I'll give credit where credit is due, this show managed to make me dislike all characters besides Claire, but special award goes to Misty, bloody incompetent woman being sold by the narrative as the ultimate detective, oblivious to anything going on around her... not that Luke himself was much better, but she annoyed me far more

They must be setting up a Heroes for Hire show, probably Daughters of the Dragon as well.

I am not sure they are allowed to. It would require new contracts with Disney.
They could simply make a new Luke Cage season with "Heroes for Hire" as a subtitle. But instead they just cancelled it outright. Doing that makes a new Heroes for Hire under Netflix, very difficult.

Whether it will be at Neflix or Disney's new streaming platform is the question, but Netflix's Marvel stuff is way too popular to simply be gotten rid of, especially if Disney wants their platform to take off.

I'm figuring that Disney wants a Heroes for Hire show, since Netflix has probably locked up the rights to a Luke Cage and a Iron Fist show.
