Great, I'm really looking forward to see what's going to happen in this volume. This time volume 21 looks more promising, considering the previous 2 were not that good IMO.

I'm hoping that they introduce a new main antagonist that won't disappear or be defeated after a few volumes.

By 2 prev vols did you mean vol 19 or the SS?
IMO, vols 2/3 contents of vol 19 was good, the only things that tilted why it looked bad because Gu Jie's anticlimax, and 1/3 was basically not things reader wanted, Masaki's diary.

The character who potentially be enemy already mentioned in epilogue vol 20 and in preview, MacLeod (politically though).
I think, no enemies capable enough to defeat Tatsuya in CQC combat so far, except Yakumo. He would still pressed hard when battling with Yanagi or Kazama though, but neither Tatsuya or them think that they need to defeat enemy by himself.

I remember what Tatsuya said to Mikihiko during 9SC Arc, in the gist, it was foolish to think he just had to defeat the enemy alone when it's easier to work in team to defeat the enemy

Volume 19 was a let down for me to be honest, like 40% good and 60% average. For some reason the plot was going into a really interesting argument, showing us more about the actual 10MC organization, the Yotsubas, more screentime of Maya but suddenly all of that was left aside for a while. Then we got the SS which for me was plain boring.

Volume 21 brings that topic I like a lot back to the table and I expect to see more about ir in the future. For now i just wanna know more info

Really? Who's genius idea was this? While making Tatsuya's identity public could act as a deterrent, he'll likely be targeted by assassins 24/7. That is if the humanist and anti magic movement don't tear him apart first.

But with Yotsuba name, that will make assassins think twice or thrice before decide to assassinate or go near him.

If that's true, this might serve as major obstacle for him to implement ESCAPE when trying to find sponsor... I mean, while people will now hold him in high regards whether he's a high school student or not, a human nuclear weapon trying to create a sustainable and safe magic for magicians might sow some doubts to the sponsor

...Well, no, probably not. Him being a Yotsuba himself is already scary enough as it is if the reason is solely because those sponsors are too scared to back him up.

Not even the Yotsuba name might be enough to deter others. Tatsuya's magic could destroy the world. No other strategic class magician could do that. His very existence poses too much of a threat.

Yeah, 10MC Arc certainly built in nicely, and I agree the end kinda rushed, and the enemy seemed amateur considering it's the enemy that always pulling string behind the scenes. Well, since he lost his tools (Blanche, No Head Dragon, Zhou), it's sure make him impatient.

I really hope this is true, as well as him being identified as Silver too. Would make the story alot more interesting, and i'd love to see everyone's reactions and relationships with Sasuoni after the reveal.

・新ソ連、ガス抜きのために日本へ侵攻。佐渡島での前哨戦でトゥマーン・ボンバを防いだ代償として剛毅、魔 法師として暫く療養生活。治療は夕歌さんが担当
・新ソ連の戦略級魔法師は10人以上（クローンらしい？）
・魔装大隊、互いの立場を考えて達也と距離を置く方針（達也に依存しないためと達也と懇意になりすぎること でマテバの安易な使用を政府に考えさせないため）
・米軍によるマテバ魔法師捕獲計画が再始動。シルヴィアが日本に派遣される
・新ソ連、北海道沖で日本海軍と対峙。達也によりトゥマーン・ボンバ発動が阻止されるも、グラムディスパー ジョンが効かない魔法であることが判明→新ソ連撤退。

・エドワード・クラーク（レイモンドの親父？）がフリズスキャルヴの開発者でした。会議で達也の孤立を確認 の後、達也を無力化or捕獲のために何らかの策を練る


起こったことはこんなもん？師族会議編よりは良い出だしのように感じた。信長の野望で言うところの「達也包 囲網」が形成され始めた感じだった。次は動乱の序章編（下）。
