Any mature/supernatural out there?

I just finished an anime and I just finished searching too but I cant seem to find the certain animes Im looking for

Heres what Ive watched:

Full Metal Alchemist - I consider this a supernatural (Alchemy)

Darker than Black

Code Geass- Mecha

Death Note

Ghost hunt

Zombie Loan

Ones that I didnt like

Gurren Lagann

Black cat - used to be mature but it went from mature to stupid

Black Lagoon

Blassreiter

Ergo Proxy

Elfen lied/laid

PS: Im really into mature/reserve/mellow main protag

The protagonist in Mononoke meets that criterion; he's almost disturbingly laid-back as he confronts his demonic opponents. This show is a continuation of the final ("Bakeneko") arc of Ayakashi Samurai Horror Tales which is available in R1 as Goblin Cat.

The stories in both series are most definitely mature.

I recommend Mushishi. It has a bit more fantasy than supernatural, but you still get the supernatural feeling.

Seirei no Moribito and The Twelve Kingdoms might work too.

I still think I might miss your definition of mature though.

Natsume Yuujinchou - supernatural bittersweet episodic stories with a reserved protagonist.

You like mature and mellow but the lists above are too soft...it's children not mature at all.
I recommend Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, Scrapped Princess, RahXephon, Fantastic Children and Vision of Escaflowne.

also second KholdStare's recommend for mature Categories.

I don't know if Basilisk is considered supernatural. Some of the stuff these people do are very supernatural, but anyways if it is considered supernatural then it fits your criteria.

I'll second Higurashi. Give it 4 episodes--it seems like something else and then becomes really good.

Seconding Natsume Yuujinchou & Seirei no Moribito. You may like Kara no Kyokai (Type-Moon) for its mature characters, good plot, sinister atmosphere, great visuals and songs. Also suggesting xxxHOLiC series, Hatenkou Yuugi, Amatsuki.

Feel free to watch Higurashi first, think nothing's going on and set it aside after a couple eps.
Then come back and get twisted. It's a nice feeling.

What? That's what happened to me with Higurashi.

Spoiler for Higurashi:
\

I dont get how the episodes are made http://www.tv.com/higurashi-no-naku-....html?season=1

why is it like that???
its more like melancholy of haruhi suzumiya...
To all the guys that advised Higurashi Im gonna go back watching it as for now Im gonna stop watching it and try other else and by the way its really good but it can really make you paranoid and its twisted and morbid
