On a side note, looks like there's an announcement in this chapter about Bleach novel . It'll be written by Narita (Durarara, Baccano). I'm actually more interested in that than this chapter

Can someone tell me whether it's true or not? The announcement is supposed to be on the color page, that small column on the right.

Holy crap, are you serious? If there's any writer than can handle multiple characters in a story, it's this genius. I hope he'll have a lot of leeway to do whatever he wants to the story.

One question, why is chapter released? I though it would be 2 week break i.e. no manga for 2 weeks. Is it an early release, so next week = no manga or what?

Other than the obvious lack of content, I have to admit, this was a pretty awesome chapter. Still don't understand how Ichigo can have deep wells of shinigami power when he was supposed to have lost all of it but whatever...

his riatsu is probaly connected to his very soul or something like that.

Anyway looks like this arc is finished just some mopping up to do..i hope ginjo doesnt pull a aizens "just as planned" move, ive seen enough of them to last a life time

Yea this, his old man said he would lose his powers before but obviously we knew that was just words and he would get them back by some means but not by just taking in a little jump start from others.
I would like to say I expected more from it but don't think it was ever on the table.

If I had to say one thing is I can hand to to Kubo, he can at times make a chapter that really doesn't go anywhere quite cool and awesome in a way.
That I have to admit is some ability he has

Only thing I cna say is totally digging Ken-chan's new look much much better than before, wasn't really fond of the bells things.

Now wheres the rest?!

Ginjou is truly John Travolta lol.
Aside from obvious fanservice appearance of captains, chapter was ok, yet with again disappointing Getsuga Tenshou that did nothing..

I think the GT misfired and accidentally hit the manga page. Good chapter, for all that Ichigo is worth, it's good to see him confident again.

Byakuya's lost his Kenseikan hair-pieces and scarf! Combined with his new haori (with the collar and short sleeves), it seems like he's spent too much time around Kenpachi in the past year or so - Kenpachi's lack of bells is suggesting that the process is not just one-way - soon the two characters will be near-identical, and fans of both will weep.

By the way, does anyone else think that Renji's lack of fukutaicho armband is significant?(considering the amount of attention to detail shown in the big, two-page fanservice drawing)
