I haven't see the former, but this definitely isn't like Bleach as this is not about Death Gods, but rather Gods and dead people in general.

Just watch episode 1 of Kami-sama.... it's enough info to tell that this two are so close alike.

No, Kamisa-sama Hajimemashita and Noragami aren't similar at all. The 2 characters may be similar in that they are deities, but they have a lot of differences.
Spoiler for space:

A couple of weeks ago they posted this photo in their twitter of the storyboards for the first episodes and the manga volumes in the back.

Close is not the same as similar.

The manga has been really good so far. I'm glad is getting an anime adaptation.

Oh man, Hiroshi Kamiya is playing Yato? I won't be able to see him as anything other than Araragi. The supernatural setting doesn't help either

Still can't believe BONES is doing this.

Then again they did surprise me when picked up Zetsuen no Tempest. Eitherway looking good!

Hiroshi Kamiya is an odd choice for Yato. I was expecting a more rough, deeper voice.

He voiced Quon in the six Towa no Quon "movies" from 2011, apart from that it seems like nothing else, not even a bit part. So 2 series he's worked with Bones for 2 main character roles.

Well he isn't using a deep voice for this character but other characters he has voiced have deeper voices like Law in One Piece.

I disagree. Based on appearance, Yato still looks like a young adult.

Nora (The Stray): Kugimiya Rie
Tenji : Ookawa Tooru
source

Kugimiya Rie voicing the main antagonist should be interesting.

I wasn't terribly excited about this series until I saw two things. The first thing I noticed was the fact that it was by studio Bones. Studio Bones is bar none one of the very greatest anime studios around. The fact they are including it on their comeback tour instantly puts the show on my radar. The second factor is that the preview was just jaw dropping. Good music, animation, and art. However, it didn't seem to have any of the silly workarounds so many anime studios use nowadays. All in all count it on the "totally hyped for" list. Between this, Kill La Kill, and Space Dandy, we are in for a great winter.
