The EFF doesn't attack Mars because they probably can't, I would assume logistics issue. I'm sure if they could, they would have, and if Flit could fire that laser and kill all of them, going by his attitude this second gen, I have no doubt that he would fire it without hesitation .

That doesn't make any sense. They made the decision to leave the sphere to colonise Mars. Granted they have a right to be mad at the Federation for abandoning them but they never owned Earth in the first place. Regardless it doesn't excuse them for attacking random colonies at will either. So far the Federation's been defensive and HAS been talking with the Vagans. Even Flint's subordinate mentioned this so the Federation had been trying to resolve things diplomatically. We also know that it's practical for the Vagans to integrate easily with society as well. It's not like Mars turned their bodies into mutants or something. However, we now know that there's possibly a third faction which maybe driving the Vagans due to Grodeck's death which I believe will be expanded upon with Kio. Quote:

And they are led by a dictator with a personality cult. Ezelcant promises to end conflict. Earth Sphere has been at peace for 100 years with advanced mobile suit technologies banned by treaty. Here is what really happened. Vegans have been killing each other for 150 years over scarce resources until this guy, Ezelcant, came with the idea to kill and enslave everybody back on Earth, steal everything they have, so they won't be in poverty. Hate to pull a Godwin but... Vegan's are Nazis. Being fanatics and racists with a genocide bent cinches it. No wonder Flit views them as inhuman. It's because they've abandoned their humanity. |

Aaaand Asemu's failure to follow orders finally has some real consequences.
Good job on getting your CO killed due to your repeated childish incompetence, Asemu. "If only I had done better..." No. If only you had listened to freaking orders for once in your life. And oh look, Asemu is still gonna somehow win by getting angry and flailing around. Clearly that is better than working as a team... It's just too bad Asemu won't die for his incompetence, but then he couldn't marry a bland no-character-development girl for Age3. Here's to hoping Kio is actually fun to watch. Asemu certainly wasn't. PS: OLOL -- "SUPER PILOT" is superior to X-Rounder and immune to their abilities! Brilliant writing! Last edited by JediNight; 2012-04-09 at 02:24. |

And Asume takes another step further into the abyss.
That said, with his distractions and concerns discarded for the sake of vengeance, Asume is a deadly war machine. No matter how you spin it, Decil (as crazy as he may be) is a top ranked X-Rounder and if he cannot read Asemu, then perhaps, for once, Zeheart might fight our hero without his crutch. The fight between Asemu and Decil mirrored the Flit and Decil one but here, instead of showcasing that Asemu had some greater magic powers ala his father before him, it shows that he is a super pilot with no need for said magic powers. Still, I'm pretty sure he's going to die or go MIA with implied death by the end of this. Also, music when Flit realizes that Woolf is dead is awesome.

What are you talking about, Vena? His "super powers" were that he was magically unreadable by Desil for the sake of plot convenience. It had nothing to do with skill. You don't magically become a better pilot just by getting angry. Asemu has been getting angry all arc so far, and it's gotten him nowhere. That's his whole problem. He's a petulant child that doesn't listen to anyone. He's a liability and needs to be grounded until he grows up.

Think the only downside to Zeheart about Desil's death is that it seemed to level up Asemu. Having the Gundam become even more lethal clearly isn't going to help the plan out too much . His Magicians 8 (or whatever is left of them now) were getting owed by Age 2 anyways.
Just a bad move Asemu. I mean sure he probably wasn't told that Decil could randomly control units and if it wasn't for that he probably would have been fine, but it was still reckless. Can't say what might have happened otherwise, but clearly Woolf dying here proved that wasn't a good move. Though I could see them twisting not chasing wildly after Desil as leading to their 'help' getting grabbed and then Woolf having to sacrifice himself to save them. If he's going to die anyways might as well use it to motivate Asemu. Was nice knowing you Woolf. Kicked a lot of ass and went out with a solid speech. Besides you are pretty much the driving force of the scariest thing in that battle so that's not bad. Quote:
In the end going off on his own though did cost Asemu. Though if anyone told me to wait for Arisa and company I'd probably stop and laugh . Was Woolf planning on using them for shields as they moved in on Decil?

Even in the context of the Age universe, Flit showed in earlier episodes that fodder units can be effective at controlling the movements of superior units. (Ex: When they forced the Magicians 8 to retreat)
So the point is that you provide more sources of fire for them to have to keep track of and they won't be able to dodge all of it. Even if they were only doing suppressing fire to the sides, they could hem in a suit to a narrow window or cover the back of Asemu. Certainly had he been with the group and been pinned, they could have been shooting at the two side units, or been covering Woolf's back as Desil's unit came in. |

The episode did have one redeeming feature, namely that Desil finally bit the dust, and not while fighting Flit... even if the fight was scripted with plot convenience. |

-Vegan attack many colonies without military power and killed every one there.
- Refuse every peace offer with EFA.. Yet you want Flit not to erase them? You mean it's better for human to be dead or slave than to fight back? And how Asemu death will open Flint eye? wont it just prove his point? And about not able to read Asemy... I think it's same as Wolf where they read it but it's pointless since even when they able to get behind his back he still can react which made it same as not able to read his move(I know he will go to left but he still can doge it) |

Yeah, I do. The Vagans are indoctrinated. They are nothing but mere puppets for Sir Ezelcant's plan. Eradicate the Vagans, then what? They are still women and children at Mars, waiting to be reunited. And kill them, you don't get to the source of the cult: Sir Ezelcant. He can continue to fleech people of their wills and the war will never end.

Well it would be a big surprise for the whole fandom if Asemu bit the dust. Kio would become his sisters kid with lets say Max.. A brilliant turn of events. Another hate point for grandpa Flit :
Flit: Kio, the Vegans killed your uncle. He was a great pilot but not an x-rounder like you.. Kio: Me want milk and cookies.. |

It's ok for Vegan to kill Flit(human) whole family even though they done nothing wrong against them. But it's wrong for human to fight back even if it to protect their own life and family from death/slavery... And you are contradiction your own self.... EFA the one who abandoned them in Mars not the woman and children in civilian colonies.... Oh wait they are human not Vegan so it's ok to slaughter them.... |
