It's clear Moka's memory is fuzzy as she doesn't know what's what yet. Damn another month now just as it's getting good...

Very interesting, indeed, some of us had theorized that Akua would kidnap Moka, but Moka going with her of her own free will is also another possibility and it has happened.

She wants to learn about her past from Akua, and her mother, thats the reason shes going, as for Hokuto and Kiria, good thing they showed up.

And the transport is a blimp eh?, interesting, thats a very very slow aerial vehicle, which could indicate a battle in the blimp itself.

I can't help but think of those dragon like creatures, their so familiar, or perhaps they have some relation with the eggs.

Well, I couldn't look at the whole raws ... yet... but I think that Moka did that to protect everyone else from Akua...

Though thinking about it, this particular development is going to cause Tsukune to undergo some serious character development, especially if he wants to get Moka back... I wouldn't be even surprised if Tsukune's "Shinso blood" wouldn't awaken in the next chapter, since I believe that the separation between him and Moka, could cause such a power to awaken within Tsukune .... and Hokuto and Kiria have appeared now, just for Tsukune to have someone to fight against...

Well, we will see about that, in the next chapter... but after such a shocking plot twist ... I wouldn't be surprised if something like that happened next...

After all, this particular development is a perfect opportunity to develop Tsukune's character and his vampire abilities, especially since he can't depend on Inner Moka anymore ... so, I think the plot of the story is going to become much more interesting with Moka gone, since we will finally learn to what kind of lengths Tsukune is going to go ... to get Moka back...

It's not like he's alone in this ... since I believe that Tsukune will have Tohou Fuhai's and the Headmaster's help on this... not to mention the help of the rest of the Newspaper club, but I believe that the time for Tsukune to shine ... and show us that he is the "true protagonist" of the R+V manga ... has now begun...

It also shows a flashback of Akasha where she whispered in Akua's ear, but we didn't see what Akasha told her it was back in chapter 33, but now in this chapter it would appear that Akua was telling Touhou about what Akasha wanted her to do, which is a very good thing.

Akua would have been beaten, she didn't damage Touhou in the least, but the fight was interrupted do to Moka's arrival.

As for Akua's goal, its about what Akasha whispered to her in chapter 33, in chapter 33 after Akasha was finished Akua replyed "wh-what do you mean!?, then what about you and Moka", which means that Moka's and Akasha's health is involved, even though Akasha is "currently missing".

Thanks to Chris38 and the translation, it appears that Hokuto and Kiria are gonna ally with Tsukune in order to get Moka back.

Looks like Akua is doing the task that Akasha whispered to her in the ear, and Touhou knows what that is as well.

I didn't mean to say that Hokuto and Kiria are going to allay with Tsukune to get Moka back... we still don't know what is their aim in appearing in front of Tsukune and saying something like that...

After all, we already know that both Hokuto and Kiria are member's of Fairy Tale, so I wouldn't say that they have purely good intentions in their appearance at the end of chapter 37...

Regarding what Akua and Moka are going to do, right now ... it's pretty much unknown .... while, it might have something to do, with what Akasha whispered to Akua, (since it had been briefly mentioned in chapter 37 ... ) ... we still don't know what that was actually about, and until that is confirmed I wouldn't speculate too much about it...

After all, with the current chapter, it's pretty much confirmed that you can't predict everything that happens in the R+V manga ... I mean ... probably no one expected (before the current chapter came out) that Moka would leave on her own like that ... so the same could be said, about what Akua is going to do right now ... even if she does some kind of task... given by her from Akasha .... there is nothing telling us, that Ikeda won't pull out another plot twist, that is going to change the situation .... again... and basically cause us to throw away, most of the theories that we previously had ...

I mean that's basically the reason why we read manga's ... , because they are pretty unpredictable ... especially if the author surprises his reader's ... like he did in the current chapter...

Do you really think those two came all that way just to fight with Tsukune?, while Kiria is in the condition to fight, Hokuto is not, unless hes faking the paralysis in his legs.

They both know that what Tsukune wants is the opposite of what Fairy Tale is doing, from your translation, their basically offering their help to Tsukune, in their own way, even if they are with Fairy Tale, they probably joined the organization just for the hell of it.

But your right, predicting something is difficult, i just can't help but think this after seeing the raws.

