When I first watched that awesome trailer, I was like


" I get to watch 13-26 episodes of this godliness!? Heaven, here I come!!!!"


But then I realized it's only a 90-minute movie, and went *kablonk*


But I hope both the TV and movie will turn out right. I only wish they used the movie art style for the TV also. It looks great.

The game was great as it was. We can only hope that the director won't deviate too much from the original.

As for the art styles, that's not possible probably because of funding constraints.

Well there is also going to be a TV series of 12 episodes. So if you want slightly more animation, you can watch that. A sneak peek of that would be interesting *cough*9/4-9/5*cough*

UPDATES: DVD called AIR "prelude" was released I was took it has a trailer on it of the tv series it goes for 1,980

No it hasn't been released. It's up for preorder though and will come out in November. If you want to order this, I suggest you order it fast before it runs out (20,000 copy limited run)
Holy crap those are some high resolution scans. I can actually read the text, and rather easily too ^^;

Just so you don't feel like you're the only person who's ever in this thread, I'll say I am dying to see this series and movie, too.

I watch the movie preview often and I rewatched the series "prelude" now that Triad released it.

I'm counting the days. I can't wait.

AIR <-- most antipated anime of the year for TLG

Anyhow I hope they don't botch it up like the anime like Wind;but the success of Kanon gives me at least some level of comfort. Now all I need is Clannad and we are all set

Yeah, I'm worried about that too. I am anticipating AIR being on the same level as Kanon.

I'm sure getting my hopes up. They better not crush them.

I dobn't think they will, I think they will a good/decent job. The animation shows at least some of that

I just took a look at the latest AIR Movie TV commercial and I have to say that the characters look too dark/shaded or at least they look darker than the TV series. I think I prefer the TV series' character designs more, but the movie may just be designed that way to give a more serious vibe. Will be interesting if the differences are similar to the differences between the Escaflowne movie and TV series (sans huge character design difference and Pinocchio syndrome)
