Man, the latest episodes have been quite brutal. I thought Mista would have died for real after receiving so many bullets. We also got a bit of backstory with Bucciarati to contrast it a bit. I wonder if Araki is planning to kill somebody for real.

Well, it wouldn't be the first time Araki killed a main character. This part has a serious tone too (although there are still comedic moments like that ending), with the antagonists getting killed pretty brutally.

I expect a main character or two to die off, I just don't think it will be this early though. We haven't even met the boss yet.

It's cool to see Giorno taking a kind of inspirational and intelligence role within the group, helping to motivate them and figuring out how they can best use their abilities to defeat their opponents .

It was nice to finally see how Mista met Bruno and how he ended up joining Bruno's team. Probably the most enthusiastic joining of the group shown so far .

Man, what a finish to Ghiaccio. Mista goes through all that but it seems like Ghiaccio has managed to pull out a win...only for Giorno to pop up to "Mudda Mudda" him to death. This assasination team doesn't mess around, but it makes it all the more satisfying when they're defeated .

Narancia coming in and mistaking Giorno giving Mista a hand job...priceless .

They keep almost killing Mista off that it's making me think they're setting up for when they actually do kill him off .

FUCK YEAH, JOJO!!!

This was one of those episodes that just makes you want to yell that, just pure intensity from beginning to end, culminating in moment of absolute badassery, all the while my love for Mista continues to grow. Just fantastic!

Episode 20 is badass.

The suspense, expansive storytelling of Bruno's past, and the revelation of King Crimson. What an episode.

King Crimson has arrived!

Man, this was quite an episode. I might have been nitpicky about these flashbacks, but Bruno's felt really good. For a second, I started thinking he will die like Kakyoin in the fight against the boss. Can't wait for the next one.

King Crimson is finally here! And people are still arguing about how it works

We already knew he was pretty nuts, but the Boss exceeded expectations. All this just so he could kill his daughter with his own hands.

I was thinking before the last episode that it was about time for someone to die. I'd say the last JoJo series was an exception in only killing off a minor character that no one cared about. Usually you get at least one significant death. With the plot armor miraculously keeping Mista alive I suppose it was Buccellati that made the most sense to kill off. He's gotten several major fights so it won't be as if he was underutilized in this series.

Honestly what was this Boss thinking Buccellati would do anyways? You hire a guy to protect Trish and then leave him with a severed hand. Just toss the hand and leave? Well I guess that was probably what he thought would happen. Not sure why he didn't just have the mission be "leave Trish in the elevator and send her up alone." Buccellati would then be left with the presumption that Trish was fine and mission accomplished.

Yeah, I'm not sure why the boss was so surprised that Buccellati chased after someone that for all he knew was kidnapping Trish after he gave the order to protect Trish.

I was about to start with manga Golden Wind, but I kinda want to see this adaptation in their place and later pass to Part 6. Manga readers tell me, is the manga version somewhat different of better explained or something that make me going to read it or better I stick with anime.

It should tell you something when over 15 years after Golden Wind, fans still debate over how King Crimson work.

The anime is very faithful to the manga from what I can remember so if you want to stick with it, you can.

King Crimson works however Hirohiko Araki needs it to at any particular moment regardless of how it worked in the past or will work in the future.

For a second I thought Giorno wanted to take Trish up to assert his dominance as main character .

I wasn't expecting to see Bruno's backstory, although considering we got to see everyone else's it wasn't all that surprising. Kind of surprised he had a pretty common and unremarkable backstory, being the son of a fisherman who's wife left him for a new life, but then his dad stumbles onto a drug deal and he guts the people sent to off him like a fish .

I honestly thought for a second that the person who nabbed Trish was the last member of the Assassination Team, so I'm curious how he'll fit into the story now that things seem to be shifting towards Bruno's group dealing with the Boss .

So Katsuyuki Konishi is the voice of The Boss? He went from being Jonahtan Joestar in the forgotten Phantom Blood movie to the ostensible villain of Part 4 .

King Crimson is a pretty awesome and intimidating-looking Stand, fitting for a Big Bad. It looks like it's ability is somewhat time-based? Although I'm not sure how that explains how it can seemingly slice things up, unless it's like slicing time. It sounds like this confusion as to what exactly King Crimson can do is something I will have to live with moving forward .

When Bruno cursed the Boss, I understood why Yuuichi Nakamura was the pick. The delivery was gold.

I see. So that's why the new opening theme's title said "traitors". The cast became the traitors (well, except one). Now I can see why Araki put so many flashbacks. It was to give the decision more impactful.
