Alis sure has an interesting personality.
Ai on the other hand is still so innocent and naive.
Looking for Scar was proving to be very interesting.
At least we managed to find out something more about grave keepers.
Wish they would give us more info and clarify things.

Just started this anime today.

First..

How dare he kick a loli!!!!

This male lead is one of my least favorite characters right from the start,

Hmm, the zombie villagers seem nice enough. They stayed human in actions, despite being walking dead. And why does this guy have to kill all the villagers in the town?

And a little curious on where Grave diggers come from.. they just kagically appear or they're actually born? Going to watch more episodes in the next few days.

Although to be fair, it clearly wasn't going very far anyway...

As for the current episode, basically what I got out of the ending is that lightning struck somewhere next to Scar and suddenly everything was resolved somehow. This show continues its amazing ability of providing some truly inexplicable endings.

I'm still enjoying -kind of- the show but it really jumped the shark after episode 3. None of the stories since then have been as engaging. The latest episode seemed a bit pointless... they spend the whole ep looking for Scar, and when they do find her at the very end of the episode, her problem is resolved in 3 seconds. Ok.

I hope a light novel reader explains the ending. It didn't make sense, but was that lightning all about and why did Scar have the sudden change of heart.

BTW did I miss out the Yuri/Scar hints while I wasn't paying attention in the previous episodes?

I'm fairly sure the dream sequence he saw of his wife & daughter leaving him played somewhat of a role in the confession. (Just like it did with Ai.)

Still not sure what the window signifies for Alis, though.. It's the same window from Episode 7 (0:00) and 8 (13:00), but never really explained. All I know is that Whisper has the same school uniform as the students of that school. (The place with the Ferris wheel..)

So chances are, we'll see her again, and soon.

Also something interesting to note:
Ai - Mother and father departing dream sequence.
Yuri - Wife and daughter departing dream sequence.
Alis - Window dream sequence .... However, if you recall, Whisper left the group earlier. That symbolism.

Scar just needed to get over her POST PARTUM BLUES/POST PARTUM DEPRESSION she was experiencing... Facing a new phase of her life as a parent from a Grave Keeper is not not that easy. It's something real mothers often faced.

Glad she has the right people to support her in overcoming it... Wonderful episode.

I'm confused by the recent episode... Why did Scar leave, exactly? And I also don't get Ai's statement during her hallucination. Was that just something she always wanted to say to her father, but never mustered up the courage to or something?
