Instead of making preconceived predictions how about basing your opinion off of what you've seen so far.

Why would you think that? Think of FMA: the manga wasn`t finished yet but the first anime still had a good ending. Anyway, based on these 2 episodes it looks as if they aren't in a rush, if they were they wouldn't have extended the first chapter into 2 chapters and added original material.

I think the anime will have an open ending so they can make a second season.

DMC is more a game then an anime. And how the hell is it connected with Naruto, the invisible demons are even more a Bleach concept then Naruto..

OP/ED are very average, even Star Driver ones were better and the episode was ok, but it's only the start so I expect more.

The only Naruto parallel in this series is that Rin had a relation with some type of demon that was kept secret from him and he was shunned by his peers.

You’ll have to give me a description of a scene that you want (times also work, but might not match mine). I went though the episode (last time) and didn’t really see a scene that was special and doable. And by that I mean doable in high quality; meaning relatively short.

Let’s just say the episode, for all it’s nice animation, is actually very efficient use of budget.

I just said that I liked SD OP/ED better and fanboyism has nothing to do with it. At least I don't beg for anyone to make an avatar from Ao every message, especially here. Whereas a request in this thread is much more appropriate.

Well second episode was better. Still a bit irritated that protagonist just had to act like a typical shounen hero and come back to the chapel (not to mention spitting out typical shounen hero crap like "I ain't done talking to you yet!"), but by the end, I actually felt bad for him.

Will watch next episode. Premise really is that interesting, simply because of the irony.

Why precisely are you comparing this to Star Driver? The two are completely different shows in rather different genres overall. The only connection between them is that they shared the same time slot.

It's true that comparing them isn't exactly right given the difference, but that's no need to rag on Star Driver at all in this thread either.

Watched epis1& 2 not bad, tho Rin does seem to have your typical shounen characteristics but that's okay he's 15 (right? I thought I heard that). Story interests me more than the characterss at the moment I like this genre so will stick with it for now.

Not always true, because there's a handful of shonen jump (or SQ) titles that have main characters that are way over that age lmit. The 13-15 age limit is mainly used because it's the target audience age.