I agree with Chris that Ikeda probably did this for Tsukune's benefit to get stronger. Sure they have a goal and that is fighting FT, but that goal is such a wide erffort. This gives Tsukune a single thing to concentrate and use it to fuel his spirit. Like when those NY mobsters kidnapped Moka. He had a certain goal and it was used to reignite his reason for training so hard...

As for the part about Akasha whispering whatever to Akua. I'm pretty sure she didn't tell her to get Moka at so and so age and slaughter everyone that get's in her way. Akua is a bloodthirsty killer and probably warped whatever Akasha did tell her for her own twisted goals.

Moka as seen is still out of it as far as her memory and once she's able to comprehend it all I'm sure she won't be such a willing sister, and that's when Tsukune and gang will jump in...

Your right this is definetly a chance for Tsukune to get stronger.

Your also right that Akasha didn't tell Akua that, but, it has something to do with getting Moka and is about Moka's and Akasha's health, its not surprising that Akua did that, the Wong family is the Miu families rival, as we should all know.

However, being a ruthless assassin that is to be expected, even if Akua is to get Moka in order to complete Akasha's task that she gave her, either way, this all shows that the final battle is definetly gonna be with Alucard.

Touhou Fuhai has also figured out what Akasha whispered to Akua, or is trying to figure out what it was, though he didn't expect it would lead to his family being harmed, though Akasha most definetly didn't tell Akua to do that, Akua did it because it was her mission to retrieve Moka, we know that Akasha is one of the good guys, so we know that whatever Akasha told Akua is good, for the safety of Moka herself, besides im not worried that Moka is with Akua, Omote-Moka is with her as well.

But, this manga and its plot twists, are great, things are beginning to get real interesting, how exciting.

I think it would be so cool if they asked Tsukune to join Fairy Tale in order to get to Moka, a good guy pretending to be a bad guy, thats classic, of course, since the plot twists in this series are so unpredictable i wouldn't be surprised if something like that happened.

A few side-information: The first line is really meant in this way. Japanese people are very indirect with affection and in rank of "directness" it goes: Suki/To like -> daisuki/to like very much (often used instead of "suki" as to love in romance mangas when a confession occurs) and the most "intimate" affection ai suru/to love (like Akasha used to tell that she loves Moka).

And Touhou's line: Remember when Akasha was whispering something to Akua during the fight with Alucard? That's the meaning behind it.

... but rather then Moka's health ... I think it's more related with Moka's Shinso power's after all and considering the desires that Akua had in her childhood ... well, from the looks of it Akua's promise with Akasha as well as her own desires are closely related to Moka's Shinso power's ... and I'm still a little hesitant to say it ... but, it still doesn't bring us any closer to revealing ... what Akua is actually going to do...

Still, if we consider what kind of words Akua used ... I don't think she has any ill intentions foreword Moka ... but I think we should wait for the revelation on what kind of promise Akua has made with Akasha, before we further speculate on this particular topic, but there is still one thing that might have a pretty big impact on the current situation...

Thanks for the translation, but i can honestly say that, Akua's intentions are actually "good" for once and now shes determined to do everything in her power to protect Moka.

The "promise" that was mentioned was what Akasha requested Akua to do, which helps the situation regarding Moka's safety, since the promise has yet to be revealed, we still don't know what Akua's up to, like you said, but once it is then we will know what Akasha wanted Akua to do.

Since Akua had to wait for the seal to be removed in order to fulfill what Akasha wanted, then of course like you said its related to Moka's Shinso power, with this partial translation of the raws, we can finally rule out that Akua's original goal, which was to obtain the Shinso blood and achieve world domination, is no longer the case.

So, the meaning to what Akasha whispered to Akua, which was the "promise", was out of love, basically?

Well, in my opinion ... I wouldn't go with my assumptions that far, since, as this chapter proved to us, Ikeda is pretty good at surprising his reader's and even if it currently seems like Akua has no ill intentions foreword Moka, we don't know if that won't change in the future chapter's...

After all, if everything was "fine" with Moka departing with Akua ... then Tsukune wouldn't have any role to play in this particular situation... but the appearance of Kiria and Hokuto, at the end of the chapter, seems to suggest to me, that we don't have the whole portrayal of the current situation ... yet.
