The people in the Photography and Art club are all really nice. Hitomi is lucky they were the first persons she came across. I'm glad Hitomi ultimately opened up a bit in this episode. I was frustrated that she didn't tell anyone she couldn't see colors when they asked to perform an action that required seeing them. Although if Glasses hadn't yelled at her, everything would have apparently been fine. Bad call on her part there.
Kohaku's finally here! Now is where it gets interesting!

Yeah, never interrupt someone unconsciously casting if it's preventing them from harm. You'll break the "spell".
Granny arrived on a boat. My theory is that she got that way here because no airline would take her Also it seems their personalities will REAAAALLY clash

Based on what we've been told about Kohaku, they're pretty much polar opposites. I think it will be a good thing for Hitomi to have someone like her by her side, although Kohaku may prove to be more than she can handle. Really could go both ways.

Ugh, if there's one character I'm not liking, it's Kurumi. Well for one Kawai has a bad rap with me, on top of that it's Naobu who's voicing her. Sure I don't mind Naobu most of the time, but she really destroyed Chitoge in Nisekoi IMO. And here we have Kurumi having a tsundere relationship with that kouhai guy, and it's just giving me PTSD. Now we have her breaking Hitomi's subconscious casting of water walking, and I'm just facepalming real hard.
Oh well, at least 'Granny' is coming back next week. How it took her 3 episodes in a 12 episodes to get here, I don't know what the creators were thinking, but honestly I'm getting tired of the MC's Rei personality and I'd rather have (what it looks like) her granny's Asuka personality instead. So yeah, bring it on!

Yeah, that wasn't exactly smart. Also in Episode 1, she blithely posted a video of the MC sneaking out of a guys house on the internet as if nothing bad could happen from that. Not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.

Basically it's strange, and I don't think the writer thought things through.

But everyone knows there is magic. But we probably won't get any Muggles vs. Magic drama. My question is if everyone knows that you can just send people into the past like that. Because... yeah, I'm not exactly sure you could be living in peace if people know there is magic that just lets people intrude in the past.

Kohaku probably invented time magic. And it took her sixty years to get it ready.

I'm actually starting to think it was Hitomi who sent herself to the past, under the guise of Granny's "60 year charge up time magic". The letter stated that Granny of the future thinks Hitomi is a stronger mage than she is, and Granny was no slouch as a mage when she was Hitomi's age. So why else would Granny think Hitomi has stronger magic powers than she?
I mean this episode proves that she subconsciously casts magic IF she thinks an outside item will bring about a magic effect, and her water walking because of blue vial wouldn't be much different from Granny tricking her using moon dust in order for her to travel back in time. Hitomi will find out it was her own power that sent her back (this seems to be a journey of self discovery after all), and that's how she'll get back to the future. Totally speculative of course, but that's just my hunch.

Well we meet one familly of mages, and as it happens the trait rund from the grandmother to mother to her daughter etc. So yeah, we can't really tell as of yet. But given all the "Earth mother" and like it IS possible that it's a female thing. Then again it might not be.
