No, I'm sure he's done his business before visiting the ruins. When you've secured an area and still have the guard bring along her big guns, you really don't deserve to be a Prince. While arrogance can kill, having none of it won't do either.

Father said to play the game, so I'll assume that it occured after one of Squad 7's skirmishes.

It gave Max the location of something he was looking for. Which I believe he mentioned in Ep 7 at any rate.

Watched a subbed version. Time for my review to be updated.
Spoiler for Episode 8, subbed:

Subs didn't change too much, but it's always good to understand what's being said.

To be fair, the first video had the sword getting hit by a bullet with a far greater FPS and punch with multiple impacts.

Either way, they sure don't make swords like that here where I come from.

Yeah the second they're on screen Maximilian and Selvaria shows how badass they are.
On another note. This is my favorite show of the season.

Also. Both videos were equally awesome in showing the resilience of the Katana.

Watched the sub and....they just skipped the coolest battle in the game and replaced it with filler character developement.

What battle you ask? The one with the HUGE EFFIN TANK.

How can you possibly remove that battle?

Easy, they did.

Just because the battle with the tank was removed doesn't mean it's never going to happen.

the glasses guy need to thank Welkin. If he had not broken that girls heart she would not have needed a new love so bad that he was able to sneak in. Welkin change her to a more kind and sweet girl, a broken heart can make people have a new perspective of how other feel.

LOL And here I thought Valkyria Chronicles was a military strategy anime... I was starting to enjoy this as one of those RARE "real" anime but noooo, it was too good to be true! In fact they threw in the Darcsen and Valkurye (or whatever) crap!
Now we have the grey aired girl who is able to cut a bullet in two with a sword! Yesssss, of course.
Another show for kiddos I guest.

Er..... you're barking up the wrong medium, hotshot. The strategy and related stuff is in the game. Besides, all the fancy things that Selvaria does in the anime will be done to you in the game. You've been warned.

I think he never played the game and just complains that it looked like a serious war strategy anime and not war strategy/dragonball mix. But the truth is that the game is like that as well. Not very realistic.

Ehi dude you're not talking to a dog so start with talking politely.
Besides I don't give a damn about the game: I started watching the anime and I know only the anime. I expected it to be some way and then it turned out to be different: I only stated that.

God, is the standard of English so low that one has never heard of the idiom "barking up the wrong tree?"

i actually prefer the way they did it in the game cutscenes. The changes made in the anime makes the same sequence look more mundane and generic. The cutscene actually packs more impacts to it.
AND THEY BETTER NOT REMOVE THAT BATTLE FROM THE SERIES!!!

Guess you should have done more research on the anime/game before viewing it huh? Not our faults.
