of tricks. In the defensive line however, The DEEN Directorate Red Mage Rin have managed to defeat Legendary Maria of the HnG Combine and thus going deeper toward the main worlds. Reports saying that she is currently with Key Advisor Kyou of the KyoAni Empire. While Legendary Maria have been defeated by Rin, The Dragon Dominions Diet Warrior Minor and Shining Blue Dragon Ami managed to stops the attacks from the Key Forces Commander "The Sacred Ushio" and "Loli World of Mei". Techno-Lieutenant, Saten have managed to make a miracle and destroying "The Legendary World of Rika-chama" fleets and forced her to turned the ships toward the Ghosts of the Nebula sector. With that, the first blood have been drawn and the third War have begun. __________________
